Lovely property located at in an upscale shopping center near the Texas A&M campus. Rooms are small, but comfortable. Be prepared for loud rock music to be played in the courtyard until 11:00 on a Saturday night. Good band, but very loud. Calling the front desk, or operator was very frustrating. My calls were unsuccessful so I had to get dressed and go to the front desk to get a question answered. She said she answered every call she got and was quick to blame me for not being able to hit the operator button on the phone. I then told her I also called on my own phone and no one answered. She denied getting a call! I’ll address this with the GM, but other than the late hour noise and the night desk staff, the hotel was fine. Small pool. The Canteen (bar and restaurant) is not well cooled. Too hot to keep the doors open.

The pool area has become a public pool full of people who are not staying at the hotel. I picked up trash around the pool. If you go in spring/summer months and want to enjoy the pool, be prepared to wait for all of the students to leave.
