Our first impression is that we were taken aback by the “valet only” parking. This may have been written somewhere, however, it wasn’t so visible or upfront that you’d clearly know it. Make sure you read the fine print I guess? The staff was incredibly rude. The two men working the valet were nice, but everyone at the front desk and everyone that answered the front desk phone were very rude and unprofessional. Every time we needed to speak with someone or ask a question they had a terrible attitude. The room was nice and the location was great. Customer service was really bad though, and tainted the experience from the beginning, unfortunately. We wouldn’t stay here again.

Centrally located within walking distance to the Aquarium and a ton of great dining spots. Lover this place. The staff were so nice and genuinely sincere in welcoming us when we arrived and when we departed bidding us safe travels. The room was spacious, very clean and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and got plenty of sleep and rest.

We travel often to this area. We brought my granddaughter and selected a corner room. We did not get that when we checked in. I noticed that our socks were so filthy after walking through our room in a very short period of time. I would recommend either replacing the carpet or working on a DEEP CLEAN for this Holiday inn location,

I love this area, and visit often. This is my first time staying in this hotel. The lady who checked us in was great! Very friendly and welcoming! The hotel however feels a little damp. No matter how long we let the AC run, it always felt like there was too much moisture in the air. A dehumidifier would really help, but other than that I've enjoyed my stay

We have stayed before and it was great. This particular time it was so so. Staff was amazing and accommodating. The room was very clean and beds were comfortable. The ceiling above the shower was damaged along with peeling paint. The TV had terrible reception every channel would lagg and lose reception.

The room was clean and relatively quiet. You could hear people in the hallway from the living area if they were being loud. It stayed nice and cool. I could never get anyone on the phone from the room (guest services or valet) which was a little frustrating. My mother in law had to go down to the lobby for anything we needed- sheets for sofa bed, more towels, etc. The only other frustration was the mini fridge in the room. It froze everything within a few hours and there was no temperature setting available. However, A/C was cold and water in the bathroom was hot and good pressure. The pool area is small but has the benefit of being indoors and therefore can swim even when it's raining. Great location- CDM 1 block away, aquarium 3 blocks away, lots of dining one street over. Valet parking is not super convenient but at least you don't have to worry about getting a parking spot, and the price was comparable to self parking price at the hotel across the street. Overall we'd stay here again for convenience and value.

It was a great trip and the hotel was very conveniently located near so much. I had two issues, 1) the door was super heavy- which made it loud when it closed (not good with a 4 year old. 2) there was really no parking. The valet people were no where to be found. The street parking was fine except the birds REALY liked my car. I would suggest parking in the lot across the street. I wish I had known that in advance. The staff was AMAZING. So friendly and helpful.

This is the first time I’ve ever reserved a room,paid for what I requested ( which showed to be available) but when I arrived the desk clerk informed me that they didn’t have that type room and he didn’t care or even attempt to help in any manner whatsoever, basically take what I give you or leave attitude. When checking in I was charged twice for my stay. Deposit and all. When we noticed it we went back to the front desk and was told there wasn’t anything they could do about it and it would take 3-5 business days for it to come back. The manager said she released the funds but still nothing. That’s just a lot of money to “accidentally” take twice. When we came back up to the front desk the second time a different guy told us they have been double charging people a lot lately and that’s just what he is supposed to tell people that it’ll take 5 business days. Also.. parking is terrible. You have to use their $23 a day parking for valet or use public parking

We arrived at the hotel about 6pm and were told that the accessible room with the roll in shower we reserved was given away. I was told that they had another accessible room but it had a tub/shower combination. Since I had already unloaded my handicap mother and suitcases and gave our car to the valet, I agreed. When we arrived at the room, it was clearly not accessible so called down to the desk and was offered a King room with a couch bed. As soon as I said that we needed to talk about it, the room I had reserved was suddenly available. We were there 2 nights and the only friendly employees were the valets. They also charge $14.99 for the same buffet breakfast that I had free at the other hotels on our trip.

Not a sharp front office staff when we checked in at 1am; delayed us by another 45 minutes. Parking is not free, no hot water coffee or tea on the front desk at any time although their tagline is “start your day fresh”. Extremely poor AC and heating unit which makes a very loud noise. The maintenance staff wash clothes at 4am thus causing too much noise around the rooms and we endured two early morning of noise from drier! Never again !

Breakfast was terrible. Powdered eggs weren’t cooked all the way (way to much water). Potatoes not cooked all the way. Waffles were terrible. $300 a night, expected better. Staff was outstanding, including the breakfast staff. Just needs to better on quality of food.

This hotel is in a very convenient location with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Our room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the staff was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! However, the hotel could use some updates. The furniture in the lobby and the sofa in our room was a bit worn and could be replaced. Also, the shower door kept opening as we showered. Overall, it was was a nice stay and we would stay there again based off our experience with the staff alone because they were just that AMAZING!
