Kitchenette facilities were very nice. More move ability than regular rooms. Worth the extra expense.

Didn't enjoy the 36 stairs to get to the 3rd floor with my handicapped friend and dog. Ice machine was broke and didn't get a printed receipt because they were out of ink. But the staff was very kind. Room was great.

Office is rundown, old and cluttered. Exit stairway “under construction”(but doesn’t really look like anyone is really fixing it). Felt unsafe not having an emergency exit stairway on our side of hotel. Room super basic, no ice, no laundry bag, no closet. Sand already in bed before we even sat on it or went to beach. Parking lot felt unsafe, people driving unsafe with loud music and yelling. Only reason they can charge as much as they do is because it’s right on the beach, otherwise they could maybe get away with charging $70

Great view and easy walk to the beach

Beach access not good for older folks. Didn’t like climbing over high bathtub to get a shower. Loved the big window for both the ocean view and hearing the sound of the surf all night. All staff were very thoughtful and helpful. Climbing stairs with luggage was hard. We may need to get an ADA room next time.

The description and photos listed on hotels com was not what I received at check-in. The room was much different and outdated from what I booked. Full kitchen was non-existent, Private patio with hot tub was not so private, no AC, bottom floor with no lock on sliding glass door, no chairs or table on hot tub patio/deck. Many discrepancies. See photos attached. The view of the ocean was nice but you can get the same view elsewhere and actually get what you book and pay for.

Had a king with hot tub on the balcony, really enjoyed our stay even though it was just a night. Bathroom was questionably clean, but it appeared that rooms were updated recently and maybe bathrooms are next. Also worth noting there is no AC, but overall would stay again!

The staff was very friendly, except maintenance, he just looked mad all the time. We were told we had to wait to check in so they could finish mopping (It was after 4 slightly) no problem, we want a clean room. I spilled my water and cleaned it up with a towel, the towel was black from filth. Stove didnt work properly. One of the gals outright lied and said pots were magnatized and had to be sitting on the burner. Bacon cooked in skillet for 55 min and then I had to finish it off in micro. Only 2 large skillets and 1 small. No saucepans. They did bring a new set of pans (ha not magnitized). Baseboards disgusting. Bathtub was disgusting. Clean, but the brown was embedded and cracks everywhere. New owner should actually care about investment. Ice machines broken so staff has to pour up bags of ice when you go ask for it. (They keep in a cooler). Overall its gone downhill since I was there last. Toilet is loose.

No smoke detector. Frount desk person very intense.

The view is amazing, but the room was dirty and so many things are very very outdated. It looks like they barely keep it up and yet they don’t offer any benefits besides a view.

This motel has a beautiful view! And the staff were very nice and helpful when checking in. But that’s about it. We checked in and decided within 10 minutes, that this is not somewhere we would be sleeping. We instead cut our trip short and went home. The room smelled like mold. The bathroom tiles and shower had significant visible mold. The room did not feel clean or well maintained. The window was foggy and distorted. The floors in the room and the outside hallway are tilted in a way that had me concerned about the structural integrity. I wanted to like this place so badly! With its location, it has real potential.

The room was really dirty, there was dog hair and dog food on the floor, still garbage in the wastebasket in the bathroom, the shower and towels looked stained and dirty. we were on the 3rd floor and there was no screen on the window. There is no AC in the room. They gave us a fan but the cord had a sticky brown substance all over it. Definitely not worth a $270 a night. It is beach front so you can hear and see the ocean from your room which was nice.

Excellent location for exploring tide pools. Amazing view. The hotel is old and funky, which I don't mind if it's clean. Unfortunately my room was very dirty. The floor hadn't been swept or vacuumed prior to mopping and there was dog hair everywhere. The floor was still very wet from mopping when we arrived and the mop water was very dirty. White bathroom towels with stains or dirty?? Who knows. Bathroom sink was clogged. We paid for two nights but only stayed one.

I recently stayed at this inn and unfortunately found the cleanliness to be lacking. The floors were noticeably dirty—I didn’t feel comfortable walking barefoot and had to keep my sandals on the entire time. There was visible dust, hair, and even a few dead bugs in the corners, which made the room feel neglected. The nightstands were also dusty, and the hairdryer had strands of someone else’s hair on it, which was off-putting. The bathroom setup was awkward and not particularly clean, which made using it uncomfortable. While the hot tub was a nice feature and relaxing overall, the whirlpool button didn’t work, which was disappointing. The patio had no lights, so we had to keep the door open for lights and bugs had made its way in. On the positive side, the inn is in a convenient location near the beach, which is great if you’re planning to spend most of your time outside. However, for the price, it’s super expensive. I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness. If you’re someone who values a spotless room, this may not be the best choice.

