The motel is located in a very beautiful surrounding. It has many buildings and many types of rooms to choose from. Plenty of parking space available. The breakfast provided is great. There is a excellant Italian restaurant across the street. The dishes comes in large portion. This motel is highly recommanded.

Typical for Red Roof for the night. But - The parking lot was bumpy with many pot holes. The Building we were in had a strong terrible carpet cleaning odour which was overpowering. We choose RR as an easy economy stay with our dog because it had no pet fee which we appreciate.

When we arrived the front building where check in was had no power. We thought the hotel was closed! The man at the desk was very helpful and apologetic. We got to our room, which was on the second floor after walking up a slippery, unshoveled metal stair case. The room had mold and bugs. We stayed the night but both of us woke up with stuffy noses and itchy throats. Probably from the mold. Rooms need better cleaning put in place. Free breakfast had little options.

Walked into the room it smelled like mildew. The bathroom was horrible. Tub looked like it was through a battle. Chipping paint. Slippery floors. The furniture was falling apart. Especially the desk. Bugs in the bathroom and the rug looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in a week. Oh and the refrigerator…. The rails for the inside of the fridge were laying on the floor. I definitely will not be staying here ever again and I might do my best to have it shut down. !!!! Absolutely disgusting

When we arrived the sheets on both beds were dirty. When I called the front desk I was told the the cleaning staff was through for the day and they would take care of it first thing tomorrow morning. Slept on top of the blankets. The next day we got back to the room that evening, nothing was done in the room except the wet towels from the floor were folded and put back on the shelf. I went to the front desk and was given new sheets for the bad which I had to make myself. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Red Roof.

Pros: The room we had was HUGE. It was basically a little apartment which we loved. Free wifi. Breakfast from 7-10. The waffles were sooo good!! And the ladies who checked up on us during breakfast were so sweet. This hotel is in the middle of nowhere so no loud commotion. No traffic to get there and there’s a few food options. Beds were comfortable. Cons: The blankets, walls, and curtains all had red splatter stains. I’m not going to make any assumptions but it’s still gross. We’ve attempted to go the office a few times and most of the time there was no staff there. When we went to get towels the front staff thought we were another room and refused to give it to us and when we told them they had the wrong room/people they reluctantly gave us the towels but with suspicious looks. Only one TV remote worked. And the bath tub was a bit dirty. I know that it seems like there’s more negative than positive but for the price this place was great! Besides that one instant staff is very nice and the location is very good.

We had a whole suite: queen bed, LR area with kitchenette & pull out couch, for just over $100 for one night over Labor Day Weekend. PROS: air conditioning/heat/hot water are plentiful; rooms were spacious; staff was super friendly; plenty of parking; free breakfast included; handicapped friendly accommodations available NEEDS IMPROVEMENT: the rooms had been cleaned, but in corners there were a couple of dead bugs, like beetles or something from “the wild” outside; the bed made was creaky; we had reserved a king but had to settle for a queen because the king room didn’t have a working tv; I believe we had suite 107, which we didn’t realize until the next morning that the lower 100 suites on the other side of the building were were somewhat above our room, so before 8am we were awakened by the sound of chairs being moved and vacuums being run; continental breakfast is good for grab and go, but if you want to sit and have a meal, a few more options would help, such as a warming tray of bacon or sausage. All in all it was convenient for where we needed to be (White Haven) and we would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Convenient location, the suite room was a fantastic size with a living room/kitchenette and a very large separate bedroom with king bed and great size bathroom, good breakfast included, all for a very reasonable price, we were very pleasantly surprised after reading some of the reviews when booking the reservation, ended up being a good choice, it's not the Marriott but it was quite nice for the price, we were pleased

Honestly the room/suite was very big but it looked like a landlords special. Bad paint job, odd electrical outlets (one in the bathroom preventing you from turning the heat lamp switch on), painted bathtub that was pealing off… over all odd. The room was clean and it was a place to sleep for the night. Continental breakfast was ehhh looking and crowded so we went somewhere else to eat.

Our stay at the hotel served its purpose - somewhere to stay for a night. While the room and bathroom were clean, the furniture was dated and worn. Both rooms showed evidence of water damage on the walls and/or ceiling (bubbling paint, wallpaper peeling). Based on the air gap around the door, it might be rather chilly in the room during the winter. The breakfast room was clean and the food, while basic fare, was satisfying.

I thought the name Red Roof Inn carried a name thought was friendly, inviting and welcoming. While the daughter was pleasant when I checked in, the staff acted like I was bothered him. The attention to detail was lacking (ex. There was a light out at the front desk and I pointed it out half joking and he said oh well guess still stand over there anyways.). When I got to my room, the back of the door was dirty. There is a gap underneath the door and the sink didn’t work. The towels were not neat and the bathtub was dirty and on top of that the TV wasn’t working at all. I responded to the text and they said thank you for your review. Please call the front desk And the phones weren’t working. The parking lot area was not tidy and part of the sign was broken. I do not recommend staying there.

