We went to Sioux Falls for a concert and stayed here for one night. When we got there we found out the elevator wasn’t working. We were on the third floor. I had knee surgery two months ago so I asked for a first floor room as stairs are challenging and cause discomfort. They were unable to accommodate me.

When we checked in and got up to the room there was no water so we got relocated to a different room just to wake up this morning to the fire alarm going off.... And then also not having water again this morning. Also, the website says there's a hot tub until you get here and they have a note posted saying they don't have one up and running. How are we going to the pool room and there's not even a hot tub in there?. Definitely going to seek some money back on this one

Check in went fine, room was very nice but I specifically booked this hotel so my grandkids could come over and swim and the pool was “closed for maintenance”. That was EXTREMELY disappointing and I would have chosen a different hotel had I known.

This was possibly the worst hotel experience I've ever had. We chose this location so my kids could swim and use the hot tub, arrived at 8pm. They said the hot tub was broken so we got ready to use the pool. It was ice cold, which the people in the lobby who were staying said they were staying for two days and said the staff kept telling them it would be twenty min to warm it up but it was never actually being worked on. Then the beds were god awful - springs were coming through, I was awake all night, tried sleeping on the floor on a blanket, but didn't sleep at all. Then in the morning they said the pool should be warm -it was like ice again. Don't stay here. The only reason people go to hotels is for amenities and to sleep, and we got neither.

There were little gnats or fruit flies all over the bathroom. The shower didn't look like it had been thoroughly cleaned, so we did not use it. We pulled out the sofa bed for our daughter and the mattress was incredibly thin and warm, and she tossed and turned all night as she could feel the springs. The location is great and easy to get to, and the breakfast was par for the course, but I don't think we'll be back if we have more than two people staying.

Not the cleanest hotel. The hotel room appeared to have water damage. The bedding was never changed and we found other people’s hair on the bed. They did not have anywhere on their website saying that the pool was closed and that was disappointing to not be able to enjoy in the evening.

Our room was terrible! The carpet was all shredded and frayed in places. The closet doors were off and leaning on the wall by the bed so you could only get in and out of the bed on one side. The elevator floors were so sticky from syrup that your shoes stuck! Would never recommend this hotel.

I’m not a super picky person but I have to speak up about this place! By far, the worst night of sleep at a hotel in my life! Very noisy room! The AC did not keep the room cool, and every time it would turn off it would make a clicking, rattling, and clunking noise every time it turned off. Approximately every 15-20 minutes that was loud enough to startle us. (Sounded like someone opening and closing the entry door). The beds were super hard, linens were not fresh or comfy and the spare blanket was covered in pet hair. We arrived late at night and just needed some rest so we tried to grind it out but that was a mistake! Not worth the price. My suggestion is to spend a few extra dollars for a better place.

The check in process was slow because I had booked through Expedia. I was disappointed with the room. I was so happy to have the rolling table but then there was only one chair! My husband and I like to play cards so one of us had to sit on the bed. The closet was funky. There were shelves so high that the hanging sweaters hit the shelf. When we showered this morning the pressure was up and down, and there was a real range of water temps, none very warm. When we got to the breakfast room there was only one waffle maker and 5 people ahead of us. Also the only open table was right by the waffle maker so no privacy. The breakfast offerings were minimal. I thought a hotel associated with the Marriot would be really neat but I was disappointed. I also could not get a copy of my bill from the front desk because I had booked through Expedia.

The breakfast was excellent—really appreciated the variety, taste and temperature of the food, nice dining area and cleanliness of that area. Beds were comfortable, relatively quiet (some traffic noise). We requested housekeeping twice and never got it. Hot tub was uncomfortably hot so couldn’t get in.

Great stay. Easy check in. Room was clean and everything worked in room( stove, dishwasher) and also in the hotel( laundry room was available and pool was open) breakfast was great. So many options and as busy as it was they didn’t run out of anything. Would def stay again and recommend. My only issue was not sleeping well not comfortable but everyone sleeps differently

I usually stay at TownePlace South as a single but had my bother with me this time. As soon as I wanted a room with 2 beds it appears that I was switched to this location. I didn't notice the change until we tried to check in at the wrong place. It was a little out of the way from where we wanted to be. But it was easy to find and had great access to the road ways. This place was just as good as the South location. Great breakfasts by the way!

We enjoyed the clean room, comfortable beds and yummy breakfast. A nice surprise was the close proximity to the bike trail so I could get a nice walk in the morning. Our only complaint was the strong smell throughout all the common areas of the hotel. It was more than likely a cleaning product or air freshener spray. It was so potent that my husband and I were constantly sneezing!
