This is a motel. The doors open to the outside. We had a two room suite, which was nice. The breakfast area is very small, and not organized well - minor stuff like juice glasses not near juice machine, no plates near waffle maker, syrup dispenser broken, etc. Parking lot is relatively small, and a LOT of vehicles with trailers parked there.

The Hot Tub was clean and nice and hot. On of the top two hotel hot tubs I’ve been in. Towels were right there for use to use. The Hot Tub and Pool (also very clean and I nice temperature for swimming-but we did not use) were in a separate newer building from the hotel. There were separate restrooms, each with plenty of space to change clothes but no real place to store your clothes other than on one of the many chairs around the pool and HT, which we did. I would say the HT could accommodate 6 people very nicely but it was great for just the two of us!

This a great hotel. You can park right outside your door. Easy walking to dining and shopping. The convenience store across the street is clean and has everything youd need. Breakfast was awesome too and only one block up from the river!

Had to stay on second floor. NO ELEVATOR! Facility is old and in need of updating. My pillowcase had a giant rip on the hem. The TV had limited channels and poor reception, there was no refrigerator, and very little room to move around. The room seemed clean, but shabby. This hotel should be priced around $80, not what I paid!

Very pleasant find. Parking near your door. Pool and hot tub are in a separate building across the parking lot. Rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast has nice options. Pizza restaurant across the road made for a perfect day to long hrs of driving.

We liked that it was right in town but rhat was about it. The carpet in our room felt sticky and dirty, there wasn’t a refrigerator in our room like stated on the website, we wanted to be in one of the outside rooms so not sure why we were put un the main building, mattress on our bed was so old and used we slept horribly and woke up sore and the outlet behind our bed was half coming out of the wall. It was ridiculously priced for being such a run down hotel and not that great. On our road trip we paid less for a much cleaner nicer room elsewhere. Wont be staying here again

Most of the Best Western plus have been nice, this one in Chamberlain, not. The first room we checked into had a disinfectant odor, the carper is old and out dated. We went to the front desk and ask for another room, the second room was very dirty, carpet, bathroom poorly maintained. So back to the front desk, hoping room number 3 is better, it was, slightly. All three rooms the carpet was disgustingly, bathrooms out dated and disgusting, one room, the fridge didn't work. Its sad when house keeping can't pick up trash behind the luggage rack or move a floor lamp and vacuum the bugs in the corner. How can you miss a flickering light fixture in the bathroom sink area? One lamp in one of the rooms was missing a light bulb. The rooms were musty smelling and one room was smoked in. Our stay here was over priced and the reviews are over rated on this property.

This is a budget no frills property that is clearly old and would benefit from a refresh. The good news is...with one exception...it was clean & quiet with surprisingly good mattresses. The one exception is one of the beds had badly stained sheets and when we requested to have them changed, the woman at the front desk gave us some serious attitude...before finally changing them.

We stayed for four nights and had the cleaners hand us fresh towels and coffee pod refills each morning. Our location was 35 miles from our event destination. The staff were nice & helpful. The room was clean, well stocked, quiet, and the area seemed safe. The pool/hot tub was well kept & clean. The free breakfast was adequate with waffles, eggs, bacon & other items. The Keurig coffee station offered 10 choices and the machine ground fresh beans for each cup. We had had to walk 2 blocks to connect to a walking trail along the river, and were two blocks to main street where there were many cute businesses to browse, 2 great eateries, and a mobile "coffee box". We enjoyed our stay and would return, again.

Really nice big room with a King and a queen. The grandkids took the King and we had no complaints about anyone hogging the bed. Hubby and I took the queen. Room was clean, bed was super comfy and I slept really well! Medium size frig (not the tiny one many rooms have) was big enough for us. Good breakfast selections. Only real complaint was that the bathroom door was warped and didn’t close completely …. I travel with my own coffee pot, so the fact that they have one of those horrible single ones that can only use their horrible coffee wasn’t an issue for me. I always have my own! Most rooms face the parking lot so during the Sturgis days it’s gonna be noisy!

This property is located on a busy corner. It’s right across the street from a pizza restaurant and right next to a residential street right on the river. Check in was super easy. Bobbie was very helpful and kind. We explained we were traveling with our two little dogs and requested a quiet place in the hotel. She graciously put us in a room that was adjacent to a room that was being remodeled and provided a little doggie gift with a milk bone and a pet waste bag. So sweet! It was the 4th of July and we had a front row seat to the fireworks that went off right out back. After the fireworks were over, it was really quiet. We slept well. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. You can buy beer and other canned alcoholic drinks in the lobby of this motel. Continental breakfast was included. I had coffee and a yogurt with granola. My husband had bacon, eggs, and toast. It was very good. There was apple and orange juice and many other options to choose from. We would stay here again.

Both night and day staff were very helpful. I couldn't get my trailer backed up and the maintenance person did that and got me parked. The the next morning I locked my keys in my truck. The Man at the desk called a locksmith and it took no time at all. Very happy. Everything was super clean and quiet. The one thing I felt could have been better was the area they had to walk my dog. Very small and around the side of the building. It was uncomfortable and felt unsafe walking her at night.

Just a short walk to the Missouri River. City park on the river is beautiful. All staff members were super friendly and helpful. Room was spotless. Plenty of parking. Numerous dining opportunities for a town of ~2500 people.

We had a quick stay here for a night on our way home from vacation. Check in was quick and easy. The pool was nice for the kids (a bit cold though) and the rooms were clean. We were happy with our stay and with the continental breakfast in the morning. The only negative was that the breakfast room was extremely warm...to the point that we were a bit uncomfortable and it made us not feel the best. Other than that, all was great!
