Sleep Inn Cedar Hill - Duncanville

The hotel was an unfinished hotel with a lot of concrete floors. I'm 65. If I had fallen over any obstacles, I could have ended up in the hospital and/or with broken bones. This facility is a hazard and should not be open until it has been completed and had state inspection!!! Why say below that I can add photos and the link does not work properly. In one area, there was a window open and later at night, it was still open. This is a safety hazard!!! This is one reason I left the hotel before midnight. I did not feel safe there. No security guard, no security alarms. I left to go get me food. Upon my return, I saw a man sitting on the floor about a door down from my room #121. When my partner showed up, he said the man was still sitting in the hallway just a tad further up. Regardless, I don't consider this a safe hotel. The front desk attendant probably doesn't consider it safe, because she had her male guest standing up front in the lobby. I could be wrong but I didn't know who it was. I'm handicapped. There was a work truck stationed in the lobby portico. Good thing I was able to walk around it and not feeling unstable that day. It could have been another reason for a hazard!! Seems MONEY is the concern in keeping the hotel open for business before it's completed, not the care and concern of guests!! I do have pics but could not attach them

Roaches everywhere in the room and bathroom. Dirty bedsheet with blood stain. Shower curtain so old and dirty. Back door could not be lock and anybody could just get in. Iron is messed up and stained my shirt. I would not recommend this place to anybody

Do not stay here. I repeat, do not stay here. The room had 3 beds for some odd reason. The door wouldn’t lock and anyone on the property could just walk into my room, unless I used the chain. I had to take my belongings with me everytime I left to go eat. The pool was dirty and not usable. They advertised a free breakfast and they didn’t have one.

Property was under construction. Residue powder everywhere. They made me pay a deposit even after I already paid for my room.

Nothing. Holiday stay. I remained there because I could not get a reservation for a cheaper price at that time. Hotel is under construction. The desk clerk said the work was being done on the 2nd floor, for me that means the top floor. Construction was on the bottom floor. The construction was the botton floor, my room was on the bottom floor. Staff was confrontational and agressive. Tried to charge me a $100 deposit which was implemented the day before I checked in after my reservation and payment was made. No ice, no refrigerator. Condiments for coffee but no coffee maker. I can go no about this experience. I was not good. Thanks Magnuson. I will not recommend this place that is suppose to be a place of peace and relaxation for a traveler or for just peace on a weekend.

I likes that it was right off Hwy 67 with conveviences in Cedar Hill and Dallas. Close to shopping and restaurants. Not like that the pool was small, bo elevator for 2nd floor stat, and people was hanging out that were staying or put out or hanging out in the parking lot.

I liked the location of the property. The first room I checked into was dirty, had a leak in the bathroom and was missing a microwave. The room overall just did not look clean. The staff did accommodate me and moved me to a different room the next day and that helped. The big disappointment was not being able to use the pool over my stay. It was one of the main reasons I chose the location but the pool was locked closed (although staff said they could open it) and it was very, very dirty. I would not have swam in that water if they had opened it.

We got to the hotel and checked in our room and there was blood on the comforter. The young lady at the front desk, reacted quickly and apologetic and got us into another room. When we got in that room the sink had dirt all over it, as if it wasn't cleaned. The young lady apologized again and called the manager to let him know. He acted as if he didn't care about her telling him that the rooms were messed up. He just yelled and told her to get them another room. No apologie or anything. We just into the 3rd room. There was some blood on that comforter. We couldn't believe it. We were so tired, that we just took the comforter off and went to sleep. We were in town for my Uncle's funeral and were too tired to keep dealing with it. I want to thank the front desk clerk for being so kind to us. She was a gem. I would not recommend to anyone to stay at this hotel.

This hotel is rated 9 but doesn’t even qualify for 6. The room have penetrated smell of cigarettes. Crazy smell of smoke. The room was not even clean. There were bed bugs. This is the first time I stay in hotel rated 9 and is worst than motel 6. I don not recommend to stay in this nasty place. I ask to be change to a different room and they refuse. I ask for my refund and the manager refused.

