We booked this hotel for the pool since we have little kids. When we checked in Friday, the heater was not working in the pool room, and since it was enclosed with glass to the outside, it was frigid. The room was not habitable, and the pool water was not above 65. We said something to the front desk, who responded that they would look into it. The room did not recover to temp until two days later, by then we were able to check out. This was disappointing as I paid extra for a hotel with a pool so that my children would be have this amenity during down time. Rooms were clean. Lobby and cafe were nice. No major complaints outside of the pool, however, this was a huge disappointment.

I would usually give the property five stars across the board. The problem was they were redoing the front entrance and it was inconvenient to go in the side doors. That is the only complaint I have.

Clean room, up to date, I didn’t feel like i was out of place. Felt right at home. Facility was nice. My family used the indoor pool and gym. There was also a fire pit outside. Would stay here again! Also right across from plenty of shopping and sesame place.

Hotel was beautiful, nice size room, big tv, amenities and was quiet. We were surprised to see we had a balcony that gave natural light into our room, we really enjoyed that. The elevator was quick as well and our room was across from the laundry room. However, only downside was that the swimming pool was too cold for my infant and toddler to enjoy and water looked dirty and cloudy. Also, breakfast options were very limited, luckily the hotel was surrounded by lots of stores, and fast food places. Room service none, we were one day without toilet paper, we had to drive to the local convenient store to get more.

Instead of a weekend of family memories of Sesame Place, we came home with bed bugs. We were a family of 6 adults,2 young children and 2 infants. We were in 3 rooms 2 on one floor and one on a different floor. The families on the same floor all got the bed bugs. The Marriott management was notified and they refused to accept responsibility. So I am writing this review. To reiterate we only stayed one night and went no where else in between the hotel and our homes. To say that this has been a horrific experience that we are still dealing with is an understatement. The bites are extremely itchy not to mention the hassle of having to clean everything when we got home and realized what was happening. Do not stay at this hotel.

The room I stayed in had ants and trying to talk to a manager i was told he was on salary so he dont have to come in. I was also told i can sign up for some type of package deal and the will give me points towards another stay but why would i stay again if i can't talk to a manager about a bug problem. This was not a good stay. I had to stay in a room filled with a bunch of ants and my daughter and kids were bit by these ants. I will not be staying here again. I did not accept the deal that they were giving me and had no choice but to stay there.

I was in the room for a few minutes and went into the bathroom and when I turned on the light I found a roach. We went downstairs to the desk and all I said was " I would like my room switched" They didn't ask me my room number or why I wanted to switch. After I got the new room key I said " I wanted my room switched because we found a roach on the floor in the bathroom" They also don't have any big tables for you to sit at and eat if you order food from somewhere other than their food. We had to sit on the couches with our kids to eat.

Location is great, not in a congested area, parking is easy and convenient. Grounds are clean, lobby area is quite nice and clean, staff was professional and kind. The room… seemed like it belonged to another hotel completely and didn’t it represent all the other nice things I named. The smell had to have been from smoking but it wasn’t someone smoked in there once, it smelled like a cheap motel room and bothered my asthma, the carpet - I shutter to imagine the filth from what was visible to the eye and likely a contributing factor to the smell, stains on the beds (not mattress), stains on the carpet. Outdated a/c-hearting unit. I couldn’t sleep with the smell. Bathroom was clean. I did request another room and the staff quickly and politely accommodated but the new room had the same smell and the bedside lights didn’t work at all. Disappointed in the room because I seek out Marriott Bonvoy and Courtyard Marriott Hotels because they’re always so nice and I’ve been in many locations. For $200/night, I expect better.

Staff was friendly ! Pool was open which was super convenient since our 3 year old loves the pool! Room was great until we noticed in the morning that the sheets were stained with blood. I always do a thorough check but we were extremely tired from a long day at sesame and the pool and dinner right after. The room overall was perfect and clean.

