Vineyard Court Designer Suites Hotel

The one employee we met was friendly and helpful but seemed to be alone. The room was not very clean. Hotel is dated but making upgrades. If the pool is closed there should be a notice on the site. The courtyard looks like it will be nice when finished.

Very nice inside, there is a courtyard with a pool and a gazebo with music playing. Nice room with a kitchen and plenty of space.

I love the beauty of the courtyard. It is really so pleasant to go sit there. It is just like the pictures.And the pool was awesome!

We loved our visit! We hope one of our kids goes to TAMU …so we stay here. It would be great if the fitness room has key card access.

The stay was great. House keeping was nice, friendly, quick/quiet and did an amazing job. When I got to the room it smelled clean. It’s a a very homey environment. I just love love the view up stairs looking down at the pool and the gazebo. The music that played in the back ground was very soothing. Breakfast was comfortable. I stayed for 4 days and each time I went in for breakfast I was met with a smile and helpful staff member. No complaints here except I wish I could have stayed a little longer. It was just that comfortable. I really loved the pool area. They are pet friendly although I am not pet friendly I will say this… it didn’t smell pet friendly and I didn’t see or step in any dog poop. Which was an A+.

This is a delightfully unique hotel. Our room was a double king suite which included a kitchen (full size stove, refrigerator, and microwave). The courtyard was very quiet and cozy. Although our suite was a little dated, it was clean and had ample towels and toiletries. All 3 rooms had TVs (pleasant surprise) but they were small compared to other places we’ve stayed recently. WiFi was good and complimentary breakfast was much like other hotels offering free breakfast. We brought our 2 dogs and there was a large field outside the courtyard that provided ample room for them to stretch their legs.

Very accommodating for guests with pets. Since there is no elevator, having the front staircase unavailable for safety reasons is a real hardship for guests who have rooms close to the lobby but have to use the back stairs to access their rooms. Hope they get this situation corrected soon.

Really nice place, needs a little update on somethings in room, and if on 2nd floor alittle Hard with stairs to get luggage up, but overall is nice & great price

The staff was amazing and the overall property was good but under construction and the pool was not working and we really wanted to be able to spend sometime in the pool area relaxing but couldn't due to they had issues with pump. The room was not very clean and needs furniture replaced and new carpet and the floors need to be cleaned better and walls cleaned in kitchen area. The bathroom area needs better attention as well.

Daughters and I ended up with large amount of bed bug bites, when 1st reported they stated “didn’t see any, must be mosquitos”; when they appeared in sheets again, manager brought to room to verify. Had no other rooms available, did not reimburse us for our stay

Our stay was real nice , But I did see a couple of roaches in the kitchen area - The staff were very friendly, nice positive attitudes - thank you so much Stephane front desk Awesome person , God bless

Online photos did not reflect what we experienced. Very outdated. Terrible bed. Sticky carpet. Smelly room and heavy cleaning supply smell. Rusty and dirty bathroom. No elevator. Poor temperature control-either frigid or hot. We stay at a lot of hotels and this was the worst in recent memory.

The property looked dirty on the outside and was just as dirty on the inside of the room. The bedspread, sheets and shower curtain were dirty. I checked out in about 10 minutes. The pictures on the website are Apparently old. I would not recommend them. They also made me pay for one night because it was gross and we did not stay which I think was wrong. It is not my fault I was misled. Won’t happen again

This luxurious suite was the dirtiest and smelliest room I have ever seen. Vent covers were fuzzy with dust. Blood stain on the sheets. Smelled musty. Black mold in the shower. Rusty refrigerator. Just plain old looking. Photos online are not what you get.

Pool was green, room had tons of cobwebs, linens were very stained, couch was very dirty. No one was at the office when we arrived, called number and answering service informed me that my room key and info was under a cushion on the bench outside the office (including the room number and key code). Facility has potential, but needs to be maintained better in all aspects. I shouldn’t have to clean the room in order to feel comfortable for my stay.

Being an old vintage hotel, sometimes, there was water clogged in the bathtubs, bugs on the bed and there was no housekeeping service done during our stay to check the bedsheets & clean trash when they said they would. We liked them giving us a wine bottle being a VIP member.

