This is a great, simple, clean hotel. The pool And hot tub seem to be out of order all the time but they have luggage carts, are centrally located, have decent breakfast and kind staff. Pet friendly, lots of parking.

Before our trip to the coast I called their front desk multiple times and never got through. I wanted to verify that their pool was working since we were bringing out grandchildren. We were very annoyed to arrive and find out that their pool was not working. We sat in the lobby with our luggage and kids and made calls to other hotels.

I've stayed here several times before. This time I noticed a few changes that I didn't like - the carpet was filthy, there was mold along the bottom of the wall in the pool area, and the railing in the hot tub was loose. They've also reduced breakfast eggs and sausage to weekends only. I always find the staff very friendly and the rooms nice and fairly large, so that was still in place. There's no carpet in the rooms, so that was clean. I hope at least the carpets gets addressed before I come back again.

The pool and spa were not operating, the mattress and pillows were substandard, the room was advertised as a junior suite but wasn’t any larger than a standard hotel room, and the room had cobwebs on the ceiling and a layer of dust under the bed. The encore was paying $120.00 more for two nights over Expedias posted price, which I’ll now have to battle with Expedia over. We bailed after one night.

Cool, clean place. VERY comfortable beds! I want those mattresses. Didn't like how the breakfast you had to ask for a lot of the things like sausage, eggs, basically the hot food. It was kind of confusing not being the normal buffet style and not knowing that you have to peak your head around the corner of a doorway into a room to ask for a serving off hot food. Honestly, kinda weird. I mean it wasn't like you couldn't get the breakfast stuff but after figuring it out finally, I watched people after people walk in, just seeing cereal and muffins and thinking that's all there was. Then I'd have to get up and explain to them that they had to ask the person in the little room if they wanted some the other stuff such as sausage, eggs, you know, the basics. Just really confusing... But a nice, clean place to stay if you don't need an ocean front view. Oh... and the pool was very nice and fun as was the hot tub, just know that it is crowded.

They definitely do not mop or sweep each room in between families. I couldn’t let my baby crawl around because the floors were so dirty and I kept finding bundles of hair and dust everywhere. One of the queen bed sheets had stains on them. Looked like there was mold on the bathroom ceiling as well. Paid for 2 nights but ended up leaving late the second day because we were so uncomfortable

The white duvet cover had some marks/stains on one bed. With great lighting from blessed sunshine, dust on face of desk and dresser visible. Bathroom was clean but due to age and use, the toilet seat had yellow stains and bubbling on surface. It looked questionable but it was clean.

The room was honestly the dirtiest hotel I’ve stayed at. The toilet seat in the room looks gross and needs replaced. There was white creamy substance on all surfaces including end tables, desk, and tv stand. These surfaces were not whipped down before my stay. Bedding had stains- I hope it was clean. I was not satisfied with the cleanliness to say the least. All else was good.

After checking in I went to my room, and noticed it had only been partially cleaned. Looking around there was hair on the bathroom floor, false eyelashes near the beds, fridge had been left unplugged and near the door (not in the built in area for it), an odd odor to the room, and stains on the bedspread. I went to request another room. They were able to give me one. But this one also seemed partially clean. There were muffin crumbs on the chairs, a weird red stain on the floor which had attracted ants, and drinks umbrellas by the window. The curtain also didn’t close entirely so I had to clip them closed since the room was on the first floor.

I have stayed before. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Location is great. Bed was very soft, but comfortable. Indoor pool was perfect temperature. The room was dirty. Several long and short hairs in the bathtub upon entering. Used tissue and dust bunnies under my bed. Lightbulb over sink was out. We mentioned, but no one came to change out. Sink drain stopper would not pop back up, so we had to keep emptying the water in the basin with the ice bucket. It would have been appreciated if they had discounted the room.

The room was ok, but it should be noted only south side rooms have a view, even if the parking lot. On the both side, you see trees and no view. 1st is highly not recommended. Soap dispensers provide low quality products and just dispense a small amount. Basically bring your own. Rooms are generally dark. Staff is pleasant. The $5 daily probably covers the free breakfast. I property slides to being close to things, but not really. I might have missed something. This said, I did sleep well. It was perfectly fine, but if looking for “extras”, this might not be the place. The brewed coffee was very good. The hot breakfast on Sat/Sun was enjoyable.

Everything here was fine, with the exception of the beds and pillows. The pillows fall flat instantly and slide behind the mattress and wall. The mattresses are somehow extremely soft while also being bouncy, making it hard to sleep comfortably. These are only real issues we had during our stay.

The layout of the family suite was excellent. We liked that each room had a window that could open and let in the fresh air. Front desk staff was good. It was a little smelly from pets. I wish you had no pet options. The beds were not great. They were pretty soft. The location was good.

Front desk needs attention fast. You had a line out the door to check people in. The person I believe his name was Daniel needs to work on his people skills. Definitely needed a second person there to help. I never waited so long to check in somewhere. Also an extra $6 convenience fee upon check in. Not only unnecessary and petty but you have to have Daniel re explain the fee to everyone over and over. Just roll the stupid petty fee with the price of the hotel. Definitely a hard pass on this place

Staff were never at the front desk, and calling the phone # listed hardly went through. Front desk area and out front always smelled like cigarette smoke. Hallway carpet was filthy. Elevator didn’t work one day. Breakfast was a joke. Room wasn’t clean, I seen crumbs and dirt on the floor from previous guests. Bed was way too soft. Bathroom had a lingering smell of urine.

