Hotel Bo, a Days Inn by Wyndham Chattanooga Downtown

We took a chance at the Hotel Bo after reading favorable reviews. We weren’t disappointed. The hotel is an older property that has been fully renovated with a cool art deco vibe. Nice bar and outdoor seating areas around the property and pool. Easy walking to popular areas in the West Village, Market St. and the aquarium.

Stay was fine. beds are comfortable but small. Hotel is an older property and it's a bit run down but nothing terrible. For the price, it's probably what we expected. Pool is in bad shape. Water was dark green. City water was the reason we got for the discoloration. Unusable currently. Staff was helpful and friendly.

The staff was friendly and helpful, the room and pool were clean, and the bar was nice with good drinks!!

Great place to say, but sure why I had to pay for parking though.

The outdoor pool was clean, nice size and heated . I just wish they didn’t do the swimming pool maintenance between 9 to 11 am on a Wednesday . Couldn’t use the pool then . Staff were friendly and helpful .

The over booked out hotel or there was not enough parking to where we had to park in a parking garage and pay for parking.

The pool was very dirty and the stay was overpriced for what was offered.

Great choice for the price. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The outdoor eating and pool area was adorable and lively as well as family/kid friendly. Easy access to anywhere with the free shuttle. Will definitely return.

The room was very clean. My kids loved the pool and especially the easy access.

Everything about our stay at Hotel Bo was good with one BIG exception. The parking. After returning back to the hotel after a concert there were ZERO parking spots. We talked to the front desk to learn "there are not enough parking spaces for the number of rooms" and we would have to seek and pay for parking elsewhere. BIG PROBLEM! Why in the world would there not be enough parking spaces for guests? And why weren't we told this when we checked in? The hotel should offer parking reimbursement if there are not enough spaces and guests had to park elsewhere.

I read these were renovated, but appeared quite dated. The bathroom had mold on the roof and was quite dated, the tub wasnt particularly clean either. Tv channels were limited and some listed didn't work. My phone did not work so i had to go to the front desk to request a late check out. Not the best experience when spending over $200 a night.

There was a roach found dead in the bathroom floor and another alive across the floor of the room which made the night restless. Also, had to sleep with all luggage on the bed to avoid any other critters from climbing into bags. This stay was very uncomfortable and resulted in a restless stay. The phone in the room was also plugged into the outlet but inoperable with no dial tone. This is so sad and disappointing. Unfortunately, I will not be staying here again, as I tried to find a location near my daughters university. They should check their rooms before assigning them to guest to ensure nothing like this is experienced.

There were roaches everywhere and they were huge. I asked the girl for a refund. She said ok, but I have yet to receive my money and this was weeks ago.

Staff are courteous. The rooms are clean. The beddings are excellent. But the stairways and walkways are not clean. A street guy came up to me asking for money.

The room, recently remodeled, was basic but spotless. Comfortable beds. Great shower water pressure.

Room was very loud. You could see light and hear everything from the massive gap under the door. Floors were disgusting in our room. Definitely not mopped. Bathroom was gross. You could hear every toilet when it flushed. Couldn’t believe our room was $150 a night. What a dump. Should have been 1/2 that price! Very disappointing. Will never stay there again!!

This was our 2nd stay here. Both times were very pleasant. Staff is nice. Rooms are very clean, smell clean, look clean. Now, it is not a 5 star hotel - there are no complimentary meals and you can tell it is an older hotel with a few chips and cracks here and there. However, the beds are clean and comfortable, they change all of the linens, not just the sheets, with each new guest, new flooring, and it is very conveniently located within walking distance to our favorite places.

Very cute and has a 50s vibe. Very much of the okd school motel vibe. Upon stepping inside the lobby you are hit with a musty 50s smell. They have tshirts, snacks, and homages to moon pie and Stuckey's. Attendent was very nice and professional in the midst of being swarmed with 4 people checking in. Plenty of parking for a motel downtown, but $10 additional for parking. Rooms were pleasantly accommodating, however double beds are only for very small adults. It was not a comfortable sleep. Adequate for a one night stay or if you love nostalgia.

Great place to stay, but NOT quiet. Backs up to a Very busy Interstate highway. Busy all night. Air conditioner helped buffer the noise. People were nice.

Property was ok for a short two day stay. The only issue I had was the early morning noice from the housekeepers rolling cart passing the room each morning. Also since the hotel is located by the road you can hear the traffic which is very loud. Other then those things the hotel is ok for a short stay.

Older motel that has been updated with paint and furniture. Bed had some kind of a spring system in the mattress that made it squeak every time someone moved. Gap around the outside door. Basic accommodation..

It’s hard to imagine that a quarter of the 21st century has already passed, yet there are still hotels whose internet service doesn’t work.

Convenient location and friendly staff. Unfortunately the walls are paper thin and you hear people and cars late into the night.

I like this place. But I made the mistake of choosing a room near the street. It was noisy. Next time, and there will be a next time, I will choose a different room. This was my bad entirely, they offerer other locations. As I wrote I like this place.

definitely the cleanest hotel room I’ve had in the last few months. However if the 4 occupants are large people, they won’t fit in the beds, I think they’re full size:)

Great location in Downtown Chattanooga, walking distance to restaurants, historic sites, etc. Front desk was amazing, helpful and pleasant. There was some street noise and the room I was in didn't have a microwave, but overall, it was a lovely stay, and I would stay again!

Good location if you want access to downtown area. Some places were walking distance. Noise was an issue for us. Lots of sound from the street (cars, people etc) & this was a Sunday night for reference. The room itself was cute & comfortable. Seems like a “party” hotel - for people wanting to go out to the bars & stay out late. Liked that they had parking available.

