Sleep Inn Little River - North Myrtle Beach

They had dirty, sticky carpets. There was a fire hazard in our room(the clock wires were frayed). Also the closet was broken, had screws hanging and sticking out. The breakfast was terrible. The TV didn't work and there were no tubs on this property. Oh and lastly the pool was very dirty.

Melanie was great at the desk,Patty in the kitchen as well. Awesome relaxing stay and loved the indoor/outdoor pool. Me & my wife will be coming back again soon,probably April of 2026… Cant wait 👍

Hotel over all was good. Desk help was away for good half hour to check in at 630 pm. Other than that was decent. Didnt use pool but heard from other customer that it was closed.

Conveniently located property near many golf courses, restaurants and shops. There is a golf course immediately behind the property. Indoor/outdoor pool was refreshing and clean. Small gym with two treadmills and universal gym equipment. Free continental breakfast. Pet friendly rooms are on the first floor…Room 124 seems to be the cleanest. Rooms #120 and 121 need updating; heavy pet smell and bathroom plumbing worked intermittently during our stay in these rooms. Front desk attendant was attentive when issues arose and was quick to relocate us.

Room was somewhat clean, big hole in the carpet in the middle of room, our and bathroom had rust, carpets throughout the hotel really needs a good cleaning. Abandoned building right next door, just not for us. The beds were okay, but on a positive note we did have clean sheets, blankets and towels. The indoor pool was nice and led to the outside, but pool needs a good cleaning as well.

There was only 1 elevator working and ice machine on our floor did not work.

I TRIED to do some guest laundry but the only washing machine has been broken for weeks.

Property made an attempt to update but room was dirty and damp. Carpet was sticky, bathroom walls were dirty and outdated. Indoor/outdoor pool was advertised online and on sign out front but both pools were closed for the season (including indoor portion).

Just a average stay at best. A four story hotel with no ice for 3 days. The ice machine on 3rd floor has been broken for 6 plus months and the 1st floor ice machine broken for 3 day. The indoor pool that they advertise was out of order along with the workout room during my stay.

Did not stay the night. First room reeked of marijuana. We asked for another room and that room smelled like dog pee. We booked another hotel and left. We asked for a refund and are waiting to see if we receive one.

Our room unit 200 smelled like mildew. The carpet was dirty with stains everywhere. They couldn't move up because expedia only has a few units there's and they were booked . My husband had to go get a oxygen tank so I could breathe. Too late at night to find another place to stay. We tried. So the next morning we checked out. The manager was very nice . Yes expedia finds you a good rate because they get yhe units hotel's dont want to fix units up. I will be watching everywhere to make sure this post is seen.

Nice clean facility with very nice staff. Am, pm, check in and cleaning staff were all friendly and helpful. Nicely run business. Also- very affordable.

Toilet didn’t work so needed to get a new room. Showers leaked all over bathroom floor. Rooms smelled bad. Doors, walls, floors were dirty. Breakfast was supposed to be open until 9 but if the food was gone, they just closed up instead of restocking the items. Will not return.

We had damp dirty carpet. The rooms smelled. The room keys had to be re- keyed 3-5 times a day. I would never stay there again.

Very reasonably priced. Very clean. Exceptionally kind staff! Very comfortable bed!!

No room service during our stay,mold and mildew on the wall of our room. Luckily we only spent the night and didn’t have to spend much time here. Won’t book here again.

Walked into room to find a roach crawling up the wall.

We arrived later in the evening (11pm) for check-in and were greeted by a woman who was polite, but a bit short with us. We were given a room on the 2nd floor. We got into the elevator (just 1 of the 2 worked during our entire stay) and went to the 2nd floor. Upon opening the door to the room we found a maintenance cart, wet carpet, and the bathroom fan to be removed from the ceiling; we returned to the front desk. After being told it "wasn't in the system" that the room had been on the maintenance list, we were then given a room on the 3rd floor. Back into the elevator we go, and when the doors opened we were struck with a musty, dirty carpet smell (pet odor from being a pet friendly hotel). At the door to our 2nd room, the key cards didn't work. Back to the front desk I went. I was doubted, the key cards were tried in the machine, and then I was given a 3rd room, now on the 4th floor. Thankfully 3rd time was the charm and the keys worked and room was okay. Here are some overall pros and cons to this establishment: Pros - Bed was comfortable - AC worked great - Stall shower was roomy - Water pressure and temperature was good Cons - Overall cleanliness of hotel was lacking - General odor to the hotel and hallways - Room door deadbolt didn't lock - Hotel didn't give a feeling of being secure/safe - If you looked close enough you could always find something broken, unfinished, or dirty

The 1st room they assigned to us smell like straight up cat spray. The 2nd room smelled much better but could have been in better condition. The bathroom door was a pocket door. The door lock had been cut out with a sawzall leaving a 4 inch hole. lol. The carpet was not in good condition and the furniture needs to be updated.

