We got here to check in mind you we had 3 adults and 2 kids, they could only give us 1 card bc of a card shortage, we get to our room, we have no toilet paper, 4 shower towels, 2 hand towels and 2 washcloths, when we went to ask for more toilet paper she almost didn’t find any and said she’d have to call their other location… they have kitchen cabinets that are completely empty, a microwave old as dirt, lamps from the 80s and beds that are about as comfortable as sleeping on the floor… the parking lot is tiny and some parking spots you’ll get blocked in, they charge a $150 refundable incidental fee incase anything is missing or damaged but yet they can’t even supply you with enough of the necessary items… the pool was locked at 3:30pm when according to the front desk it should’ve been unlocked at 9am… honestly one of the worst hotels we’ve ever stayed at. Def will would not recommend nor would we stay here again.

The staff were incredibly accommodating toward the materials needed for many guests. Unfortunately, they didnt really offer dairy/egg free options for the breakfast. And their pool was down for maintence (large reason we booked this specific location was for the pool). Nonetheless, i was very pleased with the room, as well as seeing all the different little accessibility things in the room.

The property on the outside was”ok” the room although it was “clean” the floor was dirty the doors where people touch were disgusting the set up in the room was not comfortable the grout and tile was moldy the tub had no stopper and an old bar of soap left in It from previous … the bed was clean and we had 4 pillows. That’s always a plus. The front desk woman was amazing as was the housekeeper when we asked for a set of towels.

The staff was very nice and my son loved the pool. Everything was fine except the cleanliness of the room. The only things clean in it were the bedding and towels. The bathroom had clearly not been cleaned so i bought lysol wipes and did a little cleaning myself. The floors were only swept not mopped. We had black feet just from walking around on them. The towel bar fell off the wall at us just hanging a towel on it. Aside from the cleanliness the hotel was great. Breakfast was decent for a hotel. Location was great. Right next to the freeway so easy to find.

We arrived and immediately had taken showers and came out and walked around the room and had absolutely filthy feet. Comforters Were either dirty or had stains on them. The couch, which doubled as a The couch which doubled as a sleeper was filthy on the outside and needed to be steam cleaned. Overall, the room needed a deep cleaning.The entry door was filthy on the inside and out.

Not very clean, very sticky kitchen & floor. Beds were ok. It is an old building so lots of worn things (carpets, edging, etc.). Our door got knocked on 3 times before check out starting at 8am while we were all still sleeping. Pool looked ok.

Stayed for a night while traveling. Great location close to the I-5. Didn't notice to much road noise. Property clean but definitely on the older side. Bed was uncomfortable. Adequate for a one night stay but would not want to stay longer.

Very disappointing for $169. The room was run down and dirty. There were dust bunnies all over the floor, webs along the baseboards and the built in nightstand had to be pushed back into the wall where it had been pulled out of. The pillows were thin and flat. The air conditioner rattled loudly every 30 minutes or so. We won’t be coming back.

The lining of the drapes was hanging below the drapes. The bedspread needed to be updated and more color would have been nice. The breakfast was great with lots of choices. Easy parking available.

Super nice staff at check in: very knowledgeable, thoughtful, and helpful. Table surfaces in room were sticky in a few areas but linens and bathroom were clean. There was no outlet near the "desk" for a lap top but ports near one side of the bed for phone. The heater worked well. Good lighting outside and was able to park near my room.

Our stay was fine till we needed to leave a day early and when we went to check out we were told they couldn’t refund us because we booked through Hotels.com, so when I called Hotels.com for my refund they told me they couldn’t because I paid at the hotel and they would need to refund me, needless to say I didn’t get refunded so we stayed in the room as long as we could before having to head out. Pros: wonderful staff, both gals at the front desk were incredibly nice and apologetic for the situation. Breakfast was really good, there were waffles, eggs biscuits and gravy, you name it…they pretty much had it. CONS: Room was small, and didn’t like that the door to the outside had major gaps, honestly I was happy it wasn’t the buggy season or our room would have been covered in bugs. The room had no carpet which is fine but gets super dirty fast and had to constantly wear my shoes. Bed was ok, glad I brought my own pillow, shower was super short, I’m 5’4” and barely fit under it. We probably won’t book again partly because of their refund policy and didn’t love the location right next to the highway.

Overall decent place to stay for the money. Room was small and dated but clean. Convenient location. My only complaint was checkin. I contacted earlier in the day to let know that we would be a late arrival. Got there just before midnight and staff member took over 30 minutes to get us into our room which was already paid for due to an issue with the check in process in the system. Extremely frustrating when we had drove over 4 hours and it was that late especially to find out that it was all because he entered Mastercard instead of visa for the incidental security deposit.

No one was at the front desk to check me in when I arrived. There was a bell to ring for assistance, which I did repeatedly for 10 minutes. Still no one. I called the hotel from the lobby to let them know was there, and through the automated answering system got my call transferred to the front desk. I stuff there and listened to the phone at the front desk ring for 2 solid minutes. Still no one showed up. I finally saw a young woman pushing a laundry bin across the parking lot, so I went out and asked her if there was anyone working the front desk. She said “Oh yeah, that’s me. I’ll be there after I drop off this laundry.” Total time to check in was over 15 minutes.

When we arrived just after 3 pm there was no one at the front desk. The sign said should be back in 5 mins and if not call the hotel's number. I waited over 5 mins then called the hotel's number and received a voice mail. I walked around to the kitchen area and called for someone, no answer. I looked around outside and unable to see any staff. Repeated this process two more times and emailed the hotel. I finally honked my horn very loud two different times before a staff came from the lower part of the parking lot and was vaping as they came to the office about a half hour later after I arrived. They stated they were the only staff and was fixing a leak in the laundry room. Finally checked in about a half hour after I arrived. The room was fine but will not stay again.

My stay at the Garden Valley Quality Inn was exactly what I expected. The sraff was friendly, prompt and helpful. The property was very clean, quiet, and located right off I-5, central to everything in Roseburg. I will stay there again.

The included breakfast was very good! The bathroom .. especially the bathtub needed an update. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The driving approach to the motel is tricky .. at least for us. We had to go back onto freeway and then immediately get off to approach the property.

The staff were excellent. That was the best part of our stay. Our first room had a strong cigarette smell. Staff moved us right away to another room however we were downgraded to a smaller room due to being full. Second room had a dirty floor, toilet handle was broken (fell off in the middle of the night) and super noisy rattling AC unit. Breakfast ran out of hot items early.

For an older complex this was well kept. The night staff and early AM staff was very friendly. I left my key in my room when I was letting my dog out and the AM staff was very nice and got me another key. The free breakfast was very neat and organized and plenty of variety. Helped on my early morning departure.