Totally disappointed in the property & it had good review numbers. Receptionist was rude when I asked if we could have an early check in (an hour). Room was old & beds were awful. Door was hard to open. Needed an extra blanket, went to the front office to get a contact number & was told she’d bring it to the office…..I waited 5 min in my pjs. No wash cloths either. Floor was gritty (sandy) so beds got grit in them. Won’t be back.

The hot tub was the cleanest part of the room. There was urine dried to the toilet seat, the tub didn’t drain, the tv wasn’t hooked up and there was a hole in the ceiling that had been covered with plywood and painted. There was no A/C and the sun beat down on our room and made it extremely hot in the room. Staff was really friendly though.

Tried to handle it without writing a review but they don’t keep their word. Walked into the room with an absolutely being filthy, went downstairs to complain about the stains sand dirt in dog hair in our bed in the handed us the blankets to change ourselves, then walked into the bathroom with pee on the toilet and bathtub. The floors were not swept. The sink was not cleaned. Absolutely nothing was clean in the room.

The room I was in had mild in the shower and the room felt closed in like, what I would believe to be, a prison cell. Except you could not beat the view and the deck over looking the water. If it did not have the view and deck, I would not recommend, but saying that, if they updated the room it would be a wonderful budget friendly stay.

Beachfront hotel, beautiful views. This is an old hotel, with the wear and tear of the beach and ocean exposure.... but they have done recent upgrades in the rooms and the beds are comfortable. Beach access doesnt get any beter. Location, location, location!

While the view and hot tub were great, room was so-so. We had room with deck and hot tub facing the beach. View was great and tub deck area small but nice. Room quite dated and was ok clean but not great. Shower needed a deep clean. Bathroom very small no place to put personal items. The price was $100 difference Friday vers Saturday the room is not worth $295 on a Saturday night after school has started.

Older but some updates. Love the view!! Spacious room and easy beach access. The kitchenette was a nice addition but not well stocked. The bed was not the most comfortable but I did like the variety of pillows. For the price, it’s about what I expected. Good for a 2 night stay.

The view from the window was phenomenal, and the location was truly unbeatable! Other than that, it was a pretty average cheap motel. The building has seen better days, chipped paint in the room, laminate cracking off the furniture, old tub. There's no air conditioning, which is typically fine on the coast, the weather is usually cool enough - but there's also no screens in the windows, so bugs got in every day when I opened the windows to cool down the room. I was told on arrival that they don't do daily room cleans/restocks because of the COVID pandemic, this is in July of 2024. I work in a hospital, and even we have gotten back to pre-pandemic standards. The bed was reasonably comfortable. The chairs in the room, less so. There was no door mat, so it was impossible not to track sand into the room. If the view and location is your priority, this place is great. But even with the view and accounting for inflation, I expect something a little nicer when I'm spending over $225 a night.

The room was re-done and had wall to wall windows…great beachfront location, beautiful views. Beds were comfy, staff was very friendly, and it was a great stay. Only weirdness was that the walls in the bedroom were cement block and made it seem like a jail cell, the only faucet was in the main part of the room (not the bathroom), and the shower stall was very small and drained very slowly.

The bed & pillows were TOP quality! While the curtains barely covered the windows. Lol.. but that bed!! Wish I could bring that home with me! The only frustrating thing was whomever was above us were very heavy walkers very very late into the night.

Awesome ocean view. Comfortable beds. Decorated cute in a miniminalist style. Room could use a hair dryer and small table.

Tiny room, no real amenities other than a view and hot tub. Definitely not worth the $400 it cost. Not even close. I'd rather stay at motel 6

The room was clean and cute. But the king size bed was way too hard. I like firm but this was like sleeping on a board. I got no sleep. Made for a rough next day.