I read the reviews about this place being "clean" and thought we could give it a try. We\'re in town for my puppy\'s surgery, and they were amazing when checking in. Helped us get a first-floor room. We drove 7 hours and were exhausted when we walked in. Went to grab food and then came back to really check out the room. There is mold growing in all the vents, stains on the bed, the sheets were gritty and dirty, the mattress protector looked like it had never been cleaned, nor changed! It was torn apart all over the place, and there was just hair and dirt and grime everywhere you looked. The AC didn\'t work at all. The sofa bed was stained yellow and had crumbs, hair, and other unknown substances all over it, so I refused to let my daughter sleep on it. I brought it up to the front after dropping my puppy off for her surgery, and they still charged us for another day. Not once did someone come to clean the room while we were out today. Honestly, I wouldn\'t wish my worst enemy to stay here. The first woman we dealt with last night was a sweetheart. The woman we had contact with today was rude and dismissive. I had even shown her the pictures. I\'m so disappointed because this place had really decent reviews! Please clean your rooms, guys. This was gross and added so much stress to an already stressful trip. 😞

“DesignerSuites” is stretching the truth a little. This is an old property that has only made it half way to “designer”. The room was very clean and beds were comfortable but additional heat is via space heaters. Light bulb in my bedroom was out and I had to stand on the bed to turn the fan down. (I’m a senior citizen). So overall the cleanliness and staff were both excellent but the property itself is in need of a good upgrade.

Very dated but I imagine it was absolutely adorable back in its day. Bed was rock hard and uncomfortable. Squeaked every time you even blinked so I didn't sleep well but I appreciated the hot shower with strong water pressure. I would stay here again if I was in a pinch.

The pictures were kind of misleading, looks a lot older in person, staff was very friendly, but most of our breakfast options provided by the hotel were SPOILED or stale. The couch was pretty dirty and the bed felt hard but hey the price and location are very convenient so i would come back if needed, its a place to sleep you know? But dont expect much from the rooms themselves. Again, staff was so kind and helpful!

This hotel has a unique Spanish style but overall is completely run down. Room walls and ceiling are thin. Road and parking lot noise could be heard all night. We could even hear the conversation of the people in the room above us. Floor grout had built up dirt, carpets were old and thin. Overall just an old run down feeling. Bed was comfortable. Having two separate bedrooms and a more apartment style was the reason we chose this hotel. However, it is not child friendly for example, dining chairs are bar height stools.

The A/C and heat are central and controlled by the hotel. They only turn on the heat when the temperature is below 45 degrees. It was in the upper 40s when I arrived and very cold in the room. They supply a small space heater so I was using that to stay warm. They finally turned on the heat around 10PM. By the middle of the night it was quite hot in the room. Starting out cold and ending up hot didn't make for a good night's rest. I tend to wonder what it's like in summer when it's 95. That said, the staff was friendly and it was clean and maintained.

Check-in was great staff is super friendly. The rooms are huge and I love that you actually have a full kitchen the outside courtyard you can sit out there and just relax. This is gonna be my favorite hotel to stay at now.

Nice place to stay. Give you that European feel. Only disappointment was that you couldn’t adjust the temperature in your room. Way too cold. Only way to change that was using a small space heater that was provided. Even that didn’t help that much.

Room was clean. Had some dust webs on fake plants but was okay with me. Refrigerator and kitchen very clean and enjoyed the fact the freezer had a ice maker, bathroom was as well. The room was a little old school with old furniture. Bed was very comfortable and ac was cold as ice. Love that they have ceiling fans. Only negative, just for convenience purposes, They have small tvs and no usb ports for charging phones ect. I think the walkway out to the pool and rooms is beautiful. Very quiet. I will definitely be staying there again. **Front desk lady was very friendly. Side note- Lobby coffee was cold.

Not good. My wife had to wait over 30 mins for someone to show up to give her the room keys. Once in the room heater didn’t work and a small portable also non working heater was left. It was 30° in the room. She couldn't shower because it was too cold.

At 9:30 AM (checkout is at 12:00) we were disturbed by an employee pounding on our door and demanding that we open the door for her. She told us that we had to leave because we had been smoking in our room. WE HAD NOT. When we refused to let her in, she called the police and four officers showed up. They told us the manager was throwing us out and waited until we packed and left the property. Then I was charged $150 fee above my $50 incidental deposit for the room. To sum up, we were thrown out of our room 2 1/2 hours before our check out time and charged $150 fee for smoking in our room. TERRIBLE WAY TO TREAT CUSTOMERS!

