Staybridge Suites Allentown West by IHG

We had a wonderful stay. It was very nice to have a living area and kitchen. It was nice to have a convenient parking lot to park in after our last hotels. We walked to the diner for dinner which was just a .1 mile walk. Everything was perfect!

This was my first time staying at Staybridge Hotel in Allentown, PA. I was there for a two-week extensive training and mostly out during my stay. However, I found the place and the room to be very functional and it had the right mix of furniture needed for my needs and the right amount of equipment such as cooking utensils, iron, and dryer. The laundry was free and that was great because we needed it. The front desk staff was excellent. They attended to all my requests, kept track of my packages and made sure I received them for which I am very thankful to them. Here are the following that the property can improve upon: 1. Housekeeping - they can make sure the garbage is taken out daily. 2. Cleanliness: the carpet on the property has a dirty feel to it. Also, the couches can have a better feel and I was reluctant to sit on them. overall it did not have a clean feeling. 3. Breakfast: I asked my brother to come to stay for the last night I was there and he got his room including the breakfast. When we went for breakfast in the morning there was hardly anything for the vegetarians. The breakfast staff simply said that they did not expect the amount of people that stayed over the weekend so they ran out of most items including eggs, yogurt, and milk.

Nice suite, good service, couldn’t help us get Internet access, nice afternoon reception, poor breakfast foods.

We stayed with our family of 3 plus Labrador. Pet fee was charged upon arrival and not part of the cost. It was worth the cost. Bed was comfortable. Daughter enjoyed using the indoor pool. We would stay there again.

Staff was very very nice. Breakfast was amazing. Room was amazing. Pool was small and got overcrowded.

Placed us in a dog friendly spot right by an exit so it worked out perfectly for potty times, it was convenient.

Overall the stay was good! It was clean, the staff were friendly, check in was easy. Complimentary breakfast was good with fresh fruit and different things daily. The pool was clean. Outside they had seating, a fire pit, and two grills. I would stay there again!

The hotel was great! Definitely staying here again ! The laundry / fitness area was not as clean as the rest of the hotel. One employee seemed overwhelmed maybe personal issues so tried to overlook it. Otherwise wonderful experience

It was clean and had friendly helpful stay. One unique feature was the social hour mom-wed

Washers and dryers didn’t work. Room was dirty in multiple places. Pets allowed and dog left a deposit on floor so my breakfast was ruined that day. Parking lot music was very loud one night. Guy serving breakfast was great. Left me check out late.

I stayed here in May 2025 and had to switch rooms due to ants, a stained mattress, and unsanitary conditions. The second room wasn’t much better—visible dirt, questionable stains, and a broken A/C unit. Housekeeping ignored the Do Not Disturb sign twice, once even trying to enter while I was inside. I also felt uncomfortable and pressured by a staff member who insisted on knowing the reason for my stay and wrongly charged me a pet fee, despite my dog being a clearly marked service animal. A manager did remove the pet fee and confirmed these issues, but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room is very outdated and dirty. The 6 person suite have 2 double bed and a single sofa bed. It can barely fit 5 people.

Very clean and staff were amazing.

We have stayed at this property twice in the past and it was wonderful! This time was terrible. Check in with Jose was great, he was friendly and welcoming. Our room however was not clean. There was something spilled on the bathroom floor, mold in the shower, the furniture was filthy and tired looking and the bed was sloppily made. We had kids above us that made a lot of noise all night and kept us up. Sadly we won’t be staying here again. This hotel went downhill quickly.

Friendly staff. Super clean room and lots of space and amenities in the room.

Shower liner had boogers on it. Couldn’t close the window shades in any room.

The bathroom was not really clean, there was hair in the shower and the kids seen a few daddy long leg spiders in the room.

The bathroom was dirty. There was about a 4 inch edge around the bathroom that had powder on it where the mop had failed to clean. Also, there was garbage under the sofa and Q-tips in the sofa

Pull out couch was disgusting. Room had a terrible odor.

Breakfast was wonderful. The room was very clean. It was an all around superior stay.

Typical suite hotel. Only downside: no dining area for 2 people. We usually find a small table or counter bar with 2 seats. Otherwise fine.

The room had an overpowering air freshener smell. The shower knob on the spout needs work, the tub didn't drain well and when tub surface is wet its extremely slippery and with nothing to hold onto its extremely dangerous. When checking out I reported these issues and clerk didn't seem to care.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite. It was perfect for traveling family. Breakfast was better than most hotels in which I've stayed. Staff was very friendly.

My room was nice, property is nice, i could hear the occupants in the room next door, and upstairs. Sounded like cattle running around the room...my bed was so soft that i kept rolling to the center, for gosh sakes, replace the mattress. I got 2 hours sleep with the noise and the terrible bed

Outstanding hotel! Staff is welcoming, pleasant and very helpful. Breakfast was very good. I love having a full-size fridge and freezer. The room is large and comfy, and I loved being able to spread out. I highly recommend this hotel!

Hotel is ok. We stayed suite it says 6 adults , but really for 5 people sofa bed is just for one person.

The property is beautiful, our room was big and nice, and the staff was helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here to visit our son and I would most definitely stay here again. The hotel is clean, the rooms are nice and accommodating for whatever your needs are. The complementary breakfast was nice and clean and had plenty of options to choose from. The staff was very helpful and nice.

Checked in and was greeting immediately by a friendly, professional staff member. Hotel was clean, safe, quiet. Next morning we went to the complimentary breakfast. Food was hot, fresh and absolutely delicious. The gentleman that was taking care of the breakfast was very attentive and ask if I wanted him to make me plain scrabble eggs due to my dietary needs. Overall this hotel was an outstanding place to stay.. I highly recommend this place.

We literally needed a place to sleep so we could be close to the PPL Center for Muhlenberg College commencement. We arrived late at night; I had messaged the hotel when I made the reservation to have them note the late arrival. They replied that it was taken care of. I called when we got on the road at 9:30pm just to reconfirm that we were guaranteed, and the front desk person was almost surprised by my doubt - "it's already noted in the reservation!" So, very on top of things. The night person was very friendly when we arrived. The room was newly renovated - very modern and tasteful. Comfy bed, for the relatively few hours we slept in it. Can't comment on breakfast - my husband had a blueberry scone he said was pretty good, plus some yogurt. I had asked him to get me eggs if there were any, so if I had a complaint it would be that the "egg maker was broken that morning" so there were no eggs. It happens. Great location - maybe 20 min from the PPL Center. I would absolutely stay here again!!

The location was good. Just a lot of closed restaurants around.

Good for a stop on the highway. The breakfast was better than typical.

Place is safe for families, Wawas is very close by, the place is very clean and up to date.

It was great . The beds were comfortable, it was very clean and the breakfast was delicious ! It’s only 13 minutes from Dorney park ! It was a great time for me and the family . Walmart was about 15 minutes away , which wasn’t bad either . I would definitely go back .

Good location. Cozy hotel and rooms. More seating in the breakfast area is needed. Soom rooms are updated and others are not. Could use a deep cleaning. Overall, enjoyed my stay.
