Pool was out of order our whole time there of three days. We called every day asking and every day staff never knew and we would get a call later it was still closed. Their maintnance person didnt even know what they were doing. Kept messing up and was watching YOUTUBE videos to try and do this job. Beds were uncomfortable. Bathroom was not well cleaned.

Food was terrible, their spa was green and not repaired, property feels outdated. My sister was there three years ago and spa wasn’t repaired back then. The only good thing about it was their beds and their cleanliness. It’s why my sister returned and asked us to stay there with her.

The staff were lovely, they had plenty of coffee and snacks. The breakfast was really great with plenty of options. The pool was nice and we used the hot tub several times. There was EV parking for our vehicle and plenty of parking otherwise. Great stay and if we in town again we'll stay here.

I chose this hotel to the proximity to a concert and the proximity was wrong, the service was terrible, the tube was crack, the yacuzzy was not broke and the pool was freezing. DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. Staff was rude

First room i was assigned was 103. Upon getting into my room I kicked off my shoes and settled in. Instantly I felt my legs begin to itch and looked down to see 10+ flees in my legs biting me. I grabbed my stuff and left immediately. Told the front desk I needed a new room and was givin 229. It was flew free and clean but spent the rest the weekend paranoid and grossed out.

I booked through Hotels.com. We arrived at 9:30pm to check in after a long day of travel and upon walking into the room, were slapped in the face with the almost unbearable smell of mold/mildew. We immediately went to reception who told us this was her last available room. After a few minutes of debating we decided we didn’t want to load the kids and our items all back up in the car and find another hotel this late, and asked if we could have a discount if we stayed. The woman told us we would be discounted 50% if we continued with our stay, we decided to bear the smell for the discounted room price. Upon check out the next morning, I asked the new receptionist to confirm my discount and asked when I should receive the money back on my card. She told me the conversation was noted but that they could not give me the discount because I booked through a third party, after our stay was already completed. I told her I would have never paid that price to stay in that room and that we would have sought another hotel elsewhere had we known we were not getting the discount. There is no way that this location was not aware of the horrible smell in the room and should not have been offering it to guests. She apologized and told me there was nothing she could do. Hot tub was also cold.

When I arrived at the room the door was propped open. Everything looked okay so we put down our bags and locked the door. After returning from dinner we opened the door and the room had a strong urine order. Like cat spray. We kept the door open and opened the windows. Sprayed air freshener. Room 103. This was one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed in and we travel a lot. I do a big check in every room we stay in and I was stunned by how clean the ground under the headboard was!! Even in the fancy Disney hotel it wasn't that clean!

Friendly staff and quiet hotel. Good breakfast included in your daily rate. Kitchen dining room was spotless clean with good coffee and variety of choices. Major disappointment was the internet service. I was unable to check out our home security system for the entire stay. We would stay again. Expedia booking was seemless and easy.

The bed was so comfortable and the pillows. Really need to improve on lighting! Better light to put make on when you opened the curtains and stood there. It was not quiet in our room at night because of a very loud and disrespectful family staying above us. Great breakfast with a wonderful lady in there cooking and taking good care. Bad part AC did not work well. It was an oven in there. Over all Best Western is a great place to stay. :)

We went there because I was hoping for some Quiet time a pool and a Hot Tub the reviews were pretty good. Not so the bed was very hard, and the place was sold out the person at the desk got us a room on the 1st floor, because my wife cannot go up and down stairs, only to not be able to get any sleep because the people on the floor above us ran back and forth across the floor all night. I called the office 1 time at 9PM it did not stop.

Kind of what you expect. Clean hotel, but well worn. A lot of wall/door repairs that weren’t finished, ie painted sanded etc. if you’re upright, this isn’t your place. If you want a good room and don’t worry about finish, this place is for you.

We checked in at 8pm, 4 hours after check in started. The first room they gave us was not cleaned yet, the second room wasn’t done either, they had us wait in the hallway til they finished cleaning it. Only had 2 sets of towels but 3 of us were staying so we asked for more and the front desk said they didn’t have any towels available and they might not have any, had to wait over an hour for towels. A worker had their kid in the lobby watching a tablet loudly. There was still trash throughout the room and they were in a rush that they didn’t leave toiletries or toilet paper in the room. The front desk was so focused on dressing up for Halloween than helping customers and housekeepers.

The staff was incredibly friendly and willing to help as long as you could find them. When i arrived I couldnt find the front desk attendant who was in a back room and there was no sign or bell to ring to alert her of my presence. Another guest had been waiting for 10 minutes. Someone in the lobby, who had been visisting with others went and knocked on the office door when she realized we were waiting for help. It would be great to put some sort of call button out. Also, the wifi was down and had been for a while apparently. The view from my room was the roof over the pool and a wall,, ans the window didnt have a screen. But, food was well prepapred, room was clean and beds were very comfortable. So all in all, id stay again. It was a good experience.

Staff failed to respond to specific requests for equipment that was not working. (Tub that wouldn’t drain, smoke alarm which beeped in the middle of the night because it needed a new battery). I finally replaced it myself .

The staff was awesome here. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were great and beds were comfy! Was very clean and the Christmas decorations were awesome! The breakfast was delicious with a huge variety of choices. The whole vibe was positive as well as that town. Lots of history there.

It is kept up well like most Best Western properties. The staff here made it stand out for me. They were all personable, kind, helpful, and very well to work with when we did have one problem in one of our rooms. Definitely recommend staying here when visiting St Helens!

The staff was helpful, attentive and kind they even have fresh baked cookies in the evening which was cute. Pool was clean and not over chlorinated (which sometimes indoor feels that way) Jets weren’t working in hot tub. Facilities a little out of date and worn, but the rooms were properly cleaned, bed was fresh and clean with nice white linens. We stayed here for Halloween town festivities, which was just a 7 minute drive away from the hotel. Would recommend if your travel plans are the same.

I had a relaxing evening there was a free breakfast. I assumed it would be a normal boring, free hotel breakfast however, the eggs were good. The potatoes were fantastic and of course I had to have some biscuits and gravy, which were also good. The lady watching the buffet was very friendly and helpful.

We had to look for the front desk as there wasn't anyone when we arrived. Hotel is very old, no elevator. Our room was decently size but very old and it has this specific old smell. The bath tub was not clean, theres some left over hair possibly from previous guest, and the bath shower curtain was cloth which overflows water when u take a shower. For the entire stay, the wifi didn't work we called a few times and still didn't work. The free breakfast was limited and not good. This place is run down, don't know why it has 4 stars, although the staff was very nice. For $100 per night, you get what you pay for.
