Whispering Woods Resort

We did not have children with us, but there was a nice children's playground that was being enjoyed. The pool and hot tub area was very nice, as was the gym. We loved the peacefulness, and the trail going down to the river. There was everything we needed in the kitchen for making our meals. It was a very enjoyable stay, and we would definitely choose this place again.

They had everything we liked and needed: full kitchen, BBQ on the patio, quiet, outdoor pool and hot tub, very friendly staff.

The room was cozy, clean, and equipped for a super comfortable stay. I love how kid friendly this place’s accommodations were as well— the heated pool, the playground on site etc. It was also super close to all the places in town but tucked away just enough to feel secluded and peaceful. We also saw deer in the area. The staff were super nice and kind as well. We will absolutely return!

It was quiet and has the patio and full kitchen. Also the pool sauna and hot tub.

Washing machine was extremely loud. Trash behind end table in bedroom. Only one pack. Of coffee for a two day stay. Also only one detergent - wasn’t informed that we had to drag suitcases up outside stairs or that we had to take out trash and start dishwasher upon leaving. Also not informed that a $50 charge hold would be placed on card on arrival. Pool and spa closed at 6:45 and the temp was in the 90s!

It was off the beaten trail with nice areas to walk and relax. Room was well stocked and clean and tastefully decorated with a great use of space. Love the undercover parking. Wish the pool hours were longer to enjoy it more so. Closed at 6:45 pm just when you want to wind down. But over all, I’ll be back!

Overall we enjoyed out stay. Very peaceful. I do wish the pool and hot-tub didn't require sign in and were open later, but this probably helped keep things more calm. One complaint was that there was a lot of light coming through the bedroom windows. Would have liked full black-out curtians, but we made do.

I wish I'd have made the reservation for two days. This place was really nice. Clean rooms with a nice little kitchen. The pool, hot tub and workout room were better than I expected. Well worth the money and close to Mt Hood.

We loved our stay at Whispering Woods. The unit was large, clean, comfortable, and pretty quiet. The beds and showers were nice.

We were pleasantly surprised by how nice this property is - it exceeded our expectations. The room was clean and comfortable, and the setting (in the woods and on the golf course) was very nice. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Ski weekend at Meadows and Timberline. Easy drive to both. Property is a little dated but in great shape and sparkling clean. Didn’t cook this trip, but well-stocked kitchen if I had. Friendly staff. Will for sure stay again!

My family of five enjoyed a night at Whispering Woods Resort. The pool was great, the front desk staff was friendly and helpful, the unit was clean and spacious. We enjoyed a hike around Mirror Lake not far down the road.

Nice clean place to stay.

The condo was clean, but there was a very musty smell (mildew or maybe mold) that even after airing the place out, could not get rid of the mustiness. Very bad for my allergies.

Found 6 stink bugs throughout the unit. In bedroom, kitchen, and living room. Other than that all was well.

Great staff. Positive overall stay, the only drawbacks were the spotty WiFi coverage and older mattress.

The rooms are clean but out dated. Bed and pillows were hard. The upstairs loft sleeping chairs will only work for small children. The washing and dryer needs to be replaced. We took our clothes to a laundry mat down the road to dry them because dryer was taking so long.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. While the bed was satisfactory, I found the fold-out couch to be more comfortable than the main bedroom mattress. I enjoyed having coffee and breakfast on the patio, which overlooked the golf course.

We really enjoyed the property and its amenities. Our only negative is unfortunately it’s a wood building and not very well insulated between floors. The upstairs guest had small children that ran around until midnight. Thankfully that was near the end of our stay. However the units are awesome.

Loved that each room was set up with its own living area, dining area, & full kitchen.

The living room had a nice view of the woods. It was safe, clean, secluded, quiet. It is not upscale, but was overall a good stay. The bedrooms had very comfortable mattresses. There is one air conditioner unit for the whole place, but the first night we put the fan on and opened the window, and that was fine. Staff were nice.

