The pool had missing tiles, was woken up to not once, but twice by an intercom system at 11pm saying “keep it down”. I have two toddlers, it was annoying getting them back to sleep.

Great location. Loads of shopping and dining within walking distance. The TN aquarium is directly across the street. The property is clean and well-maintained. Breakfast and dinner options within the hotel. The pool is very small. Check and check-out were quick and easy. Parking is not connected to the hotel.

Easy booking process and friendly staff that helped us get a water view room upon arrival. However, the pool was not open and they were doing construction on the elevators and in the hallways. If we had known about the pool and renovations we mostly likely would’ve booked elsewhere.

Overall a great stay. Everything is very new and modern. The staff were very nice and the location is perfect for walking around the city. My only issue was that parking felt like a scam. Almost $20 a day for an open access public parking garage that can get very full on the weekends. We struggled to find a spot sometimes.

Love the proximity of this hotel to downtown and riverfront. However its a bit difficult when traveling with kids. Parking garage only accessible going outside the hitel and into a bus depot that is a bit "sketchy" at best. Creepy at night. Only one microwave for the whole hotel is available. It would cost under $1000 to put a microwave on each floor. Pool deck is hazardous when wet. Everyone was sliping. Its a lawsuit waiting to happen. Its a great location and nice staff. Its very clean but not family oriented for a hotel across from the Aquarium

The staff was excellent. The cooked to order Breakfast was tasty- the oatmeal the waffles were great. While the hotel was under renovation, the staff were very accommodating and communicated exceptionally well. Fantastic location.

I liked the access to downtown - easy walking distance to attractions. Parking was a bit of a killjoy and staff was underwhelming and the pool was slimy. Had an issue w remote and they came and checked it- noted it was under responsive then said to call if it didn’t work. None of this changed our overall opinion- great location and we got what we needed out of it.

Our stay was great and we enjoyed the hotel friendly atmosphere. The hotel was very clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly. We ended up with a handicap room and couldn’t change it because there was no vacancy. The door was hard to open. The bed was very low and we just made the best of it. It was a short getaway from Atlanta.

We stayed at the Courtyard Marriott in Chattanooga for a quick end-of-summer trip and had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, our room was ready on arrival and very spacious, and they had a pack and play waiting for our baby just as we had requested. The location was perfect—especially convenient for our visit to the aquarium. Overall, it was an easy, comfortable stay and exactly what we needed.

The hotel was great, the staff were nice, the room was in good shape. The bed was very uncomfortable to sleep on. For $260 for a night I was expecting something a little nicer than what it was. The photos of the balcony are very misleading as well. You barely have enough room to open the door and walk out. With the 2 chairs and a table that are out there it makes it very hard to move around. All in all the hotel was nice, and I will be staying again, I just wish it was a little cheaper for the quality of room that you receive.

The corner room was spacious & clean. The front desk attendant was very friendly and helpful. We were on the second level. The street noise was very loud all night. The scenic view expected wasn't there. I should have asked for a higher floor when booking. Overall good experience and would stay here again, but ask for a room with a better view and not so close to the street level.

Great room w/balcony overlooking the river & Aquarium. Very comfortable. Staff was friendly & helpful. Area is full of things for tourists to do, unfortunately we were only stopping over to break up a long drive to Savannah. Parking garage could be easier to access.

The elevator was broken going up to my floor. No one told me when checking in so it was really frustrating when it would not let me off on my floor. The beds are very uncomfortable. The floor would have been better. However, it was very clean and everyone was very nice.

It was a good stay but not an amazing stay. I did appreciate that there was a designated garage to park which wasn’t far away. However, the young lady who worked the front desk upon our evening arrival on Saturday, July 19 was too “casual” with me. She was addressing me as “girl” over and over , feeling so comfortable as if we are friends and I too am a guest just like the white patrons who were there. I didn’t hear her addressing them as “hey girl… yeah girl… what you need girl…”. I mean she used it as if it was punctuation! I had a friend on the phone and they commented “I thought that was someone you knew. No, it is the front desk worker who feels because we share the same skin color she can throw urban pleasantries at me. I may have let one slide but she said it no less than 10-15 times during my stay as I saw her the last day of check out as well (Monday morning July 21). So just remind your staff to treat everyone with professional discourse.

Dennis was amazing! He helped us in so many ways! Everyone was so nice and friendly. They made us feel like family. The room was clean, the bed was amazing and so were the pillows. I have a pinched nerve in my neck. Usually when we go somewhere the pillows hurt my neck. It's not the case here. If you're looking for an amazing stay in Downtown Chattanooga look no further than this place. Can't wait to go back ❤️

Hotel was great and it was a great location, however if you are looking for a quiet getaway this is not it. There is always something going on at the riverside and every night there were vehicles with loud exhaust driving through until late at night. But this was no fault of the hotel, the hotel itself was great. There is a daily rate for parking.

My family stayed in room 417 for two nights while visiting Chattanooga for the long weekend. We picked this hotel because of the proximity to the Tennessee aquarium and the children’s museum. The $5/day add on for breakfast was definitely worth it as it would have cost our family maybe $40 a day at breakfast if we didn’t add it on ahead of time. The room was very clean. The only concern we had was some things in the bathroom didn’t work as expected. The toilet was constantly running, the shower sliding door had a piece come off the track and wouldn’t stay closed and at one point the door knob to the shower/toilet room fell off. These things weren’t too much of an inconvenience for us but they definitely should fix them.

Great hotel, but I was disappointed there wasn't any coffee included in the hotel price in the lobby (besides the 2 small cups in our room for me and my husband). Sure -there was starbucks coffee available for purchase ($11 for 2 venti cups!), but nothing available for free to hotel customers. This is virtually unheard of to not have free coffee in the lobby for hotel guests. All else was very nice - new furniture and charging outlets, nice bed and bathroom. However - no bathtub to take a bath. And though there was a small fridge in the room, there was no microwave.

We had an amazing experience booking with Courtyard by Marriott. It quickly became a favorite of all the places we have stayed. The breakfast attendants, especially Katie and Beth, were delightful and provided exceptional service. Located in the perfect place, very walkable and easy to commute to and from. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the Bistro everyday for breakfast and took advantage of the pool and fitness rooms. 10/10 experience.

It was my first stay there. Everything served our needs well. We did have to deal with an over charge on my card for parking due to a key punch error, but the employees were very helpful getting this fixed. Breakfast was delicious & every employee was doing a great job. One of the people on our floor kept making bumping & banging noises late into the night & we could hear muffled voices. Some signs of construction, but tastefully displayed. We would recommend a stay in the future & are open to returning ourselves. Thank you
