Pool was empty, room with bugs

Great friendly and efficient check-in. It’s an older style motel. All doors open to a parking lot which some may like in order to keep an eye on their car. They are in the process of installing new furniture and carpet. Most rooms all have been completed. Room was large and clean. Water pressure was excellent. Breakfast was enough to fill an empty stomach. Scrambled egg patty, white bread and bagels to toast, yogurt, cereal, juice, coffee, and waffles. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Large clean room. Huge pool. Was worried with all the semi traffic that it would be difficult to sleep. Had no problems with noise. Nothing to do around there but several places to eat. Would stay again.

Room was ok, but had a musty smell. Breakfast was ok. Hot choices was waffles (which didn't try) or wet eggs. Bagels were good with cream cheese & some yogurt. Coffee on the weak side. Also some cereal. Had a pool, which was nice, but no shade.

Absolutely brutal place to stay. They are "renovating" rooms i suppose, but it looks like a low budget operation. Furniture all over the parking lot, uncovered! Im guessing water damage isnt a thing here? The room is laughable. A/C is an old wall unit that barely works at all and definitely doesn't cool very well. The water is a nasty yellow with a stench that lingers. We had drad bugs in the bathroom and spiders crawling around. Not even going to try the breakfast as we are traveling and i dont want to die today. I cant believe they are charging anything over $50/night for this crap. Disgraceful

The listing said EV charging on site. It wasn’t on site, but next door. And it was only for Tesla EVs. We booked this property specifically because it listed EV chargers. Very unhappy.

The stay was fine. The hotel was in the middle of renovations which I knew nothing of, so the overall condition of the property was a bit cluttered with piles of desks and other items being thrown out scattered around.

It was advertised as having an EV charger. When we asked where the charger is, they pointed to an outdoor 110 outlet. AND would charge $25 to plug in. The breakfast was average. The room needed updated and was a bit grungy.

I always travel with a small vacuum. Good thing. The carpet here had crumbs near the bed, ramen noodles on the floor near the fridge. I ended up vacuuming the whole room. They have attempted to update things- newer furniture, bathroom sink and counter, bedding, but the bathroom tile was painted, the grout is falling out and the tub is gross. Wanted to use the pool but it was dirty. Breakfast was good.

Food cold, very limited. The room had flys, the phone didn't work so couldn't call front desk, the toilet didn't flush well and finally it was clogged. Any where u walked smelled of cigarettes.

The check in clerk was friendly, that was the only good experience we had staying at this Days Inn in Breezewood, PA. Needs major updating and cleaned. Carpet needs cleaned. Microwave was dirty. Coffee pot was dirty. Cobwebs on wall. Lampshades need attention. Hairdryer handle was sticky. Shower grout needed cleaned. Bathroom mirror needs replaced. My shoes were sticking to bathroom floor. Heater in bathroom was ancient, don’t know if it even worked. Would certainly not stay there again, and definitely not worth what they charged. Sorry, telling it like is was.

Towels were dingy, thin and stained

The room, bed sheets and, towels smelled musty. Bad enough it caused breathing issues and wheezing.

Road is next to the highway a very nosy lot of truck is going in a night. Have a bad smell on the room. Bathroom is not clean. Towel is not clean. Rest is not clean.

Room was perfectly clean and smelled fresh. Zero complaints and awesome check-in & check-out online made it super simple and quick!

The hotel is convenient to the highway. That's also the problem: it's an intersection of several highways into Breezewood with a stop light in front of the hotel so all the huge semi's, of which there many, brake and start up directly in front of the hotel. Very, very loud. They do a good job of cleaning the hotel, but it's very old and run down...the disinfectant smell in the room was very strong. If you just need an overnight place to sleep, and can deal with truck noise, the hotel is adequate.

The bed was ok. The pillows were lumpy. The coffee maker leaked. The heating system was noisy. The sink was slow to drain. Everything needs upgraded. This said, it was clean, quite and slept well.

Motel style, two-story buildings, sort of old but fine for a short stay. Nice breakfast. Two chairs outside each ground floor room. Pool looked nice, had no time to swim though.

AC would not cool the room, there were 2 clamps holding the laminate for the TV stand down as it looked like they just tried to reglue the top. Very noisy area and beds were extremely hard

The walls are too thin and at 2:30 in the AM the neighbors came home played loud music and then carried on for hour!

Outdated, noisy

Nice place. It is a motel and not a hotel. I didn’t realize that when I booked. I prefer to stay in hotels. Anyway, it was fine, clean and Starbucks nearby. Bath towels seen some use but all in all $80 for the night, I thought it was with the price.

This is a typical old motel, with some updating. Room door opens to parking space, which can be convenient when traveling. Room was spacious, nice bed, big tv, table & chairs, but had a strong disinfectant odor, possibly carpet cleaning? Bath was small, old, with limited updates, and a very low round toilet. Breakfast was standard motel fare. Unfortunately the Breezewood area seems to have fallen on hard times, with very limited dining, many closed restaurants and only fast food available

Room was large and very clean. Only complaint is bathroom--very small and low toilet vs the higher toilet. Bathtub was slippery and no handrail. This is a hazard and certainly one for older customers.

