The staff was so friendly, I even overslept and called to see if breakfast was still out and I was able to come down and get a plate. They helped answer questions I had about the area. The market area had things in it that were great to see and that are actually useful when traveling. I enjoyed the hot tub and was happy to see they didn’t close it early because no one was using it. The bed was perfect for my liking and the pillows weren’t the typical hotel pillows that go flat. I’d defiantly recommend stopping here if you are in the area!

Hotel under renovation. Suite reserved and paid in advance not available at all. Hotel does not have suites. Pool and hot tub not open at all. Main reason we booked hotel. Rep sais had called Expedia more than once to update . Update has not been done. Hotel did have crib and provided it and extra bedding.

Confus iiiiiiiio on with expedia payment and hotel reciept of payment, extra busy at check in 8-9pm Sun night. Pool great, hot tub jets were cool but powerful. Some tile cracking handle area going into pool. Need a centipede catcher in pool area.

They just finished upgrading the place and it looks wonderful. The pool was nice and warm which my kids love and opens at 6 AM and closes at 11 which was very nice. They have a great continental breakfast and an excellent staff and it’s very convenient because it’s right off the highway. We stay on this property two different times of year and it never disappoints. I truly enjoy staying here.

Very disappointed, no sandwiches ,as advertised Hot tub down didnt know till we got there That was our main reason for booki ng there! Then they charged us twice even though their record only showed once wont stay there again

The remodel is excellent. Only 4.stars on the facilities because a couple of things are not available yet. But staff is very professional and friendly, the rooms.and common areas are clean, attractive, and useful

First they put us on the second floor and the elevator was broken. They never even offered a first floor room. We had lots of luggage to bring in and carrying it upstairs was terrible. Next we came back after a long day of hunting and we had no water. A heads up that they were doing renovations would have been nice. Hallways were filthy with dirt and debris. Being in the construction field I can tell you that there should have been tack mats to keep the dirt on the third floor. Very disappointing experience. My wife will be contacting you today regarding this experience.

The only reason I booked a room at this property was because before I made my reservation, I called the hotel to make sure the pool and hot tub was open. I was told they were. When we checked in the woman at the front desk told us hot tub was closed. That’s it. No idea where the pool was. We found the pool and the water was freezing. The whole room was freezing. Extremely disappointed. Our bathroom in our room was disgusting. We don’t even have enough towels and washcloths. I think I will stick to Hilton from now on. Pool or not!

The room itself was clean well kept. We used the hot tub, which was also clean. The soundproofing left a bit to be desired as you could hear guests in adjacent rooms. Highly recommend The Angry Goat nearby for dining.

The whole building is in desperate need of updating..very dirty. room was dirty, strands of hair everywhere..toliet was dirty..came to check in..no one at the desk..rang the bell 4 times..called out 3 times..rang bell again..( this all was in a time of about 15 minutes)..guy opened a door and said "2 minutes" and closed the door..when he did finally come back he was rude..i apologize for wanting to rent a room and making him made

We came into town just for one night to attend the Groundhog Day celebration. We were given little groundhog soaps upon check in, which was adorable. Our room was spacious and very nice. The bathroom wasn’t completely clean (small spill of something- maybe coffee- on the floor, a hair on the toilet lid, and a candy wrapper in the garage) but nothing worth getting upset about. Overall we had a great stay

Staff excellent. Room clean. Remodel being done piecemeal with old furniture put in the front parking lot?!? That looks trashy. Also, curtains in room are dusty from floor redo - that’s defeating the purpose of a redo. Bed and pillows are excellent.

First room, phone didn’t work “ wiring issue” coffee maker didn’t work” leaking issue” couldn’t connect to wifi “ connection issue” tv was digitizing and that was a “ cable issue”kids literally running and screaming down hallways alllll night.The bed had so many mattress toppers on it it was bunching under me. Also complained about being bitten. Changed my room next day. I swear Bigfoot was my upstairs neighbor.That room was a lot cleaner. Still too many toppers! STOP PUTTING THE ASHTRAY NEAR THE ENTRANCE!!!!! And for the love all that humane, get new mattresses!!

The hotel and room were very nice. We were, however, given an adjoining room. A family with young children were staying in the adjoined room. The problem was the noise coming from their room. They weren’t extra loud, but we could hear every sound they made. I recommend making sure you can get a room that is not adjoined with a door between. We got very little sleep.

Our room was clean and the bed and pillows were super comfortable. The breakfast was great too, especially the biscuits and gravy. My only suggestion would be to ask for third floor as the walls and ceiling were thin and we heard people beside and above us on the second floor.

Our first visit to the hotel was great but unfortunately on our return visit we were disappointed. The lift smelt of cannabis and when we got to our room it was so bad we had to ask to be moved. We had a child with us and the whole area was full of cannabis smell. The desk manager changed the room efficiently but we were very disappointed.

Landen that was at the front desk when we checked in was quick and efficient. He was very friendly and explained where the pool and hot tub were at and when breakfast would be served in the morning. He let us know to give him a call at the front desk if we needed anything. The room was clean and looked to be in good repair with a fresh coat of paint.

Arlene took my phone call early in the am and greeted when I arrived making sure I got a safe and clean upper floor room. Housekeeping Olivia mad an extra effort to make sure the room was ready. It was friday na di was tired from traveling all Tuesday. From it's location off of I-80 West this hotel may not look like much situated up on a hill away from traffic but the you get inside it is beautifully designed. I have stayed at several other Holiday Inn Express Hotels probably 10 times in the last 2 years. This location in Dubois PA is the absolute best. 5 Stars!!!

I did enjoy my stay at the Holiday Inn … staff were very good, room large and comfy, easy to find, parking good and breakfast had a good selection of items. The only downside is for dinner you basically need to drive … no sidewalks on the main road (highway) … but I did enjoy going to Box Car Brew Works … only a short distance away.

It was a pleasant clean mid price place to stay. I would recommend it. There wasn’t a lot that I wanted to eat at breakfast if I could make one recommendation, it would be to get rid of the pancake machine and replace it with a waffle machine.