The GM was excellent and it shows that he cares about the hotel. The staff were all so kind and nice.

Really comfy beds and pillows. Room smelle really clean upon entering. Check in was quick and the attendant was super nice. This is our 3rd time staying here.

There was rarely a front desk person on duty. Once I waited to 5 or so minutes and called the hotel to get someone to come up front for service(A sign at the desk saying "I'll be right back" would be helpful). Elevator was broken, but there wasn't a sign on it. Myself & a couple just sat there waiting(And wasting out time.). Day 2 I came back from an early morning walk & my ac unit wasn't working and displayed "BR." Maintenance manager immediately came up and said it was a brown out(Maybe fuse related) and they might need to replace unit. I told him I would be leaving for most of the day, but when I retuned I would be showering, putting on a tux and going to an event across the street. I returned late afternoon and the unit was still not working and I had to change rooms. I would have liked a call or text letting me know I would need to change rooms so I would return a little earlier to accommodate this need. You could see light from outside around the bottom of the door(in both rooms) which can't be good for maintaining A/C and keeping bugs from entering. It has a cool looking facade, but felt like an old outdated Days Inn.

The room was clean and everything worked as it should Customer service was amazing. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and kind.

The hotel was very clean and the employees were some of the nicest I have ever dealt with but the owner was a dick. The first night I woke up to loud music. Since I didn’t check in until 1 am so I was trying to sleep. Then louder music started playing. I went to the front desk to address it. The owner came out so I told him about the music, the fact that the toilet is obnoxiously loud and that I could hear the couple in the room next to me having a conversation and that I could hear every word they said and that his housekeeping was hollering from one end to the other. He informed me that quiet hours were from 10pm-8am. He said I was welcome to go to another hotel if I wanted to but that he was willing to move me to a quieter room. I agreed to the new room. I was out for awhile so didn’t get back until late that day so that night I used the bathroom and the toilet didn’t flush. So they next morning I went back to the front desk and the employee told me they would send maintenance up. I then seen the owner in the parking lot and told him about the toilet. He said well at least you don’t have to hear the toilet. That was tacky especially being the owner. He never apologized or tried to make it right. I felt very unappreciated the music that was playing is played all day. Who wants to hear that while trying to relax? The other music was someone with a big speaker at the pool. Even though the hotel was clean the attitude of the owner would make me never stay there again

The hotel staff were great, but the bartender she was rude and races . She did not want to serve us as black customers. She walked by us about three times and a white customer told her to serve us.

Although the property is older and has been updated, the rooms were immaculate and well maintained. Front office staff Tiffany was welcoming and so pleasant to deal with. We will stay here again, much better than we were expecting.

NICE TO BE ABLE TO PARK RIGHT IN FRONT OF ROOM. RC AND MOON PIE NICE SURPRISE. LIKED BEING ABLE TO WALK TO CONVENTION CENTER.

Great location to walk easily into town for food and drink.

This was a one night short stay and I did not feel safe. Was in a sketchy area and totally not worth the 160 I payed for the night. I didn’t leave my room. Has a weird smell that I can’t describe. Ordered in pizza from pizza bro’s which was the only nice thing about the stay.

Stayed here a few times. Consistency good. Great location. Easy access to downtown and airport. Walkable to food and drink. Clean, quiet. Good value.

We had difficulty finding the road to the hotel because of poor lighting and non existent signage. However the room was comfortable and the staff friendly.

I was there for an event at the convention center. It was only a 3 minute walk. Several restaurants within walking distance. Clean rooms.

The free shuffle around town is located at the edge of parking lot.

Reviews are always so difficult to gauge. There’s always good and there’s always bad. I can’t say a negative thing About this place. From check in to check out, everyone we encountered was so kind. The rooms were spotless! I appreciated, not having carpeted floors in the rooms! The no smoking policy is fantastic for us. Coffee in the lobby was amazing with fresh Muffins. We did not stay for breakfast and did not get a chance to enjoy the bar or pool. The location is perfect right off the interstate. Our room was in the back corner closest to the interstate… It was unexpectedly quiet! Having a shuttle literally steps from our room that transported us to our destinations was fantastic! We will definitely be back!

It was a nice stay for us! AMAZING customer service!! We wish the Diner was still there.

I was really disappointed to see that the City Diner was no longer there. The only breakfast option was at a bar. I felt that there should have been better options that to go to a bar for breakfast. I always choice to stay there because of the diner being there. Because there is really no other breakfast options I will probably look for a different place to stay next time I come down.

Very convenient to downtown and a good retro style hotel. Nice idea they have a bar daily at 4pm for drinks, patio area to relax around.

The other guests were the only real issue we had with this location. Our room was right beside the pool and kids were literally screaming and running around until 10PM. Other than that, the room was very clean and the coffee was surprisingly good. We brought our own coffee expecting a full-size coffee maker, but it’s a single-serve. The lids with the cups didn’t fit, but the ones we brought with us did. Also, the restaurant wasn’t open due to staffing, but the complimentary muffins were delicious and the staff made local breakfast recommendations.

The property was great. Clean with a cute retro theme. Would stay again. Liked the proximity to downtown. The diner staff was not very friendly.

The staff was very nice and the bistro was a perfect place to eat drink and watch football!

We had a great experience at the Hotel Bo . The manager Dale Daniel was very friendly and professional. The hotel was clean even for being a dog friendly hotel the room was spotless. The breakfast was a plus. I highly recommend the hotel .

5 star stay at hotel bo! Especially love the rc cola and moon pie snacks! So much so that I bought some to take home! Also don't miss out on tge restaurant downstairs that makes breakfast! So delicious!!!
