We really wanted to get some sun and enjoy the pool. But buildings block the sun. Also tou all reall need new round chairs they are horrible and all torn up and nasty. People really dont want to sit on them.

Staff was terrific, always friendly and helpful. The woman running the coffee shop in the mornings deserves a shout out, coffee and service was great! Thanks My only constructive criticism is there was a lack of pool towels.

My experience was the same as 13 other patrons that night. We all had our cars broken into in the $20/night hotel parking lot. As it turns out, the same thing happened the week before and the hotel had still not put any security measures in place. It's b found to just keep happening. The refund of my stay didn't approach making up for the time, energy, stress and loss as a result of the complete lack of concern for parking lot security. I even felt weird about parking there when I pulled into the parking area and saw no security fencing. Pay attention to your feelings and don't stay here.

Pool was a heated pool, but it was closed. :-( Why?? That's the reason I chose the hotel. I also didn't get my Hilton Honors points because I booked through Expedia. Other hotel chains give me my points even if I book through Expedia. This policy will affect the hotel I choose in the future. It seems really petty not to give me the points when I'm still staying at the hotel.

Staff and property are in a great location to walk downtown. The staff and hotel itself were clean. The rooms could use some updating but aren’t horribly out of date. We also didn’t like the $22 a night parking fee to park in the hotel lot. I feel like that should be included in hotel cost.

Walking distance, short walk to eat and drinks. Outdoor pool area is very nice.. workout area is also nice. Will be back in the area, and will stay here. Oh yea..don’t pass up the complimentary cookie.

FILTHY!!! We stayed here twinge in 4 months. The first time, We checked into the room and the bedding smelled like sweat and body odor. There was hair on the sheets, as well. It was clear they just made up the bed and did not use clean linen. We requested a room change and that room had a moldy bathroom, but at least the bedding seemed clean. This stay, when we checked in we noticed the tub had hair and dirt in it. We saw the cleaning person in the hallway and asked her to clean the tub and give us more toilet paper . We came back hours later and there was additional toilet paper however, the hair in the bathtub and the dirt was still there. We immediately went down stairs and checked out. It is clear that cleanliness is not a priority here, so changing rooms was not desired. I will never stay here again, and do not recommend you waste your money. I am a Hilton honors member and am very disappointed in this property.

The room smelled of urine. I had a small dog with me so I guess I was given a pet room. It smelled terribly of urine. I sprayed cologne in it to alleviate some of the smell. I drove all day so I was to tired to complain I also stay at Embasy Suites in Franklin, Tennessee and that suite also had a large stain on the sofa that it also reeked of urine. I was very disappointed in my stay at both hotels.

During our three days stay, we stayed in three different rooms. In the first one, the amount of noise at night made it impossible to sleep; pipes, air conditioners, refrigerator. and the building below with all the machinery. We were offered another room that was more isolated. The amount of noise subsided a little, but the smell was disgusting. In both, the absence of cleanliness was immediately noticeable. There were piles of fingernail clippings on the carpet. We had to communicate it four times in the course of 14 hours and it was never cleaned. We asked for another room. The last room was better, but the noise at night was still an issue. We were comped breakfast for our trouble, but it was your average hotel slop. At $18 per head, you could have gone right out the door and had a good breakfast from a local restaurant for cheaper.

Hello, Last night was incredibly uncomfortable! After 12hrs of nonstop for with a 7yo, i showered and got in bed @ 10p only to notice period blood stains on the linen. I removed that part and covered with my kid’s throw, which is incredibly small. I did not want to alarm her by having the front desk to strip the bed at that hour- So, i stopped by the front desk as we were leaving out this morning. I’d kindly like a refund beyond and apology for last nights stay. I’m sure renting rooms with blood stained linens is not the vision or mission of Hilton. My daughter and i left at 10a for a day at the water park. We returned at 5p to the same mess that was left. Yes, the bedding was changed. But, the rest of the room was left a mess. Is staff no longer cleaning the rooms?! I’d assume if there were blood stains on the linens that it’d make plenty sense to freshen be entire room. This has been a BAD experience. I’m looking forward to hearing from you and if this is beyond your scope, please guide me in escalating my request. Best, Chyna

There was no where near enough lighting in the rooms so it was very dark at night. The furniture in the room was pretty beat up. The mattress on the pull out bed in the couch was extremely thin and uncomfortable for the kids. They were sore every morning. The mattress on the king bed was uncomfortable. Definitely not what I would consider a 4-star hotel.