We enjoyed our stay. Its so close to alot of stores, restaurants (eat in and take out), activities. The room was clean but they did miss a few spots in the bathroom but no biggies. We had a balcony room and it was nice. I recommend this hotel. 🙂

Housekeeping tried to enter my room while we were sleeping. I was very upset I told the front desk and asked to make sure my room would be cleaned and it was not. Besides the scare of someone entering no one came back. In addition we needed to leave early for a family emergency and the front desk clerk was sleeping and not helpful at all. Very disappointed!!

Avoid this place. Worst Marriott and customer service I've ever experienced at a hotel!! I booked through Expedia and called the hotel(around 10pm) to tell them I would be checking in late. They mentioned it was no problem as they have 24/7 service. When we got there the lights were off. The front desk receptionist did not have a name tag or anyway for us to know he worked there. He immediately told me my reservation was canceled as it was the next day(2am) without even asking my name or confirmation. This is absolutely ridiculous because we paid for the night up until 11am the next day. He claimed his name was Devonte and told us to leave that he could not service us. We didn't argue and left. This hotel was unsafe and unprofessional. I called Expedia for a refund and they denied it due to the Devonte claiming to be a manager and saying law enforcement was involved and we harassed the front desk. None of this happened. I spoke with the real manager Paras he said to speak to Expedia for a refund. He didn't even apologize on behalf of his employee. I told him to check the cameras to clearly see no law enforcement was involved and no harassment was done from our end. Disgusting. Avoid this place. Worst customer service. Never experienced anything like this. I will be contacting Marriott corporate to have them review the camera footage and the unprofessionalism of this location and Devonte.

We were told one thing by a representative at Marriott's main number and conflicting information from the front desk, regarding having a room next to my family. There was a dog in the room next door. He started barking at 5am and barked until after 8am. Called front desk. No help. Husband went to front desk. He was told there was no manager on duty. I called the number for the general manager. No answer. Told we could not use the fire pit in the courtyard because there was no manager with the key to turn it on. It is advertised on the website. Overall, the staff was not knowledgeable or accommodating.

I was very disappointed when I showed up at checkin time and my room was not ready until an hour and a half later. Given I had two exhausted toddlers this was a nightmare having to wait this long in the lobby for our room to be ready. The outside was in need of the grass being mowed and the patio furniture did not have the cushions on the chairs so as a guest on a nice day the outside patio area was not well kept for or ready for guests to enjoy. Although the front desk lady was very nice and trying her best to help make light of our unfortunate circumstances, I believe management could have done better with resolving this issue.

I check into my room and it is 85 degrees in there. I attempt via both window unit display and wall thermostat to adjust the temperature and it appears to be malfunctioning before the display shuts down completely. I go down to the front desk and explain the situation and they send me back up to my room where a maintenance person will allegedly come assist shortly. After ten minutes or so of sweating in my room I go back down and ask if the maintenance person is on their way. The man says he will come up and take a look himself. Obviously useless as it is simply broken. He says he will send someone right away but I am like I can't really stay in there I will wait in the lobby. TWENTY minutes go by (now over half an hour after I checked in) and finally another gentleman FINALLY offers to change my room. Thank God. Should not have taken that long, they should have just moved me immediately. I bet if I wasn't a young woman traveling alone I would have been instantly switched. And the hotel doesn't even include breakfast. Second gentleman did call my new room after to check in on everything which was nice. He was a taller fellow and the shorter man was unhelpful.

Nice hotel. Very clean and modern. What you expect from this brand. Wish they offered free continental breakfast. You can pay for breakfast, but doesn’t start till 7:30 AM. That doesn’t work very well for some of us traveling blue collar guys.

The location is perfect for a family trip to Sesame Place. Parking is ample, check in was smooth, rooms were immaculate and well-maintained. The in-hotel dining leaves a lot to be desired ... very high priced, mediocre fare. This is especially true of the $17 dollar a person breakfast buffet in a cramped conference room. On the whole though, it was an absolutely safe, clean, comfortable location for our 2 night stay.
