Convenient location, very clean, lovely pool.

Pool area is hard to beat!

Our room was clean and bigger than expected. There was a wedding the night of our stay, and our room was quiet. The pool and hot tub were a really nice bonus to our stay.

Located right near lots of shopping & dining options. Easy access to the freeway. Rooms are very spacious. They have an indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna. 24 hour gym. Downsides were no continental breakfast and our tv wouldn’t work.

First time at Courtyard Marriott and definitely would stay again. Check in was easy and room was perfect.

Lost power 3 times within my 15 hour stay. Bathroom was dirty, pool area grout was black. Broken doors in the hallway. Carpet terribly stained. Overall very dirty.

Very disappointed!! Upon check in had to put a credit on the account for extras. But the worst part was getting off the elevator in complete darkness with no AC in the hall as well. The maids said it had been that way for the last month. NO one at the front desk mentioned it!! This is NOT safe for a female traveling alone!! or for anyone else for that matter!! When mentioned at check out they weren't aware that was happening!! would NOT stay at this Marriott. I chose to stay at the Marriott because every other one I've stayed at was wonderful. This one was the complete opposite!! Totally unacceptable!!!! Deeply disappointed!!!!!!!

Had to park too far away from the entrance when we got back from dinner. Other than that, everything was excellent.

By far the best hotel I ever stayed at…..The rooms are amazing….!!!! The pool,jacuzzi and a sauna….!!! This place is priceless

Everything was good except the Room was extremely hot when we got there,and after we left for the day then returned it was hot again.. also, there was mold around the wall AC,and the shower shelfs though the rest of the room was immaculate.

This hotel has a great, central location, which was especially convenient for getting to Presque Isle since I spent most of my time in the area at the beach. The room itself was nicely decorated and had a classy feel, but unfortunately, there were several issues that made the stay less enjoyable. The bedskirt was noticeably stained, and the AC unit didn’t work properly and made a loud whispering noise like it was seizing up each time it began to run. On my final morning, a strong raw sewage smell began coming from the bathroom and sink area, which was a bit concerning. Even worse, I discovered the water coming out of the sink felt slimy while brushing my teeth, which was incredibly gross. I mentioned all of this to the front desk when I checked out, and the attendant was very apologetic and said maintenance would be sent up immediately. Still, the smell was so awful it made me nauseous, and I was honestly just glad to be leaving. There were also some design oversights that made the stay less comfortable. The lighting near the bathroom sink and room entrance was very dim, and surprisingly, there was no full-length mirror in the room. As a woman traveling, that made it frustrating to get ready. Overall, while the location and room aesthetics were nice, the maintenance issues and lack of basic room features made this a disappointing stay, especially for a Marriott-branded property.

Hotel is tired, carpets are filthy and the whole place badly needs refreshing and renovation. Bed is not comfortable.

The room was very clean & comfortable. Loved the firm bed. Unfortunately, only a 4-star rating due to no free breakfast. If I'd realized this before booking the reservation, I would not have done so, I will avoid Marriott properties in the future for this reason.

Friendly staff. Room was large and clean. Unfortunately, the bathroom sink is not located in the bathroom, which makes for a noisy morning when hubby shaving. Carpets throughout the hotel could use a good shampoo.

The Lobby is new and renovated, the rooms however are old and outdated. They appear to be 20 years old. To the point that the tubs just look dirty no matter how much you try and clean them. The carpets in the hallways are worn and dirty. I bought the room with the jetted plain but it was so crusty and dirty that you never want to use it.

It was a great stay overall. The bed was extremely comfortable. It wasn’t worth the price in my opinion though, for the price, I think a small breakfast should be included. I could have stayed near the lake for almost the same price. It was really dirty in our rooms too. But the front desk lady was extremely nice!

The hotel is definitely getting dated and I doubt Marriott leaves her name on it for long. Too many things are broken, and it's just looking dull all around as; n old

Clean, tidy, well maintained. The only complaint is that when i opened the door to my room it was about 90 degrees it took about 2 hours w the door wide open to the balcony to get it cooled off even w the heat off.