Easy friendly check-in. Very clean and well ordered accommodations. Great assortment fiid and snack items in the lobby. Peshawn was especially delightful at the Front desk. Perfect stopping place in the coast for stores, food and a close to the ocean. Casino nearby also!

This is the second time that I’ve stayed at this hotel and I absolutely love it. The staff and the crew are phenomenal. They always have a positive attitude and super welcoming when you come to the hotel the main reason why I came back this time was because of a gentleman named. Hicham Lachhab he has the best Customer Service and the best customer relations that I have ever seen in an assistant manager for the Ashley. Inn I will definitely be staying here more often due to his amazing customer service and the liability. It’s kind of funny. We actually met each other first time in August and he actually remembered me and my name, which is outstanding definitely wished that this gentleman could get a massive pay raise for the amazing customer service and hard work that this man puts in thank you again for allowing me to stay at this amazing hotel and thank you for being an amazing customer service representative

I would not recommend this hotel. We experienced multiple issues during our stay. Our keys quit working half a dozen times, prompting continuous trips to the front desk. Evening front desk staff could not figure out how to change the bathroom light bulb and was going to leave us overnight without a working bathroom light, so we had to figure it out and change it ourselves. Our room seemed fairly clean, but the common areas are far from clean. The same garbage remained on the floors of the stairwells remained for all three days of our stay, not to mention the carpeting in these areas is extremely stained and dirty. Due to the pool being down for maintenance, which we knew prior to check in, they only offered a $6 amenity fee reduction. If it had not been a busy holiday weekend, we would have left to find different accommodations. Finally the evening staff stopped by our room while walking by to ask why our room door was open. #1 it is none of your business, we had it open on an end room to allow for some air flow through the room. #2 him telling us we needed to close the door and that it could not stay open all night was not needed, but we would like to thank Captain Obvious for that bit of insight.

Not worth the hassle. We arrived for a late check-in after confirming on the hotel’s website that check-in was available anytime after 2pm. Upon arrival, Daniel checked us in without disclosing the total charge and ran our card—charging us $200 more than our Expedia booking. When I questioned it, he claimed we should’ve called before 11pm (not stated anywhere online), offered no apology, and said he’d refund the difference. Even then, the refund was still $50 short. He refused to review my confirmation or provide an itemized receipt, and repeatedly cut me off. The next morning, the manager Trish was more professional and agreed to refund the extra $50, but still couldn’t give me a receipt. When I returned later, another staff member (the only helpful one) finally issued a proper receipt and confirmed the refund hadn’t even been processed yet. Now we’re waiting days for our money back—on a weekend trip. Poor communication, lack of transparency, and multiple errors made this stay frustrating and stressful. I will not be returning.

The property is on the other side of a busy highway and not beachfront. You have to cross this highway and go a ways to reach the beach. You can not see it from the hotel either. There is not much within walking distance either. I could hear the guest upstairs running around very clearly. The bed was made with a top sheet instead of a fitted sheet, so it kept moving, exposing the bare mattress yuck. The soap, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers were all empty upon arrival. There is no phone to call for housekeeping or to call the office. I was disappointed in my stay there.

I appreciated being able to park in the lot before check in, so I could walk down to the beach for a while first. The room was ready when I was back, and I got to check in quite early. Wonderful after a long walk! Staff person was attentive and kind, room was large and well maintained. Will be back!

We've stayed at this hotel several times and overall we like it. However, the pool and hot tub were down. The staff called the day of the reservation to let us know, in case we wanted to cancel but by then the price of everything in the area had more than doubled. So going elsewhere was not an option. Additionally, they used to have several "hot" options for breakfast. Now there are just waffles and cold options during the weekdays and maybe more during the weekends.

The room was convenient for our family of 5. This hotel is outdated though. Pool area , not new by any means, hallways are dusty and dirty. Rooms were ok, pretty dusty under the beds . Just not super clean all around. Breakfast was ok, no eggs, bacon or sausages. Waffles were really good . It would be a toss up if I would go back there and stay again.

Check-in was great. Our room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The hair dryer didn't work, and the freezer compartment in the fridge was almost full of frost. Both of these items were addressed within 15 minutes by the maintenance person. The shower was the biggest negative in our room #215. It had very weak water pressure, similar to someone holding a watering can over your head, which we didn't mention until our departure. Breakfast wasn't worth going down for. All carbs. Cherrios, waffles, bread and muffins. Oh, and a chilled bowl of hard-boiled eggs. All things considered, we would stay here again because all of the staff we encountered were great and we know what to expect.

Enjoyed the friendly staff at the desk and Trish in the dining room. Room was clean, as was the hotel. Pretty outdated furnishings, but how much time do you spend in your room when you're at the coast? We were not notified that the pool and spa we're out of order until our check-in, not about the hot breakfast being offered only on the weekend. We were given a 15% discount on our next stay, because of the pool and spa, but it would have been nice to have it for this visit. If you want a nice quiet place to stay without an ocean view, this is it.