This Red Roof Inn in Hazleton, PA was on the rundown side. We checked in but were unable to stay as the room we were assigned could not be opened with the key card. Card was re-keyed and still would not work. Master key didn't work either. Asked for another room, only one available had a broken and completely missing window. We declined and went elsewhere. Management seemed indifferent to our request for a refund. Very disappointed in our experience with this Red Roof Inn.

Red Roof Inn Hazleton, PA was awful. My sister and I (two sisters) checked in and went to our room. As we approached the room, we observed the window next to the door had been broken making it very easy for someone to break in. We immediately went to the front desk to express our concern and that we did not feel safe and would not feel safe staying and would appreciate a refund. The gal at the desk was busy and advised us that we had to contact the manager (Sonnie) in the morning. So. Ie was extremely disrespectful not only towards us but also the owners that had the last name of Patel. When we asked how to contact the owner and their name, she replied, “Patel, they’re all Patels”. Extremely rude and disrespectful. Hotels.com tried contacting her several times with no response. Therefore we were not granted a refund. Awful.

BEWARE! Front desk staff were kind and welcoming. Lobby was very nice. But that was just a facade. The hotel rooms were less than desirable. The 1st room they gave us was in a building way in the back near a dilapidated old ballroom. Outside our window was a pile of old mattresses and trash. Bathtub was peeling, tile and caulk moldy. 2nd room was across the parking lot in a run down building. There was a hole in the wall above the bed, stained carpet and a 1/2 bathtub that again was peeling, moldy and had an odd odor. We brought this to the attention of the front desk and told them we wouldn’t be staying. The clerk said she would talk to management and issue a refund. No refund was issued. We received an emailed check out receipt for the full amount because they have a non-refundable cancellation policy. Under the circumstances of the condition of the rooms we were offered, I feel a refund was in order. We chose to eat the cost rather than staying in either room and risk getting sick.

There was a hole in the wall above the bed, stained carpet and a 1/2 bathtub that again was peeling, moldy and had an odd odor. We brought this to the attention of the front desk and told them we wouldn’t be staying. The clerk said she would talk to management and issue a refund. No refund was issued. We received an emailed check out receipt for the full amount because they have a non-refundable cancellation policy. Under the circumstances of the condition of the rooms we were offered, I feel a refund was in order. We chose to eat the cost rather than staying in either room and risk getting sick.

Sunny was so nice and didn’t hesitate to help me get my cat who was hiding under the mattresses and wouldn’t come out. She lifted the mattresses off of the bed and my cat then ran out of the bedroom where I was able to catch him and put him I his carrier. Sunny was wonderful!!!

Hotel itself its old but well maintained and Sonny the manager is a class act, but a manager can only do so much without competent or enough staff, we were left the whole weekend without housekeeping or at least a light service of any kind, we had to clean the place ourselves and get our own towels from the front desk, as for the other clerk or attendant I don’t think he could care less and sometimes he seemed irritated that he had to deal with us. Other than that the hotel is pretty comfy and Sonny went out of her way to help us out with Expedia’s messups ( they booked us a suite that was not available) the other staff was nonexistent or very apathetic.

They put my family in a building way in the back that made us feel very unsafe. The room was musty smelling. I had to buy sanitizer spray just to feel comfortable. Unfortunately we had no other place to go and had to hunker down.

The hotel was pet friendly, with a nice area around the hotel where they could walk. Some of the nearby properties are not in good repair. This is not Red Roof Inn's responsibility.

The breakfast was simple but tasty and convenient. The facility was beautiful, I'm not sure what the location was prior to a motel, but the separate buldings each housing a group of rooms made our stay unique and private, much more like a studio apartment. Great location for the price, 10 minutes from 80, 5-10 minutes to a plethora of shopping, quick eats (or buffets and restaurants), and downtown hazelton. Some regular maintenance (upgrading fixtures, paint, and some water damage) and upgrades would make this property even more comfortable. But I would stay again.

There was mold all over the bathroom ceiling, and the bathroom did not smell clean. They seem to be putting all guests for that evening in the 300 building and right across the parking lot in the 200 building there were movers unloading furniture from 8:00 p.m. until midnight so it was very noisy. The property is not at all convenient to Highway 81. The parking lot has lots of potholes and standing water. I would not stay here again.

The hotel is right on the main street and close to shopping and restaurants. The hotel itself is dated and needs refurbishing. The windows can be opened to let fresh air in in but they are layered with thick paint that is flaking off. The bed is very comfortable, but the AC system is loud.

Reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area. Front desk person very friendly. The room was mostly updated and they put us in a more quiet area at my request. However, there was a bit of noise from the hallway as people came and went slamming their doors. Overall, we'd probably stay here again. The drive up to the hotel was beautiful!

When we arrived the front building where check in was had no power. We thought the hotel was closed! The man at the desk was very helpful and apologetic. We got to our room, which was on the second floor after walking up a slippery, unshoveled metal stair case. The room had mold and bugs. We stayed the night but both of us woke up with stuffy noses and itchy throats. Probably from the mold. Rooms need better cleaning put in place. Free breakfast had little options.

Clean, quiet, comfortable, and economical room, on lovely wooded property. Welcoming and efficient staff, to human guests and pets. Breakfast is abundant, and there is large refrigerator and microwave in room. I also appreciate the history of this property, having grown up in Hazleton.