We liked the location and the staff at the hotel. The room was outdated, stinky of mildew the air conditioner wasn't working right and it was very loud. There were stains on the carpet. The sheets didn't smell very clean or fresh.

The suite has one bathroom with no hot water. One of the three HVAC units did not work. The thresholds been rooms were torn up and the kids tripped over them. The other parts of the hotel were great.

The bed was comfortable but the pillows were old and lumpy. Everything else was great except there isn’t much of a sound barrier between walls. I woke up to the next door occupants’ alarm and could hear every single word and conversation that they had at a normal talking level.

I didn’t enjoy my stay how I wanted to. I booked for a suite room An didn’t get it. Staff never came An cleaned room. Asked multiple times for new towels An wash clothes. They never brung them. I had to go to the front desk to get them myself from the janitor. Breakfast wasn’t free. No complementary coffee. Very old room just renovated with a few new things.

We were charged for using the hotel parking lot, when, in fact, the hotel recommended we park overnight in an adjacent parking garage. The parking lot was substantially less expensive than the hotel parking lot. We checked with the hotel after the first night and learned that we were charged for using the hotel lot the first night. The hotel said they would remove that charge. The second night the hotel again charged us for using their lot when win fact again parked in the garage. That charge was to have been deducted, but as yet we do not have indication that charge was deleted. We are members of the hotel chain honor club, which generally means we get free breakfast. The breakfast server told us we would get the discount. We were charged the full rate for breakfast and we were denied any reduction in that cost. The overcharges were an unexpected cost that soured our respect for the hotel chain.

Double tree in downtown Chatanooga was the worst hotel experience,ever, as this hotel was not well cleaned, carpetting, beds, and rooms smelled of cig smoke, and had non functional thermostats. Most upsetting was Gunner at the front desk, who was very rude and unprofessional with his attitude, starting from our enquiry of water bottles, and he himself suggested full refund, compelling us to look for options, based on above described room issues. He suggested to find options bc we told him this hotel and room mgmt was very unsatisfactory. Once we were on the phone to find nearby options, he refused to refund and waive fees(which he 1st said he would.) Then I asked to speak to his mgr and he said he would refund without penalty but takes 3-5 business days. I have a card with mgr mnber and will call to discuss how inconvenient and embarassing this has been, to find a clean room with working temperature, but also get a hassle, delay, and chaos out of this. Never had this expereince with any other hotel or double tree. Customer Service helped me to find option in another nearby Doubletree, Hamilton Place. This branch is clean, friendly, and the actual expected hilton experience for loyal customers. I want to be refunded with no fees for the downtown DThotel, ans reimbursed for the delay of 2 hours and our inconvenience travelling from Florida. I will definitely write negative reviews if this issue is not refunded fully and reimbused for our inconvenience and hassles today,

Conveniently located, staff was professional, overall great experience. However, I forgot an item in a drawer after I checked out and called the hotel on the same day to find out if the housekeeper had found it. Front desk said that they would check with housekeeping the next day and call me back. No one returned my, I called the following day in the afternoon and was told that nothing was found in the room.

This hotel experience was fantastic. The hotel was quiet and everyone we had contact with was always friendly and welcoming. Location of hotel was very walkable to great restaurants and shops as well. We would definitely stay here again!

It was amazing! The hotel staff was excellent. The hotel was convenient to everything. We were able to walk just about everywhere. Chattanooga was amazing! Lots of things to do especially for children. Ruby Falls was amazing! We plan to come back soon.

My husband and I had a nice and delicious dinner at the hotel restaurant The Grove. We had the crab cake and salmon, each dinner came with 2 sides and mouth watering little biscuits. The waitress was very nice and gave us time to look around and decide on what our choices would be. When we ordered our delicious meals arrived promptly. We had a jacuzzi room and the jacuzzi was gigantic, so nice to sore muscles. Our experience was fantastic and we will definitely be back.
