It was conveniently located near the highway, and Jim Thorpe downtown was only 10 minutes away. The pool was the reason we chose to stay there because we had a small child who needed to expend energy before bed. The pool was open until midnight, which was a plus. Too many close at 8 PM, so there is nothing to do after dinner. Also, I highly recommend Cindy's Deli, only 6 minutes away, if you need a bagged lunch for the train or a rafting trip. It was a a great find.

Elevator stalled out twice with us on it, we got off completely and third time the elevator finally worked. Room was extremely warm when we entered turned on the air conditioner and it barely blew any air took several hours before it cooled off.Very noisy guests in hallways at all hours. Motorcyclists outside at 8am roared their bikes for over 20 minutes before departing, so i didn't need a wake up call. I had hoped to sleep in on our last day of vacation but the noisy guests at the property ruined that idea.

The queen suite was very spacious. We loved having the separate seating area with TV. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was nice and the water in shower and sink was hot. Loved the massage shower head. We like having a frig and microwave when we travel to save money on lunches. The breakfast was good and we liked the indoor pool and hot tub very much.

The staff was most helpful. However, the pool water was very cold. We stayed a weekend - Fri, Sat, Sun. On Saturday we went to Blue Mountain. After returning that night, all I wanted to do was soak in the hot tub for about 10-15 minutes. However, it seemed there was a party going on in the pool room. There were about 10-12 women in the hot tub drinking. There were about 8-10 others either in the cold pool or just sitting around. They had music playing loudly. This pool area should be shared by all and should not be a drinking area. I was most annoyed.

Very pricey for the level of service and amenities offered. Room was clean, but carpet should have been replaced long ago. Very stained and not a good first impression upon opening the door!

The floor was covered in stains and looked very dirty. My wife and I wore our shoes all the time because of the dirty carpet. I was unaware that the hotel allowed pets which was my mistake. My wife suffered from allergies due to cats previously being in the room. Bathroom was very clean as was bed linens. Breakfast was very good and clean.

I have stayed at this hotel for the second time. The first time I had a good experience, so I chose it again for my trip and booked two nights. However, this time my stay was not pleasant. On the first night, I couldn't sleep well due to the noisy air conditioning vent. On the second night, I had to turn off the air conditioning, even though it was quite cold at night during this season. I just wanted to get a good night's sleep.

Room was a bit dated and had a bad musty smell. HVAC filter was filthy so I imagine the smell came from that. WiFi was painfully slow. Otherwise the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. A lot of noise from the guests directly above but some people just have no home training.

Other than the highway noise, I would give this hotel a 10/10! Connor at the front desk was very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was better than others I’ve experienced. The room with two queen beds was larger than I expected, a welcomed surprise!

Staff was either excellent or below average. It depended on who served you at the front desk. There was one young lady with rainbow colored hair who was always out standing. The breakfast staff was very nice and the area clean and the breakfast very good. Be carful about the room you get. One side is next to the expressway and it gets noisy starting around 5:00 am with trucks. Overall it’s an okay property; clean, overall good service, conveniently located. Also, the bed in 106 needs to have its box springs replaced because something is broken inside them and the support is not good at all.

It was so very nice!! Spacious room, big bathroom, 2 closets with lots of hangers, 2 tvs in separate areas of the room. Very comfortable. Staff was really nice, friendly and helpful. Hot tub and pool were nice. Breakfast had a lot of options. Clean hotel and room.

It was amazing. I knew we would have a late check -in so I call the hotel itself. Linda at the desk was great. She actually got me checked in so I didn’t have to worry about our room. We got the checked- in and had no worries!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Country Inn & Suites near Jim Thorpe. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff was spectacular – extremely attentive and went above and beyond to make sure our whole family felt welcome. Our room was spotless and very comfortable, which made our stay so relaxing. The indoor pool was open late, which was such a bonus — my son had a blast swimming and even made some new friends. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was warm and inviting, and we never had to worry about parking with the plenty of space available. Location couldn’t be better — just a short drive to downtown Jim Thorpe and all of its attractions. Overall, this hotel truly exceeded our expectations. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to families visiting the area!

Housekeeping was great. Check-in went smooth. Cookies were a nice touch. Check-out was slow and printer couldn't print a legible receipt. The Breakfast was totally out of eggs & sausage when we got there. When they did arrive they were only lukewarm. We got a handicap room that we didn't request. Bathroom sink was small and all our towels were on half of it. Shower head was aimed straight down towards the drain, so you couldn't stand under the shower...had to take it off the bracket and use it as a wand. Bathroom on shower side of the room was dark because the only lights were over the sink...could use a ceiling light. In bedroom the middle of the room was dark...could use a ceiling or another lamp next to the TV. Bathroom had an automatic on / off switch. We like to leave a bathroom light on during the night but that wasn't possible because it automatically turns off.

The staff was awesome and the room was clean to start. However, they don't clean your room. We were there for 3 nights. We had to have front staff take our garbage. They did offer clean towels daily. They clean every 3 days apparently, I'm assuming due to staff/hour cuts. That was a negative for me. Then a whole school of young girls rented out the whole floor above us and ran, jumped and generally made AWFUL noise for hours on end, up until 2am. Staff told them to quiet down, to no avail. They need strict noise enforcement after a certain hour. Thank goodness this was the last night of our stay or we would've left early to go somewhere else.

The room was expensive, but it was a Saturday night during Fall Foliage season so I guess it is to be expected. The place was really great! Friendly and helpful service at the front desk. The room was immaculately clean. Nice shower. Great location near Jim Thorpe. Comfy bed and good pillows. I would highly recommend.

Lovely hotel and staff. Very clean! The room was huge(we had two queen beds) and it was very convenient to Route 209 and the turnpike too. Would highly recommend! Also, it had an indoor pool and breakfast was Included!

Dissapointed about the breakfast options. Hot water was not hot in the thermos decantor. Egg choices were horrible. The breakfast overall was poor while everything else was good as far as the location, service and cleanliness. Staff was friendly and courteous.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful with booking matters (extra night) or trouble with remote control, lending a corkscrew and glass. The pool was great and the breakfast area very open and clean. Breakfast options were predictable, but short on whole grains (oatmeal, breads, granola, etc.) or fruits (a few apples only) in favor of highly sweetened cereals. Overall, a very pleasant stay, convenient to Jim Thorpe town and regional points of interest.

Although this property advertises free breakfast, the breakfast foods ran out so frequently, that there was clearly a conscious intention not to provide adequate breakfast food for guests. The breakfast workers excuses for running out of food, were so uncaring and lame, that she appeared ridiculous.

Room, a King suite was large and reasonably comfortable. Hotel cleans every three days. Not a problem except for garbage and the pails always too small. Breakfast was decent but repetitive. Cheese omelets and sausage, waffles. No non-dairy milk. Bananas only two of four days. Free cookies daily. Very pleasant staff. Well-located off the extension exit.

We stayed here several times in the first few years of its opening. We move to SE PA and wanted a quick getaway and decided to give you a try. The place was great and the pool, hot tub were just as we remembered them. Breakfast was a surprise as we thought it would just be a "carb" buffet so the sausage (some of the best I've had) and the cheese omelets were great.