My room was non-smoking but it smelled horrible. Couldn’t really sleep. Restroom was dirty, toilet was nasty. Hair was all over. Linens smelled bad and had “small” hair all over and stains. Could not dare to make myself some coffee in the morning since the coffee pot was disgusting. There were little pieces of what looked like chicken between the bed and the cover. Fridge and microwave were dirty and sticky. And the towels had yellow and black stains. Luckily we brought our own towels. I needed a room for the entire weekend but we could not stay another night. Now we have to look for something more decent. Expedia did not offer a refund but a small “compensation”. Outrageous 😳

The bedding is gross and the bathrooms were more disgusting. Stained tubs and old smell

Parking Lot Clean and Well Lit, Staff Friendly, Rooms are 100 % out dated, Sheets are stained, carpet horrible, rooms are half clean, noise and lound bangs throughout the night, rooms above and beside arguing and baby crying OMG just horrible and NOT the best experience at all.

Would not stay here. Checked in left 15 mins later without a refund. Holes in the bed, smoke filled halls, the photos on the website were nothing like the actual hotel.

When we noted several issues that we found in our terribly filthy, broken down and I’ll supplied room it took more than half following day to come and clean it. When their house keeping came they were very polite and attentive to the issues. All through the day and night we heard the drone of a T.V. from the room next door that disturbed our rest and sleep. Plus there was much noise from the hallway outside our room. This was a very unpleasant stay.

The furniture was frayed , there are no microwaves in rooms, the manager owner is strange. Horrible experience.

The hotel staff was pleasant, helpful when we asked for an extra room key and ice bucket. But, you definitely get what you pay for here. When we walked in to bring our bags up to our room the door that separated the hall from the lobby was the only thing that kept the smell of Marijuana from the lobby area. (When checking out we let them know of the smell. They said it always smells like that.) The first floor had a water puddle on the carpet next to the vending mechines and ice mechine. The wall papar was coming off the walls in the hall and the room we where in. The carpets where dirty throughout the hotel. A few of our towels had what looked like lipstick of purple and red on them. Luckily the room was stocked with more towels. The beds where comfortable and had enough pillows. The room was about 93 degrees when we walked into it, and took till about 4AM to cool down to a comfortable 73-74 degrees.

Our stay was ok, but the room suppose to had a microwave which they said they were going to provide, but never did. Our door would lock most of the time when we was not there or when we was sitting in the room.

Had an issue with the card reader into the hallway on day 2, but the front desk worker took care of it. I like the Non-smoking policy for the hotel. A few fast-food places down the road. Biggest downside of the stay was the noise of the doors, especially at night time. Maybe find a way to make them not bang as loud, even when trying to close the door softly, it can still be heard. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, had a positive experience and it was great for the price.

Everything good just ac was off took 3hr to cool down the room from 9pm to 12 not good with this Texas heat

This is one of the worst example right or wi-fi system terrible and make my reservations and the people will come up to your room and come in and knock on the door and harassment because their system is down which is not my thought as a customer trying to say if we had pain or not and many times all they had to do and vote for the Christmas to come up and their payment is done very very unprofessional never ever again and try to meet for some type of thing being part 3 or 50 pounds but somewhere

I booked ahead of time for my grandma, he’s 65 years old. When he landed in Dallas he called the hotel to verify address and if they offered shuttle, they didn’t answer any of the times he called. He ended up getting another room at another hotel because he was unsure. I called to get a Refund and they didn’t answer still 3 days later. i was told by expedia there’s nothing they could do and my card would be charged for the full amount for a 2 night stay. Zero stars for zero communication or follow thru!!!

Front desk associate Bertha was great and very welcoming.

The manager cancelled my reservation in order to increase the room's price. That is deliberate theft. There was no WiFi. The hotel smelled like vomit and ash tray. The "breakfast" was almost but not quiet non-existent. Oh and the desk clerk was hostile.

The free breakfast sell was not breakfast at all. They might as well take it off as a selling point.

First room I checked into their was hair on covers. Management did change them out. As I was checking in while at work I left.(tub and toilet was clean). I returned that night after work and noticed that on top of the dresser were razed caps, trash and used Q tips. I went to management and he switched my room. Check those cover same thing hair and the comforter was dirty and had stains just by looking at it you can tell housekeeping had never changed it out in quite some time. Next morning got up for breakfast but as my luck would have it they say they don’t serve free breakfast. I was like well online it is being advertised that breakfast came with and I wasn’t discounted or given any breakfast. Had I know they really didn’t have breakfast I wouldn’t have booked this room

No breakfast..but great house cleaning staff

Staff was great! Very accommodating. Blankets and towels had cigarette holes. No breakfast. Overall an okay stay for the price.