Wifi didn’t work and shower was barely luke warm

Attractive hotel, for size could use more parking. Room was clean, well stocked with basics like towels—plenty, regular glasses (I detest plastic), TV difficult to use. Beds were quite comfy, lots of pillows. Nice and quiet. Good stay.

It was convenient off the interstate. Many restaurants to choose from. The room was spacious and clean. Nice for an overnight.

The staff was amazing . Friendly , kind and understanding. The room was fair at best. Toilet flushed at times. The air conditioner was very noisy and kept shutting off . When this happened, the room was stifling.

The Marriott's bath towels are bigger and better quality than most hotels. They provide several more than the norm. The air conditioner quickly responded to temperature changes. The sheets are also a higher quality and super comfortable. The jacuzzi tub in the room was the main attraction for my stay. I feel they need a better cleaning protocol between quests. The mini fridge was mini, and not operating correctly. The brand they choose only cools for 2 hours straight before it turns off.

Giant pillows which prop your beck up too much. No option other than this. Bed was too soft.

This place has a lot of potential but is showing it's age. The shower looks outdated and took a very long time to warm up. The air conditioner has a motion sensor so in the middle of the night it turns off and the room gets very hot. The pillow are old and basically flat when you lay on them. It is time to update the bedding, shower and AC.

We loved the evening shift counter lady. She made right what was wrong, very friendly and very efficient.

Hotel was good. Pool was great for kids. Service was terrible. The hotel was out of the room we booked (2Qs), so they gave us the penthouse. Sounds great, until the next day when they made us (family of 5 with small kids) move rooms because they forgot a wedding had booked the penthouse. Our new room wasn't ready, so we had to wait in the hall until housekeeping sorted it out. Was comped with $10/day coupons that the cafe didn't know how to redeem. Cafe hours and advertised discount prices were not honored. All in all was a frustrating stay.

I had difficulty with check-In, my name was not on the system, I was on hold for 45mns before somebody answer the phone to straighten out the problem, this is not acceptable.

I had a four night stay at the Garner hotel and each day I asked for my room to be cleaned and it never was. I had to ask a second time each day just to get them to take the trash.

Easy check in with upgrade

First off, we absolutely love the Courtyard by Marriott properties. I always try to find one in the area we are staying while traveling. This location is right next to the freeway, all sorts of shopping and dining. It is a fairly busy area, so getting around takes some time. But from the moment we checked in at the front desk till the day we checked out, all the staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and qualified to do their respective jobs. This location is beautifully decorated, extremely clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The room was huge and had everything we needed. I will never stay at another brand of hotel again when I travel to this area.

Stayed 3 nights and never got housekeeping. Reads full service and daily housekeeping on website. Ask manager after first night and he said it was every other day rooms are cleaned but after we came back the next day they still hadn't touched our room. Tiles are were broken on the bathroom floor. Just overall not a good look or service.

The expectation was not met. For what we paid we could have stayed at a much nicer place. The food we got for breakfast was terrible. The location was good. I will not hstay again. I booked this property blindly.

The hotel was very comfortable, room was very spacious. The lighting in the room could have been better, however. The hotel's cafe was understaffed - waiting in line 15 minutes attempting to place an order ended up being not worth the wait. I went elsewhere for breakfast.

Would have liked a dining area for dinner on site. Bistro closed too early. After a beach day, would have been nice to have dinner. Staff very friendly and courteous. Check in employee Was very friendly and welcoming. Her name escape me- Rauna or something such as. Ty

Hotel was great for the weekend. Great location, clean. Front desk staff were great ! The fridge in our room was broken so we really couldn’t use it. The person working in the cafe was not very pleasant but overall a good experience.

I did not like that they didn't accept cash... Total crap..we would have ate there and bought more things if they took cash.. also our refrigerator did not chill and we had no hot water
