Stayed 1 night

Very bad my stay at the Hampton Inn College Station. I reserved a room with two beds. When I arrived, I was given a room with one bed and a sofa, and it took them time to review if they can gave me a room with 2 beds before I was given the room type I had originally reserved. When I finally got into the room, the toilet was not working and the water would not drain. There is also no hair dryer in the room, even though I specifically called the hotel before arriving to confirm that hair dryers were available. I reported all of this to the front desk, but they told me they could not move me to another room, could not provide a hair dryer, and left me with a non-functional bathroom, forcing us to use the lobby restroom. I find this completely unacceptable and I would like to file a formal complaint

The property was dirty and run-down. There were holes in the lobby walls. The room was not clean at all. I found a dried up contact lens in the bathroom, that was not ours. There was hair in the tub, again not ours. The room had a musty smell and the floors were not clean. The elevators were also dirty and not maintained. There was loud construction happening during most of the day and it was extremely loud in the room. Overall, the property was not taken care of. I will never stay here again.

Property is under remodeling. The inside of the hotel smelled and was dirty. It was hard to enjoy with such poor conditions.

Everything good, it’s just that the hotel is undergoing renovations and that is always a pain. Just bad timing.

Stayed 2 nights

The carpet needs replacing and the furniture updated.i.I added a night because Iwas suffering from lower back issues and did not feel able drive home to Jasper. Sadly I coupd not get the rate I had had Wed. & Thurs with Travelocity. And my Friday cost me almost a $100 more than Wed and Thur together. Thiat was disappointing. 81 yr old Senior.
