The staff was polite and friendly. Hotel was conveniently located to the downtown area so we could walk everywhere easily. I wish the pool would be open earlier in the morning since checkout is 11 AM. Opening the pool at 10 AM did not allow the kids time to swim before we had to leave in the morning.

If a pool and hot tub don't matter to you, I would have given it five stars. However, I choose it specifically because it had them. Unfortunately the hot tub was only warm, and the pool was way too cold. I actually like a cold plunge after a sit in a hot tub, but after this tepid tub I needed to go back to my room for a hot bath.

It has laundry listed on amenities. They do not have laundry. You have to go tothe gas station across the parking lot and most of the machine do not work. Breakfast is lame.

The pool and hot tub areas were good. They were clean and well maintained. The parking was very crowded and sometimes hard to find. The sink was clogged when i arrived. It was fixed quickly.

We were glad we choose to stay here for the end of a road trip! The check in process was easy! The rooms are a little dated but mostly only in the bathroom area. We were suprised with the options for breakfast as well. We loved spending time at the pool as well!

No room fridge or microwave. It was very noisy as the road by the hotel had a lot of semi's and big trucks, also you could hear the people above us walking around. Parking was tight and limited. The breakfast was embarrassing, plain stale cake donuts, bread, cereal, hard boiled eggs, yogurt and frozen Eggo waffles. Not much for a diabetic to eat. No drink or snack machines at all. We booked for 3 nights but cut it short. For $120/ night we expected a little more.

well, it is what it is. Super 8 has never been top of the line for travel but it's sufficient most of the time. Two nights there this trip. Breakfast was...meh..... Frozen waffles, raisin bran, yogurt and different bread. No hot menu items. Carpets were mostly clean. Pool was cloudy and we decided not to use it. Coffee pot didn't work and we discovered it was plugged into a three outlet adaptor behind the dresser. Moved it to the bathroom and then hhad it replaced. Not the greatest experience but seems to be what is happening with the Wyndham takeovers across the industry. Elevator to our wing was out of service and according to staff had been for quite a while. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The Super 8 in Hill City is a good value and it's located in a very convenient spot for walking through town. There are couple drawbacks. The elevator only provides access to one wing of the hotel. The other wing is only accessible by stairs. The other drawback is the fairly meager breakfast. It consists of frozen toaster waffles, hard boiled eggs, toast, cake donuts, jogurt, and cereal. Nothing warm except the toast. There are also no refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms so doing some grocery shopping and heating things up is not possible. All in all for the price, I'd stay there again and just do breakfast at some of the many cafes within a short walk.

Property is in need of updates, but overall it was acceptable. Some updates have been done, such as bedding, but carpet for example appears to be from the 80s or 90s and very dirty. The staff was attentive and does seem to care about your experience despite the conditions of the property which the staff can do nothing about. It's a very good location in Hill City. Walkable to the main strip. Parking lot was always full, but there was street parking about a block away. The breakfast is frosted flakes, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, toast. You will probably want to plan on supplementing that if you are there several days. Overall it was an ok place to sleep and shower.

Refrigerator was dirty room smelled musty coffee maker dirty. Breakfast was cereal and toast bagels was disappointed with stay. Parking lot small if driving a Ford 350. Loud was on first floor by ice machine due to stairs for upper or lower rooms.

Room had bugs, breakfast was limited to a few doughnuts and the pancake machine was out of batter. Juice was terrible, bread for toast was dried out. Shower had mold around the base. Will not stay there again.

Safe and clean. The AC unit is somewhat loud, wakes us up everytime it functions on auto. The floors squeek each foot step. The bathroom door is hard to close and open due to the door closer that is broken.

The rooms were run down. A/C could barely keep up and the room always felt muggy. Was somewhere to lay our head for the night during rally. Glad to see they had a fridge and microwave in the rooms and the pool was great to give my kids something to do. They need to update their breakfast options. Really could have done something other than frozen waffles…

When we checked it we were told we had to take a room with no elevator access on the 2nd floor. We are retired and in our 60’s. He finally agreed to a handicapped room with elevator access. I tried to access Wi-Fi to read on my IPad but could not use in our room. I spoke to the front desk and he said that happens in corner rooms.

Hotel is in a nice quiet area of town. All shops were with in walking distance and area attractions were a shortdrive away. All staff we met werer very friendly and helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will definatly be back in the near future!

Came in for work, advertised WIFI, and breakfast. WiFi didn’t work, I talked to Mark the desk clerk, told me awe it’s always bad, here’s the manager, contacted manager, he told me to go to conference room, so not available in my room. Breakfast was frozen waffles, man handed by people. Boiled eggs were over cooked. The pool had oil on top of the water. There wasn’t a do not disturb sign, so didn’t appreciate that. The toilet top was cracked, the hair dryer plug was damaged, and the bath tub was so high, I almost fell getting out.

The hotel and room was not fancy, but clean and the staff were very friendly and accomodating. The hotel is located downtown Hill City with shops and dining within walking distance. Centrally located to the Black Hills and Custer State Park. I would definitely stay again.

The rooms were decent besides the shower head being set so low. Had to crouch down at 6' of height. The breakfast was less than expected too, only had cereal options and some bread/bagels it seemed, the juice machine was also out of order.

The property was in an excellent location in Hill City. Our complaint was the noisy floor joints. You heard every step on the next floor. This was extremely aggravating during the night time hours. Also, the breakfast was unappealing. Frozen waffles, hard cooked eggs and bread, no fruit or yogurt.

The hotel is in a good location and we stayed near the pool area. The staff was friendly whenever they were available. We were surprised the office area was gated around 10 pm and 7am when we needed assistance. Their breakfast selection was a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! They offered frozen waffles, cereal, milk, juice, coffee, and bread. Also, poached eggs and yogurt both placed in a bowl with ice. NO HOT FOOD of any kind..... no meat..... no eggs.

Older hotel but clean and very friendly staff. Pool and hot tub area was great. Unit heaters and outside traffic is a little loud so take ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. No effort in the continental breakfast so don't plan on it as a starter for the day.
