We had a pleasant stay at the hotel with very welcoming staff who made us feel at home. However, we were disappointed by the freezing pool that did not seem to be heated at all. This was a letdown as we were looking forward to relaxing in the pool. The early end time of the breakfast was also inconvenient, especially for late arrivals who need extra sleep after a long flight. Despite these issues, the overall experience was good thanks to the friendly staff and comfortable accommodations.

Easy check-in w/Alexis (very friendly & helpful). Missy & Crystal were also very informative & seemed to like working @Travel Lodge & working with the public. Our room was spacious, clean & the washer/dryer there were GREAT! Usually you have to run a dryer 2-3 times to dry a load, but not their dryer-ONE DRY cycle & everything was dry! The ice machine worked well & they even RECYCLE! The bed was very comfortable & the room was quiet. They even accommodated my handicapped husband & our dog, Jack. Would definitely stay here again!

Well. Location was great. Pool and hot tub were nice. However, it isn't the cleanest. Walls in the bathroom are pretty gross and could easily be wiped. Top of shower wall could also be wiped. Hair was up there and obviously we didn't want it falling on us. AC unit was really loud. Fire alarm went off every single time we showered. Luckily the window opened and with it opened and fan on we could get it to stop. Bed was really uncomfortable and sagged in the center. Super sore every morning. I probably wouldn't stay at this location again and I usually like this hotel. Just kind of outdated.

Hotel smelled and looked clean. We travel frequently and this is by far the cleanest hotel we have stayed in for awhile. The lady managing breakfast was helpful and friendly. We definitely would stay here again.

This facility was very clean. The bed was quite comfortable. The room had the necessary fridge and microwave. The breakfast was the standard continental breakfast with coffee, juice, waffles, bagels, toast, cereals etc. Nice way to start the day. The next time I come to Newberg I'll be staying here again. Oh, and the staff were very friendly and cordial.

The hotel reeked of marijuana and cigarette smoke. The rooms had an unpleasant odor to them. The night auditor was not very friendly. There was an odor of mercaptan ("rotten egg") in the pool room indicative of perhaps a gas leak.

We enjoyed the stay and the staff was helpful both with a late check in and the breakfast in the morning. The one negative was that the wifi was completely inoperable during our stay. There was barely enough signal strength to even register on our devices. Our son had planned to get some school assignments done while we stayed there, but this was not an option without the wifi.

We had a nice stay, the bed was super comfortable and the room was clean. The room was a little outdated but still nice. The only complaint I had, although minor, was that the walls were thin, so it was easy to hear everything going on in hallway or next door. The continental breakfast was lacking any hot choices/protein, but nice if you wanted something quick.

room was very nice. lots of little things that used to be in an average room. shampoo, soap, single serve coffee and maker, plenty of towels, kleenex.. the one star comes from the staff running the place. they take a credit card on file and put a deposit hold equal to the price of the room for “incidentals”. a very common practice for any hotel/motel. they took the deposit and then reimbursed it when i checked out. then they charged $50 an hour later. no explanation, no notice, just a random $50 charge after returning the deposit and our business was done. a very obvious scam to rob me of $50. like anyone else, i was checking to make sure they gave me the deposit back. i almost missed the extra charge but i just happened to look regarding something different and saw the $50 charge. they do that in hopes that once you see your deposit returned, you won’t check again until you get your statement at the end of the month or even not at all if you don’t keep track. so by the time you notice, if you notice at all, you can’t really dispute it because you waited so long. i called them immediately and they said they have to wait for the person who made the charge to have an explanation for the charge, and that person won’t be back until the next day. uh huh. right. so i disputed the charge with my bank as fraud. it’s a slimy way for dishonest people to squeeze a bit more from you. and these people are the ones that do that. great room. thieves running the place.

Checkin was difficult because weather was HOT and I needed to bring my two tiny dogs into the lobby with me, for their safety, to register, but I was reprimanded…pet friendly? I think not!!! Apparently, A previous pet guest had presented a difficulty so all the rest of us were then having to pay for that dogs behavior. Very inconvenient and very unfortunate, but I kept my dogs with me rather than subject them to the intense heat. It should’ve been handled as an individual case, and not bunched into a policy based on one dog behavior! I should have gone elsewhere, the minute the rudeness began

Good breakfast and area, room spacious, beds comfortable and clean. Access to hotel from highway was in need of tidying and making more welcome. Initial views as we entered from the highway was...'what have we come to?', when the hotel was not that bad really. A better entrance may attract more visitors.

I’m a repeat customer and love this place! I brought my dog this time and they made the process very easy, providing dog waste bags and a clean grassy area for the dogs to potty. They go above and beyond with their breakfast, providing Jimmy Dean Sausage Croissants! This is my go-to place in Newberg, OR!

I was warmly welcomed at check-in and received excellent tips for dinner. There is this standard smell that is found in many motels (cleaning product?) Breakfast on Sunday 7 am is very basic, consisting of bars, packaged muffin and coffee, but for the price you can say nothing. It is very good value for the money.
