Cute hotel friendly staff and a great area with lots of restaurants.

Clean and comfortable rooms . Staff responsive to needs . I recommend valet parking since parking garage can be crowded

Valet was good, checkin at 11pm was terrible and incompetent, bar was good and helpful, room was clean but the WiFi didn’t work and therefore the TV didn’t work, 4th floor was under construction and floor was wrapped in plastic and loud because of construction workers. Nobody told us that The George was under renovations, not even at checkin. We have been wanting to stay here for years and we were thoroughly disappointed. Hopefully they will do better once the reno is completed. FYI, the restaurant next door is close and concrete, but they are not partners with The George. You cannot charge the bill to your room.

Updating the hotel that was the ONLY reason for the 2 stars.. It’s a great hotel with a great vibe.. just wish the restaurants around the square would stay open later… Other than that… great end to a great weekend!!!