2nd time staying at Seagull Inn with bottom floor preference. Feliz at the Front Desk is utterly fantastic, kind, welcoming, on top of all the customer care and phone call inquiries. Eric was our initial efficient & professional housekeeper with a good sense of humor. We don't prefer to have house keeping services during our full stays as we do clean up after ourselves and bring our own blankets/necessities/snacks. The property is ADA accessible, the outer property has had periods of remodel and there is a smoking section against the rt side wall. Haven't had any issues with vehicle safety, pretty quiet after 10pm outdoors. There's also a drive down/walk down road access to the beach where 4WD vehicles can watch the sunsets near the reef just be aware if you're kiddo's or pets are running around, there are people that drive circles in the sand. Leash your dogs until you're farther down the beach for better safety.

I didn't get to stay because they called me at 6:30pm the night before check in telling me they were over booked and it was my job to contact Hotels.com to get a refund. Now hotels.com is "reviewing" my refund request. This was a trip for my daughter's birthday and the hotel should have contacted hotels.com. I wasn't able to stay here and after this, I definitely won't try again. What a pain.

The manager is the absolute sweetest person. She made sure we had everything we needed.

Staff was friendly, property was okay, only real complaint would be arriving around 4:50PM and the room not being ready till 30 min later. Not the biggest deal, but had we been there much earlier and needed or expected to be able to rest by 4pm. It could have been a bigger deal.

We recently stayed at the Seagull Beachfront Inn, and while our overall experience was fine, there were a couple of hiccups with the check-in and check-out process that left us a bit disappointed. Our check-in was supposed to be at 4:00 pm, but we weren't able to get into our room until 5:00 pm. The staff mentioned that they were short-handed and didn't have enough personnel to clean the rooms on time. We understood the situation and didn't mind the wait too much because we know things like this can happen. However, our check-out experience was less accommodating. I had an important online meeting that was running a little over the 11:00 am check-out time, so we asked if we could have just a few extra minutes to finish up. Unfortunately, we were told that late check-out was absolutely not possible, even for a few minutes. This strict policy felt quite inflexible and didn't leave a great last impression. Overall, the stay and the motel itself were fine, with clean rooms and a pleasant beachfront location, but the rigid check-out policy and delay in check-in took away from what could have been a more enjoyable stay.

This was an excellent place to stay! The staff are wonderful and helpful and the room was huge with super comfortable beds and pillows! The floor was not swept when we arrived and when I spoke with the owner she stated she had just fired the person who was responsible. She was super responsive. I will definitely go back there!

Adequate accommodations, but nothing fancy. No balcony on 1st floor, but great ocean view. Friendly staff. Right next to beach access walk way. Hotel is on the cliff, so it is a steep walk down to the beach but doable for most. It has steps as well as a driveway to the beach, so for the mobility challenged, one could drive them down to the beach, drop them off, then reverse to park back at the hotel.

You couldn’t ask for a more friendly and helpful front desk staff. Our room had an amazing view, and we loved being so close to public beach access. Our stay was very nice and we can’t wait to come back! Also being dog friendly was a huge plus!

The place is in a good oceanvuew location

Location location location. I enjoyed my room, it was a good place to relax and also get some work done. Pretty cozy. But you're not here for the room. You're here because you open the curtains and look out the window and it's literally the Pacific Ocean! The beach is right there! And the public access path to the beach is on the side of the hotel. You couldn't ask for a better place to marvel at the magnificence of the Pacific, no matter what the time of year. Plus downtown Lincoln City is just a short walk the other way. I look forward to coming back very soon!

The property is right next to some of the tide pool rocks in Lincoln City. This was a great place to stay with my toddler. We could walk down to see the tidepools and enjoy the ocean and beach view from the hotel.

Locally placed between the ocean and shopping strips

This place is very quaint, it’s on the older side but still nice. Because the place is older, the walls are very thin. I was woken up by next door neighbors once or twice. The location is amazing though, with views of the beach and ocean. Super close to restaurants and shops.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The view of the ocean is awesome, however the location on the beach is where folks go for late night bonfires and parties. We, along with other guests we talked to, were kept up literally all night from a bonfire party. This is no fault of the hotel but hopefully the city cracks down on this. Our room was not very clean. There was hair left on the shower wall and floor and the place is just old. It really needs and update. But we did enjoy the staff. Very nice!

Great beach front view and access to a clean beach. It was great. Unfortunately there wasn't any breakfest included but the view made up for it. It was a little bit older/outdated and could've been a little cleaner. Would stay there again.
