Hot tub did not work and the pool area was out of towels. Only 2 towels for the shower. Clean but a little “damp/musty” smell when first entering room. However staff was very nice and it was quite clean. Needs updated, painted, but still clean and good for an overnight stay.

We were in the area for a PSU football game. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly; the breakfast was the usual that you’ll find in a hotel at this price point. The picnic tables and other outdoor seating are a nice feature—unfortunately it was raining when we were there.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel while we were going to a wedding for a friend of mine. All the people that have helped us were very kind and caring, and I am very grateful for that. The continental breakfast was very good overall, but I think the apples in the fruit bowl could have had a little bit better quality to them. I like that there was coffee and tea and hot chocolate available 24 hours a day, and it helped perk my husband up. I like how long the pool was open. However, the pool water was too cold for majority of our stay and we could not get the jets in the Jacuzzi tub to go. Overall, we had a great time, and we would return if we would need to come back to the area for some reason.

Room was comfy. AC super rickety and loud, but grateful it worked. Breakfast started later than most hotel breakfasts (7am) We needed to leave at 7, and there was a crowd of workers and others (who also obviously needed to get going early) waiting right at 7. We were able to get a bite it, but we're almost late for our event. The coffee machine wasn't working either. Luckily we had our coffee in the room prior, but some folks were disappointed. Breakfast attendant was very kind and helpful to everyone. The hot tub in the pool area was not the one in the picture on the website. It was a home whirlpool unit, and there was no where to turn on the jets. Basically a hot 2 person bathtub. Probably not staying here next year for this athletic event. Breakfast and spa are essential for us.

Nice area. Overall, we enjoyed the stay. The front desk person was not overly friendly and the hallway carpets had a musty smell. The outside area was very nice and breakfast was good. The breakfast staff was excellent. The pool was nice. The hot tub jets did not work correctly. They were too weak. Great location to many things.

There was an exhaust fan on the roof over our room 324 it ran all night the floor smelled like feet and was dirty we booked for 2 nights stayed one and let the next morning the Breakfast was OK but they really should not put the bread with the eggs they cross -contaminate for people that have Celiac aka Gluten allergies

We've stayed at this location before and in the past it has been great for our needs, but this time we were disappointed. When we got in the room there was a terrible odor--not sure if it was the carpet or AC, but it was very overpowering. I went and bought an odor eliminator spray to help with the smell but it didn't do much. Our bathroom shower/tub was not cleaned and the bathroom floor was also sticky. We had planned to spend time at the pool with our kids and stay at the hotel some, but just didn't feel comfortable and decided to spend our time elsewhere. I would have cancelled altogether and went elsewhere but I couldn't find other availability in the area we were visiting. On a positive note, the ladies running breakfast kept everything well-stocked and fresh and that was very much appreciated.

Being born and raised in Altoona, this is the place we always stay when we come home for family reunions, funerals, weddings, etc. We have noticed the property seems to be wearing down. I was surprised to see the black mold in our shower and the air conditioner is super loud and made a rumbling noise all night. Other than that, most of the staff is friendly and we’ll keep on staying here because it feels like our Altoona home when we visit.

Fleas! We had to move to another hotel when we discovered the room was FULL of fleas. While the hotel did find us another place Im shocked we havent been comped for the stay. In addition, we had to run around, spending time to find fleas spray, and ruined one of our pieces of clothes trying to clean it rapidly.

Hotel was fine and was comfortable. It is a bit aged. some things were a bit worn, but functionable. Nothing exceptional about. The workout room was minimum at best. One treadmill one stationary bike and a very cheap weight station. The hotel suited my needs. just needed a place to sleep while traveling.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was well supplied, quiet, and comfortable. Appreciated that worship was available in-house on Sunday. I didn’t use the pool or eat breakfast, but they both looked enticing. Suggestions for improvement… recaulk tub and clean in-room carpet. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

ItThe check in started well and the gentleman was courteous and helpful. Breakfast ok as advertised. All down from there. Room access cards terrible. Beds a disaster. Too Firm and can feel springs. None of this made any better if delayed at front desk while receptionist takes smoke break. Last time for us at this place.

We always stay here as a halfway point on a regular road trip. The breakfast is good, plus there’s lemon water and tasty cookies in the lobby. Staff members are always friendly and the rooms are clean and well-stocked. Check in is easy every time.

The hair dryer didn't work and though we told them right away it was bad they did not send someone to repair or replace it during the 3 days we stayed. The shower curtain magnet was lost so water tended to flood the bathroom floor is you weren't careful. But these was the ONLY negative thing. Everything else was WONDERFUL! Clean comfortable, quiet room with great TV, refrigerator and microwave and a coffee maker with tea and regular & Decaf coffee. Endless Hot water. Very complete breakfast buffet. The hot tub and heated pool were very nice and we used them a lot. I would definitely stay here again!

The staff is great. This is the 2nd time that I’ve stayed here while doing business in Holidaysburg. It’s very nice to be able to walk to grab dinner after work. The location is very convenient to the highway & Holidaysburg. The staff is super. This will be my go to spot to stay when in that area.

There is a creek running on the back side of the building with picknick tables and benches and was a nice view out our window loved that we could walk to a grocery store and 2 restaurants also in the parking lot

The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good with eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy as well as the usual muffins, cereals, toast, waffles and fruit. The lady in charge of the breakfast room was so efficient at keeping everything stocked up as well as being very friendly and helpful. Marzoni's restaurant across the parking lot is a good place to eat.
