Great Wolf Lodge Pocono Mountains, PA

I must say I was very disappointed in my stay at Great Wolf Lodge in the Poconos. First off, checking in was a nightmare. The line was si long and there was not enough staff. The wait was long and partially because the staff had to continuously help people with the self check in. I wanted to use my debit card for purchases but because it was not the card that I checked in with it was very very difficult to attach it to my current reservation. I had to go back to the check-in/customer relations on three separate occasions because my card would not work properly based on it was not the card I used to make my reservation. Due to this, we were not able to check into the room at 4 o’clock, which is the check-in time because I had to remedy the situation so they could assign me the room even after this I was called back one more time to try to get my debit card attached to my reservation. So by the time we got to the pool, we were perplexed with the problem of not finding enough chairs to sit and put our belongings. We had to scour chairs from different areas to make it accessible to us to sit together. It was very crowded, but we could’ve been in two hours before if I didn’t have to deal with the issues at customer service check-in. After we checked in, we got ready for dinner and we were eating at timber’s buffet. we got the package for the dinner buffet in the breakfast buffet. I must say the pictures on the website of the Food offered at tender timbers, especially the carving

I like all the pools and staff but the hotel room shower is not working properly.

My family and I have been looking forward to our great Wolf Lodge experience for the last six months, upon arrival, we found the check-in process to be less than personable. When we checked into our room we found globs of pubic hair and toenail clippings in our bathroom, and a dysfunctional pullout sofa. We called down to have maintenance come check on it. He came in with an attitude saying what’s the problem then tried to get my husband to pull the leg out- which he wouldn’t do because we didn’t want to be liable if anything broke. The maintenance worker proceeded to say “we know what we have here. We’re waiting on parts to fix it” The food at the timbers table buffet is absolutely disgusting and 80% of the staff in there have serious attitude’s. We also got the food package, which gave us the refillable soda cups, and when our son went to fill the soda cup, it said that he had reached his limit on the first day of being there. When we arrived we were charged for incidentals on our card- then on the day of check out they added another $100 incidentals charge because we were technically there for “3 days”- not once was this discussed with us. We checked in Monday afternoon-stayed two nights and checked out Wednesday morning at 9 am. This place is nothing but a money grab. Disappointed in our experience is an understatement. We will never give them our money again.

Everything was clean and in the right place! Definitely i will recommand it to my friends and relatives, affordable prices, great staff too.
