Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Houston The Woodlands

The property was having roof repairs so it wasn't a great sight but otherwise it was an excellent stay. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was good and they had an excellent oatmeal bar. We didn't try the indoor pool but it looked appealing.

Great service and breakfast! Parking was difficult late at night.

The property was getting a new roof during my stay. They informed me in advance of that and didn't book me on the top floor.

This place was so convenient to the hospital. Lots of restaurants and right across from Walmart. The staff was absolutely wonderful. Had laundry room. Made my stay at the hospital less stressful.

We loved the pool, and gym. The area was very quiet especially since it was located next to 45

breakfast was good. Not happy about having to pay 12.00 to park at the hotel. That should be stated at the booking process

Property is a little dated but is obviously kept clean and well maintained. Really enjoy the indoor pool which is a great feature..!

I don't like surprises that were not aforementioned. When we arrived, one person at the front desk, as she was on the phone with "someone" speaking in mixture of Spanish and English. She looked up at us and continued that conversation. Might have been a work call. Don't know. 6-8 minutes later she said "I'll call you later I have some here." Then we were told there was a fee for parking. In a parking lot, unattended, self parking, to park our car at the hotel parking lot. Things were just a little "off" and the staff, were not engaging and that part I don't care but some will. So maybe this just wasn't the hotel for us! But PLEASE have the hotel reveal ALL prices and costs. I thought when we booked through Expedia and the price shown was the price to expect. I have no idea at this point.

Noise from the freeway kept me up all night. It was awful. The floors were dirty and I found several items from previous guests. I asked for and was given a late checkout, but when we got back to the hotel to freshen up, before normal checkout, we found our keys had already been deactivated. Positives: The beds were comfortable, one of the front desk personnel was nice (one was not) and the hotel was conveniently located next to restaurants and Bear Branch Park.

I already submitted a survey with the property and it was very detailed. I had some cleanliness issues in my room and I have pictures to show if they want me to produce them. We had a last-minute medical emergency that required us a quick sleep so we selected this place, but we will not be returning. There was mold in the toilet that was completely visible. When you opened the door there was a dirty shower curtain on the cotton exterior where somebody had grabbed their hand multiple times the stain was not new, it had been there for a while. The inside of the shower curtain had splashes of like dirt on it the blind, for the window was covered in holes. The carpet was dirty. There was a hair clip and hair of some unknown individual when we walked in the refrigerator didn’t keep cold and the area around the refrigerator is filthy. With that said I want to point out that there were some very nice ladies that work the front desk upon check in and check out as well as the breakfast ladies. The breakfast was really good considering. Upon first glance, the room look clean, but if you look closer it is not. The shower is in desperate need of updating, the biggest issue was having a sink not inside the bathroom you have to wash your hands after you wipe, and that was almost impossible. There is a small fee for parking which I did not like. The thing that probably bothered me. The most was the incidental charge. I was informed that money would go right back to my card and it didn’t.

We were put in a handicapped room when we did not reserve that room type. It was extremely difficult to wash your hair while taking a shower because of how low th handicapped shower head is. The bathroom was disgusting! There was pee all over the floor behind the toilet. There was something (probably pee) splattered om the bathroom floor. The sink bad solatters and hair in it. The curtain wouldnt close all the way, so headlights and other lights were very intrusive while trying to sleep.

Staff was very helpful, polite, and professional. Room was very clean. Property looks to have been recently renovated. Great location. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Plenty of parking.

This is a very nice hotel - super clean and convenient location. Breakfast was very good. This is a gem in The Woodlands.

It’s a dated property but the rooms have been remodeled and the same for the bathroom. It is very close to shores and a two minute walk to Walmart for food and anything you might need. Staff was nice.

Very convenient , lots of places around , beds are comfortable

It was a very difficult to sleep due to road noise. Also could hear sounds from guests next door and dog barking from floor above. maid service to clean, restock coffee, bring fresh towels and change sheets are only every other day. The free breakfast isn’t worth staying for. Was charge $24 for parking for a 2 day stay in a basic parking lot with no security. Not sure what the parking fee is for. The only positive of the stay was comfortable beds, bedding and pillows. Plus it’s close to great shopping. I would not stay at this hotel again. It definitely didn’t have the quality of the Marriott brand that I am used to.

First room we were in the toilet and tv were not working properly and did not have a microwave turns out only the suites have those which is a first. Got them to get us into a suite. The fridge did not work in that room it kept freezing everything thing. To top it off only room service once in a week stay and they didn't even change the sheet. Tried to talk to the manager and they wouldn't give any sort of money back stating they cleaned the room properly. Never stay here again

We've stayed here a number of times, and looked forward to staying there again. But... 1) Tiny little ants had the run of the bathroom. 2) When the electricity was going off and on because of the weather, they turned off the elevator. However, once the storm had passed and the electricity was solidly on, they didn't turn the elevator back on. They responded to our inquiry, by saying they couldn't get hold of a repair man to "fix" it. (My husband being a certified & experienced commercial building engineer, knew that they just needed the manager to return and turn the elevator back on. He was proven right when that actually happened.) I, having had 6 back surgeries and being forbidden by the surgeon to walk up or down stairs, was forced to take stairs to the 2nd floor. 3) While the elevator was turned off, we sat & waited in the lobby, where we were able to witness how unprofessional the receptionist was. She gave out someone's room number to a visitor, rather than calling up to the guest's room for approval; she was "short" and approaching rude to the people on the phone. 4) The waffle iron in the breakfast area is too old and needs to be replaced. It burned breakfast for numerous guests while we watched. (The kitchen staff, however were all very friendly & helpful throughout our week long visit.) 5) The manager walked around and visited with each guest during breakfast, which was nice, but she talked so loudly that it was hard not to hear every word and to focus on our own

In walking distance to Wal Mart and a good American restaurant! Staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean. Breakfast buffet was great with sausage, eggs, potatoes, gravy oatmeal, waffles, yoghurt, bagels, coffee, juice ... The pool was warm and felt nice.

All staff were so kind and the place was clean, just an overall great stay. I would like to specifically mention Michelle who was SO SWEET AND CARING while pulling a double at that!! She just always was so happy and welcoming every time I passed by the desk. Our A/C went out while we were out at a concert due to the bad weather that’s been in the Houston area recently and Michelle happily moved us to an open room that night when we realized it was no longer working upon our return. 10/10 great stay the hospitality was awesome.

The lady at the front desk is super sweet and was so quick to get anything we asked for.

It all started with the lack of customer service. The front desk was left unattended for over 10 minutes causing over 5 customers to not be able to check in upon arrival. Once getting situated into the room we found out the tv was not working. The staff didn’t offer much help. Then the neighbors above were making a lot of noise and the staff didn’t address the issue. Overall not great service.

Breakfast items ran out before I could eat. Not well stocked. Bathroom vent sounded like a lawnmower and came on automatically with light. Bed had busted spring. Overall condition of hotel and room was unimpressive and dated.