The setup of the room was quite pleasant, yet it had a lingering odor of stale cigarettes, which was surprising given that smoking is prohibited on the property. Upon entering, I noticed visible stains on the couch, and I was staying in the first lady suite. The initial staff members were very friendly, but the general manager, Victoria Jackson, was impolite, unhelpful, and biased. She was not only disrespectful to me but also to my guest. I certainly did not anticipate such treatment, especially since I travel frequently and usually book with VIP access. To be honest, people generally tend to be more courteous when you spend more money, but that was definitely not the experience here. It felt like a Cinderella story that turned into a disaster after midnight.

Upon check in we were charged extra for additional guest even though occupancy is 4. Also tried to charge us $15 more for a 2:00 check in when we call the day before and they said 2 with no extra fee. No VIP benefits

Unique was the Social Hours in the afternoon. They have wine and a charcuterie board. Rooms were very antique (Guess is the Hotel Signature). There were no front desk after 10:00 PM, if you miss your keys or they don't work, yiu need to call a phone number for assistance. That' a No No for me, cause whom hasn't has issues with your card keys to access your rooms in other hotels?

We’ve stayed at least 3 other times in the past 5-8 years. We have never had any issue until this visit. We originally booked the family suite, the GM Victoria called the week of our stay to let us know if was unavailable. We agreed to 2 separate rooms instead . Robin was at the front desk when we arrived and was so friendly getting us checked in. I noticed the property seemed more run down than I remembered. When we opened the first room door the smell of perfumed cleaner was so strong, we left the door propped open to let it air out. As we entered the second room we had to double check that we’d booked a non smoking room because it smelled like old cigarettes that someone attempted to cover with heavy perfume. I wish I had taken pictures but there were cobwebs, filth on the walls and what looked like cigarette ashes all over the black sofa. As we sat there with our 3 kids trying to figure out what to do our oldest (that has severe asthma and allergies) told us she was having trouble breathing. With 10 mins of arriving I was back in the front office returning my keys because of the state of the rooms. Robin was kind and told us the housekeeping staff use fabulouso because they like it to smell clean🙄 She also said it was an ongoing issue and we weren’t the first to complain. The GM Victoria wouldn’t refund our entire stay and threatened to call the cops when we arrived on site to try and get our first night refunded. Steer clear of this place. It’s not what it used to be.

Absolutely hated the staff and service. I loved the property and comfortable environment. The dark skinned young lady with glasses and colorful braids showed awesome customer service and was very nice and professional. The other staff members need a new profession they where so disrespectful and rude

I needed to check out by the earliest check out time at 630am and the office was still closed. I wasn't able to get a hold of someone on the phone until after 7am and I had an exam to head out to and didn't have the option to come back for check in person before the check out time at 12pm. This experience had me running late. Please ensure staff is available for what is posted for the hours of operation.

They people at the hotel were super friendly and welcoming!

This location is fantastic. Its close to restaurants and stores but far enough away to still be quiet and relaxing. Only a 5-10 min drive to campus.

We love supporting a small business. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is super convenient. Will make this our go-to for trips to CS over the next several years.

Stayed at this hotel because my pet was having surgery at A&M vet hospital. Hotel is very accommodating to pets. Convenient location, short driving distance to campus and restaurants. Friendly staff and nice courtyard. Area was quiet and felt safe. The room I stayed in was outdated and worn. The floors/carpet could use a good cleaning. Only recommend this place for short stay if traveling with pets.

Very cute hotel and our room had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable. Location was good and the room was quiet. We were given a free bottle of wine upon our stay and they had a cute little happy hour with free wine.

Lovely stay as ever very friendly staff and courtyard garden beautiful. Unexpected treat to have refreshments provided at 5.30 pm. Just a bit dated. Breakfast was continental.could do with a few hot dishes.

This is our go to place when visiting College Station. We love the friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are very comfortable and the Texas waffles for breakfast are a delicious bonus.

Loved the complimentary bottle of wine at checkin, the social hour charcuterie board and wine, the shady courtyard and pool area, and the welcoming hospitality of the staff. The property is definitely showing its age, however, and could use updated carpets and bathrooms at a minimum.

I love the kitchen & living area, with an option for a separate bedroom. The staff are always excellent, and the courtyard is lovely. This hotel is always peaceful and quiet. They also provide a complimentary breakfast and cocktail hour in the evenings.

Needs updating. Smells old & musty. Metal fixtures rusty Coffee pots empty both mornings. Milk and orange juice sour & expired. Waffle mixture mysteriously tasted of sourdough. Bakery items not fresh. Hot water dispenser had cooled.
