This property did not meet my expectations set by Hampton Inn or Hilton Honors. Nothing except the attendant at the late arrival was on Par for a Hilton Property. The first thing we noticed was the elevator smelled like urine. Then arriving at out room we were revolted by the condition of the room. The room was damp and musty, and the carpet was literally in pieces. We resigned to not even walk barefooted in the room. We did not request another room due to the over full parking lot, but considered if sleeping in the car would be better. Two of the lights in the room had burned out bulbs, I know because I switched the bulbs with ones that were functioning. I do not think this review will accomplish anything but if someone reads the review and decides on another property then I have achieved my goal.

The staff was friendly, especially the breakfast guys. The breakfast was by far and above average free hotel breakfast. Fitness area small but had nice equipment. The room was clean from a sanitary perspective, but the hotel itself is in a rundown condition with paint peeling off the walls in the stairwells, elevators that need to be wiped down from sticky handprints, and decor that’s been around since the late 70s early 80s. We would stay there again but would encourage them to remodel.

This hotel is in such disrepair. Only one elevator worked, the pool was closed for repair and every square inch of this hotel needs to be refinished. Also, the rooms were small with low ceiling heights.

This particular property has been under renovation for quite awhile. While only cleaning every other is fine, we didn’t get fresh towels or cleaning the entire 4 days we were there. We had to call the front desk fresh towels. The rooms are small. All the furniture is old, but the office chair in the room is peeling and flaking.

The building is being renovated and should be closed down until the process is complete. Having this opened during this process hurts the Hilton brand. Smells bad, paint peeling from ceiling, one elevator is out of order, electrical wires visible, and the list goes on.

Extremely dirty hotel. The first room we checked into hadn’t been cleaned. Not sure if they ever clean the hotel: the hallways and floors hadn’t been swept or mopped in looked like weeks. The elevator seemed like it would break and the doors opening to the hotel were about to fall off the tracks. The room was gross. Luckily only there one night. WILL NOT BE BACK.

I live Hampton. This facility was very dated. Our room was clean but outlets were limited. We noticed telephone/wifi cables were stapled to the ceiling in the hallway. The bathrooms in the lobby area were not clean. It was a very busy weekend because of graduation. Just an older facility. Needs a major facelift.

Unfortunately my room was dirty (bathroom had men’s beard hair in the sink and fake eyelashes stuck to the floor) and the hotel needs major upgrades. The carpets are worn, wallpaper is peeling. Do not stay here as a single woman — you’re not going to feel safe

Found a bed bug on the pillow when I got up at 4:00 in the morning to go to bathroom pulled the sheets off of the bed and it looks like housekeeping only wash the top sheets and not the under sheets they were full of stains

The property needs upgraded badly. There were roaches in my bathroom HUGE roaches. Then to top it off, there was eaten pork rib bones on the floor in the elevator. The elevator was probably one of the dirtiest elevators I've ever been in (not including the rib bones). I'm an Honors Member and have never stayed in a Hampton Inn in this condition.

I don’t know how this hotel got Hampton Hilton on the sign. Bed is horrible. Springs in your back. Sagging. Not even a topper. It’s rough. The rooms are tiny. No curtains on the window. You’ll wake up in the night from the bright parking lot lights shinning in your eyes. The outlets don’t work so I hope you don’t need your phone charged. And you get 1 roll of TP. This was just terrible. There stains on the carpets. Wires exposed all through the hallways. Streaks of I don’t know what smeared in the carpet like they dragged something dark and wet. The bathroom mirror is most likely from dollar general. Did I mention the bed is horrible! I hope you like a Back ache !! Feels like it’s only springs poking out.

This Hampton Inn is not up to par. Definitely needs a complete makeover. Maintenance and cleanliness issues. The staff is really nice, but this is the worst Hampton. I’ve stayed at in terms of the property condition.

Pros: Clean, decent beds, no bugs, good shower, adequate breakfast. Cons: Too few and too small pillows, no extra blankets, and SUPER BRIGHT ALL NIGHT! No curtains and venetian blinds didn't block out the light well. The parking lot is super lit due to the parking garage next door and safety lights on the building which is fine, but they need curtains to block the light. My dog needed walked in the middle of the night because she thought it was morning! Bring an eye visor for yourself and don't bring your dog!

The beds are spring mattresses and not very comfortable. The bedspread is thin and worn out and did not provide much warmth. No additional blankets were available in the room. I recommend the TVs be upgraded to allow streaming services or at a minimum, casting ability to watch through the user's phone.

The front lobby staff were very helpful. My husband and I had moved our girls into their new townhome all day. Upon arrival, the parking lot was mostly full which was problematic because we had a trailer. The supervisor was very helpful in finding a solution. Would definitely stay here again!

If you want to stay in a convenient location at college station and be able to walk to eating places, this is the place. The hotel is older yet clean and comfortable. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. We liked the breakfast and free coffee.

The hotel is located in a really good proximity to where I needed to be. There are plenty of restaurants in the area so that's a plus. The hotel itself is pretty old and not updated. There are plenty of repairs needed. My room was damp feeling and dark, but clean and bearable.

Pleasant check-in with a warm cookie and at first the room seemed fine. Then we found old underwear from the previous guests, the bathroom door kept sticking shut so we couldn't get out, there was some white goo on the outside of the fridge, it rained and the water came into the room, the room and space were so humid that had a dehumidifier on all day and night, and most disturbingly, there were insects crawling on my comforter. The breakfast wasn't great. Eggs and sausage were inedible and the waffles take 2.5 minutes per person, so we had cereal and toast. It's close to campus and easy to park and the staff are friendly, but the rooms are in desperate need of a cleaning and full-overhaul.