The location of Whispering Woods is great - just off the highway and close to restaurants, grocery store, gas station and recreational activities (we sledded, skied and visited Timberline Lodge). The kids absolutely loved the pool and hot tub. We swam every day in sun, rain and snow. The showers there were so convenient to get the kids showered and dressed before we went back to our place - easy peasy. Cute, small playground to get the kids out for a bit with a small river hike just next door was a welcoming touch to our trip. The house was well-equipped with the basic needs. Be sure to bring butter, olive oil, spices, Tupperware, aluminum foil/Saran Wrap, etc because there wasn't any of it there. Our only gripe is the wifi and streaming televisions. Internet was spotty and you had to log in EVERY.SINGLE.TIME you used it which was frustrating as the password is not super easy. It would be helpful to indicate what the tv name is for streaming as there are TONS of streaming options but none of them connected. We had to call maintenance to get connected to Netflix but even when we were connected, it would not take the correct log in/password. They do offer DVD rentals at the front desk but ours froze halfway through so it was super frustrating. We were usually out and about during the day but we looked forward to a family movie night but no luck. I feel like in this day and age, streaming capabilities and internet is key. Otherwise, highly recommend!

Beautiful property, great parking, large quiet condo, great pool and hot tub, friendly staff, decent price. I just couldn't get past the air conditioning situation. The window a/c in the living room cannot cool the whole unit. The bedroom were very warm on the 90+ degree days we stayed. I'd give this place 5 stars, if not for the limited a/c. it would be great to stay in fall or spring when no ac is needed.

Time share community that we could reserve for just one night during our North Pacific road trip. Wish we could stay longer as the rooms were spacious with large kitchen and two bathrooms next to bedrooms.

Very roomy suite. No central air but there was a portable A/C unit in the living area. When we opened the windows at night we could consistently smell a thick smoke, like from a fire pit, even well after 11:30pm, it made keeping the windows open nearly impossible for sleeping.

Was told at the hot tub we needed to get out 2 minutes before closing so they could put chemicals in it….didn’t feel great. Also was very militant about check out time and even had them knock at 8:30 to see if we were out.

The property was very cleanly and well stocked. Our room was absolutely perfect and exceeded our expectations. Privacy and security were taken seriously. When we needed something from the front desk, they had it to us right away. The pool and playground were well maintained as well. Our only problem was an issue getting the cable to work in one of the bedrooms, but we had brought our own streaming equipment so it was a moot point. 10/10 would highly recommend. If you need groceries, I would recommend headed to Sandy, OR because the local grocery store was super expensive and not well stocked, but that's just advice, has nothing to do with the hotel at all 😅

I checked in late and there was only an emergency number to contact. The person that answered the phone was very helpful, but I was very nervous driving late at night wondering if I was going to be able to check in. Other than that everything was wonderful.

The customer service from the reception team was exceptional. The condo was well appointed and very spacious for the price. We can’t wait to come back again!

Excellent resort and close to Mt. Hood, approximately 30 minute drive to Timberline lodge. We stayed at the suite and it was clean, stocked, and spacious. Parking was up front. Nice backyard patio. Surprised to see washer and dryer in suite, which we used on the second day. Friendly staff. Highly recommend for families. We will definitely visit again.

It is in a beautiful location near many natural attractions and amenities. Highly recommend.

Pool/hot tub were great. Close to Timberline Lodge on Mt. Hood. Covered parking was a nice bonus.

Quiet and peaceful. Nice location for walking, close to restaurants grocery store etc.

Great location. Nice surroundings, peaceful, quiet. Very close to skiing. Inside the unit, there is a fireplace, pull-out couch, kitchen with dishes, and full-size fridge.

This place is AMAZING!!! We stay in Room B3 for two nights and two nights at the clubhouse townhouse and it was incredible!! Christine was very sweet and sooo helpful:) It was close to all the trails in mount hood. Very close to supermarket, cafe, …. Thank you Whispering woods and see you again ❤️

This place is amazing!! 5 stars and more!!! Very close to mount hood trails. Close to supermarket and some restaurants.Has everything we needed while hiking mount hood : Kitchen, washer/dryer, smart TV… We extended our stay and we will definitely recommend and come back again:) Thank you Whispering Woods❤️

Good amount of space for the price compared to the surrounding properties. Should provide more tea and coffee in the room, but other than that, everything else was great.

The place is very spacious, garage parking, swimming pool for kids and playground. Restaurants and store within the resort with reasonable prices.

This was such a cozy stay. The amenities this resort offers is beyond what I was expecting. The spa and sauna was a percent way to add to the relaxation of space. Loved having the ample space, and all the trails connected to the property. Restaurants, Coffeehouses, Grocery Stores, and Gas stations were all within minutes away. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Made you feel welcomed right when you stepped in. Has to be one of my favorite stays. I honestly never wanted to leave. Can’t wait to go back!