The shower is quite large with a nice door instead of those ridiculous curtains found at most other places - I liked that. I didn’t eat the included breakfast, but the coffee was rather weak. The front desk folks were friendly and efficient in their tasks; I didn’t interact with any other employees. I would stay here again - especially for the price I paid in the middle of summer in a beach town.

Room was furnished in like-new condition, very clean and comfortable.

The room I was assigned was incredibly damp and musty with the AC on. The mattress was dead. I ended up cutting my trip short and driving home early, rather than stay a second night.

We were greeted at check in by Daniel. He was very polite, courteous, and super friendly. Daniel made the check smooth and easy. We came down a few times and each time he made sure to greet us. The room was adequate and clean. The motel was quiet and beds were comfortable. Daniel in closing is a good asset to sleep in. So many people act as though they hate doing there job. He was opposite. He works at night he said.

This stay was terrible. We arrived and rang the bell for service, a lady came out didn’t speak or anything, all she said was y’all must have just booked a room. Checked us in and sent us to a room that was occupied, went back and told her and no apology just said they shouldn’t be anyone in there. Then moved us to a different room. She never said what time check out was or breakfast or have a good night. Looked like she had been asleep.

The staff was great and accomodating! Breakfast was... hotel breakfast- nothing terribly exciting but the staff working once again, very kind. This is a pet friendly hotel which doesnt effect me; it doesnt smell or anything but the rooms are not very soundproof and I could hear more than one dog who was not very happy about their stay. Overall; I would recommend and I would stay again!

Our first night there, from 12:45am until 3:00am (because I looked at the clock when it woke me up and when it stopped) there were kids running through hall, yelling and shouting at one another at opposite ends of the hall, slamming doors and banging on walls in their, who was next to ours. We ended up sleeping at total of about 4 hours this first night. When we spoke to the front desk later that morning, they were aware of the situation already and moved us to a different room, two floors up. The water in that room had a musty smell and horrible taste, so we bought a case of bottled water and used this to drink and brush our teeth. The next 5 nights we had no issues however, our final night was as bad, if not worse than the first night, as kids were running in the halls and their parents were yelling and cursing them from down the hallway. They also kept slamming doors and knocking on doors until 1:00am. Then it sounded like a dog barking in their room in the middle of the night. Needless to say the 9 hour drive home the next morning, felt like an eternity due to lack of sleep. This was our favorite place to stay when visiting the North Myrtle Beach/Little River area. However, this will be the last time we stay at the Harbor View Sleep Inn.

Great hotel,a little dated in places but immaculately clean.Price the weekend before Christmas couldn't be beat,the standout in this hotel is the staff.Everyone from front desk to breakfast lady and even the cleaning crew on checkout day were very personable and professional. We come to Little River 4-5 times a year and this will definitely be our go to place,5 stars at a 3 star price.

First room we had smelled like urine and the phone didn’t work. Second room didn’t have a smell but the bathroom was not clean. The woman at the front desk was super friendly and was trying her best to find a clean room.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room and hotel were in disrepair but clean. There were quite a few people getting high iand playing music loud the parking lot . I didn’t effect our stay but did not make me want to return

It's obviously an older property but seems to be taken care of pretty well. It is convenient to family that lives in Little River.

Breakfast was limited for a hot buffet

Stayed for the Shrimp Fest. A very decent hotel that was neat and clean albeit a bit worn. Only hot foods were waffles and toast. It was all good just no eggs nor bacon nor sausage. Convenient to everything but just out of the chaos. I would definitely stay again and would recommend it to my family and friends.

The hotel was conveniently located near many different dining options, tourist attractions, and shopping. The room was clean upon arrival, staff were friendly. Included breakfast was good, included a waffle making station. No complaints, would stay again

Overall, for the price you get what you pay for - a clean room to spend the night. The property is dated, and for rooms not updated it is smelly. We stayed on 320 that is carpeted and prior guests had pets that urinated and that smell cannot be removed. Also the advertisement for mini golf onsite is not accurate. The hotel no longer owns it and there were limited hours. We never got to play. The breakfast was decent but there was no variety to the menu for staying multiple days. Staff was pleasant.

Very polite front desk staff, and the breakfast was wonderful. We really enjoyed staying that this hotel.

Generally alright, not great. Breakfast was poor and WIFI too weak to be useful. Just a place to sleep.