The man at the desk when I arrived was very friendly and welcoming. Noise was not a problem, despite the hotel's location on the main drag in Breezewood. I had no problem with parking. The room itself was okay for just an overnight stay before hopping on the turnpike. I wouldn't have wanted to stay there for any longer. The room looked okay--although the bathroom had an ugly, very, very old, non-working heater (?) built into the wall that clashed with attempts to modernize the decor of the room. The refrigerator was very loud at times, the toilet ran, and the bed was not very comfortable. I was disappointed in the breakfast, which featured some strange, apparently pre-frozen egg things.

Giving it 5 Stars because of Curtis - gentleman who was on duty that night. Wyndham had some system updates going on and our registration was not showing at hotels desk. Curtis was very apologetic about the whole situation. He pulled out paper work to do off line check in. then he called his manager (at 4 am) to inform the situation and completed the registration. He saved the night and I'm very thankful for his help and courtesy.

My room was not completely clran and stocked on day one. On day two no water in the facility at 5:10 AM until 5:30 and when I called the front desk no one answered for me to ask when water would be on for me to shower.

Booked at the end of a long travel day. Have stayed many times at Day's Inns. Pulled into hotel to find it was going through some construction. Not usually a big concern as we have stayed at hotels during their remodels before. Big pile of stuff in the check-in drive under a tarp as we pulled up. Asked to confirm we would get a pet free room due to allergies. Bed frame appeared to have been pulled off the wall and a different one glued in place. Not sure if either of these two issues contributed to the low musty odor. At check in we were instructed to pull up on the side by our room. Looking towards the main road we see a spray painted sign calling out "free" stuff from their remodel. There is a big open dumpster with stuff tossed in it. Pulling into a parking spot and notice several people, who appear to be on an extended stay, outside on the balconies. Several people stand and watch us as we park. Super uncomfortable feeling for our safety. We run up to check out the room and encounter additional people watching us and where we are going. Again safely concerns. We immediately went back to check in to share our concerns. No one onsite could issue a refund and no one would be available for two days to review the refund request. Refund was denied.

This was the old Best Western and it's not really changed much since they had it. No frills, for sure, but room was clean and bed was okay. We missed breakfast which was early. Also, no soundproof on doors - could hear everything outside our door when people were in their cars. Best part of this hotel is the location - EXTREMELY convenient to I-70 and PA turnpike.

If you’re walking it’s impossible to cross the highway to get to where the restaurants mainly are; Pizza Hut, Starbucks, etc as you CANNOT cross anywhere. There is a Sheets fuel station that has some conveniences.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and included a microwave and refrigerator. The hotel is conveniently located right off the interstate and is near restaurants, gas stations, The Gateway Plaza and one of the largest sports memorabilia stores I've ever seen. I would stay at The Days Inn again.

We had a good experience here. The room was clean, comfortable and affordable. Breakfast was sufficient although not alot of options. Hot egg patties, cereal, yogurt, bread, bagels, juices, milk, coffee. We would definitely choose to stay here again. Just for information, it is right next to a Sheetz and there is some noice with trucks depending which side of the hotel you are on. That did not bother us at all because we run a sound sleep fam on our phone. Overall, it was a nice reasonable place to stay.

I mean it is what it is! Besides the musky smell it was a very clean room. It is off the highway and there isn’t much here besides gas stations and hotels. If you need somewhere to just crash on a long travel day I would recommend staying here. It’s also right next door to a sheetz so if you need anything it’s within walking distance.

Well known location close to remote areas is an advantage. Parking can be congested near assigned rooms plus key cards ceased to function after 1 out of 2 prepaid nights.

Breakfast was disappointing. Waffle machine was broken. There was eggs but no protein.

The property was great for the price, clean and the staff helpful. Complimentary breakfast was useful but equipment was old and did not heat the food well. If they made sure the breakfast is hot then I would say great value for traveling and staying overnight. I will stay there again it was perfect for a warm, clean place to sleep.

Nice breakfast

It was solid value & clean. I was disappointed that the breakfast didn’t start until 7:00am. Breezewood seems to be a “stop along the way” kind of place, so I would have thought that they’d cater to people with places to be that want to get on the road early. Other Days Inns I’ve stayed at start at 6:00am.

We enjoyed our stay - my only complaint was that the breakfast didn’t have many options to choose from- other than that check in was easy and quick - the room was clean and a comfortable size. Overall pleasant stay

Poor rehab job. It wasnt dirty, just not rehabbed very well. Towels were stained though and old. Chipped paint outisde on the floors and stairs. Breakfast was poor. Basically the only hot item was round patty like eggs, and waffles. It wasnt cheap to stay there either. I woukd not return.

Staff was wonderful. Hot breakfast was not great Eggs were cold. No microwave. Coffee was not good.
