First floor only and clean rooms are good , fridge doesn’t cool , air unit takes too long to cool , pool is really a disappointment very small compared to ad picture and crowded with the same people for hours especially since it’s a very small pool and area is super crowded by the same family

Read my whole review to the end. I've stayed at this property many, many times over the last 6 years. I did tell my boss 6 years ago that I'll start getting my own rooms cause this place was disgusting and i felt safer in my truck. A year later i didn't have a choice cause a coworker got the room for 2 nights so i would have a place before heading home. Place was getting better. I dont always stay but when i do i see improvements everytime. This last stay was the normal weeknight $89 when others were charging $225 on a Thursday night. No idea why others were price gouging. This is an old motel that has transformed into the best place I've stayed in 6 years. My favorite feature is its one level horseshoe property. All parking is within the horseshoe property, so no dark back parking where you feel uncomfortable getting inside. Look out the window and you can see the whole parking lot. I feel safer here than i do at home.

Staff was friendly and professional. The rooms were updated, clean and comfortable. Parking area was conveniently located to the room and safe to walk around. It does flood if raining. The ice machine and drink dispenser are located by the office which is at the front of the parking lot. Breakfast buffet is make your own pancakes, cereal and an assortment of breads. The motel is conveniently located to just about anything you would need in Harlingen with easy on & off the freeway.

The restroom door was broken the breakfast was just toast cereal and waffels and there were baby cockroaches in my bathroom floor the pool also was super dirty was looking forward to swim but didnt

The motel room had dusty hair balls all over the place, by bedside, by toilet, by front door. There was a pubic hair on shampoo bottle. Clearly the place was not swept, moped, nor vacuumed. The bed did not have a fitted sheet. The room had no extra blankets, nor hair dryer, nor a full length mirror. Just subpar for the price of what I usually get at the price range.

I really liked that it has two king size bed per room at a real good price, and it was all great, clean, refreshing, peaceful... until 3 roaches showed up inside my room... one by the entrance door, one behind my bed... and other in the bathroom. Thats something disturbing... cuz one it's like... ok no problem... but three? I think the hotel needs to get a pest control service.

Wow, very impressive! Immaculately clean, and everything has been renovated beautifully, from the tile in front of the units to the landscaping to the office, and especially the rooms. Staff was very accomodating, and the breakfast was good. Definitely deserves the name "Best Value"!

The door had a gap in it better than a 1/2” thick could see daylight through the door! Checked in first night of 4 came back to the room second night key would not work! Lady said the person who did our key only programmed key for 1 night ! Not a huge deal but a little concerning!

I had never stayed here before but it was a nice surprise. The room was huge and had a separate living area and bedroom with a king sized bed. A tv in both rooms and very quiet. It also had delayed a/c units for each room. I will definitely stay here again.

The room was a suite with two separate rooms and a recently updated bathroom. Each room had an A/C-heater unit. There was lots of space. The microwave and refrigerators were relatively new and worked well although the fridge had no freezer section. it was a very comfortable room.

I had pre paid my stay for the 27th. I had called earlier in the day to let them know I wasn’t able to check in earlier . I was assured I could check in later due to room being prepaid. I get there and attendant made me feel like a liar. Telling me there was no room under my name. Told there was no rooms available. I looked up my emails provided all info and he still hesitated.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The room looked modern and clean. The receptionist and staff were kind! This is the only hotel I could find that did REALLY LATE check-ins that was perfect for me and my family who drove all the way from Dallas.

Area is usual southern Texas: highly motor vehicle centric, hostile to pedestrians and bicycles. But that's not ABV issue, it's Texas issue. That being said, the hotel is not very attractive from the outside but the rooms are clean and in good repair. I have stayed there twice and I will stay there again as I have recurring business in South Texas.

I really liked it 👍 I plan to stay there again in the future. What I liked most was how clean it was. For me, that's the most important thing. My only complaint would be that there was no microwave in the room and that they could include a little more variety in the breakfast.

I was happy with the office staff and room. Spacious and clean. Walls in room were in need of repainting and touching up. Breakfast was JUST continental! No hot food, no butter for toast, waffles or other items. No coffee selections.

Excellent experience. Everything was very good. From the cleanliness to the nice new hotel renovations. The only thing I didn't like personally, was the breakfast area. It is too small for a family of 6.

Over all everything is fine and clean. Water pressure in the shower was not the best and breakfast was dismal but the room was very clean and the property was as well.

Their advertisement for "breakfast" available was a stretch; there were apples, cereal and I believe maybe bread or a muffin. but the front desk person was nice and gave me water.
