Nice downtown Hotel, close to everything. Only gripe is that on Hotels.com it listed the parking as free, but it is actually $25 per day and the parking garage is very low. Sign says 6'5" but is lower, and I actually scraped my roof a little and had to back out and park across the street.

The pool was freezing! We booked with this hotel so we would have a pool for the kids to enjoy and it was so cold they didn’t want to swim which is a little ridiculous for an indoor pool. The gym was fantastic though! Not a fan of the tiny weird shaped garbage cans in our room or the fact that there way no fan in the bathroom. Customer service was great though as well as breakfast.

It wasn’t the greatest … after traveling all day you really are hoping for an easy and enjoyable experience when you get to a hotel. Staff were kind but seemed rather annoyed at my questions and my feedback about parking. Parking is a nightmare if you have any kind of vehicle over 6’2 or in another lot 6’9. The structures they use are not owner or operated by the hotel and any large vehicle is stuck parking outside in an unmonitored lot. Valet and Self Park are the same lot, same type of monitoring - only difference is one they park your car for $40 or you park your car your self for $30. Though having a pool and jacuzzi is nice and it is indoors - the jacuzzi is not the cleanest or warmest. There were clumps of other peoples hair getting stuck to us when we turned the jets on and the thick layer of bubbles created by the jets are a clear indication it hasn’t been cleaned in a while. The rooms also very clearly allow smoking or haven’t been cleaned or aired out if they suspect smoking. Overall - for a Hilton it wasn’t nearly up to my experience standards of other Hilton locations and if needed I would choose a different location to stay.

Overall I had a great stay at Hilton Salt Lake City Center. However, the daily parking is pretty expensive compared to other hotels in the area and the parking garage has 6\'4" height clearance. My vehicle is taller than the height clearance so I could not park my vehicle in the parking garage and had to opt for public parking in front of the hotel which was also pretty expensive and inconvenient.

Note that you do not get your room cleaned unless you stay there 5 nights. 5 NIGHTS! It's ridiculous for the amount I paid, over $450, to not get my amenities refreshed and a cleaned room. Yes, you can call for towels, but what a pia. Seriously disappointed. And there was mold in the shower area and a broken hook. It's tired, needs some TLC. Beds were comfortable, even if you don't get clean sheets.

Check in was cold and rude. I was told the room wasn’t available at scheduled checkin time and the host made little to no attempt to accommodate. I proposed switching rooms to avoid waiting “Who knows how long… could be an hour, could be more.” Room wasn’t anything impressive and we found dirty panties from a previous guest on the floor by the window! Unacceptable.

Housekeeping didn’t do a great job in my room. Another guest's room key was on the dresser, a dirty washcloth on the bathroom counter, and used bar soap in the soap tray. The hotel bar soap packaging still in the bathroom trash. Staff offered to change my room, but I was only staying one night. I made the best of it.

Very much below the Hilton standard. Location is all that this location has going for it. Room was extremely dated. Wallpaper peeling, curtains off their track. We were greeted by a pile of dirty linens outside our door. Our room was never made up the following day despite being free for all but one hour. The heater/fan in the room rattled. This was honestly very poor quality for the price paid.

Overall, I had a great experience at the Hilton Salt Lake City Center. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was 7.5/10 nice, the overall hotel was well kept and clean. One note - I decided to go on a hike one of the days that I was there and actually developed some bad blisters, so I called the front desk to see if they had any band aids that they could deliver. They were at my door within minutes, and it is obvious that they care about their guests and providing great service. The only issue that I experienced was with the hot water in my shower. I noticed the first day that I got there that the shower wouldn't get very hot, but didn't complain about it and figured that 'it is what it is'. They did eventually deliver me a note/letter informing me that they were having an issue with that floor and the hot water output, which I appreciated.

Great location, customer service and workers are amazing. Helped with issues and quick responses. (Had broken towel rack and blood on blanket, fixed immediately). But rooms super loud. We could hear every word from room next to us and they weren’t being loud. Beds not the best (but that is personal preference). I never did get a hot shower,also one day water pressure was horrible. The breakfast costs us $65.00. Not even worth $30. Workers in kitchen super nice, but total rip off. I feel like for the price of everything, nicer places to stay. Will stay somewhere else next year. Hats off to gentleman that held our bags and got us a ride to airport though!

Short walking distance to everything from shopping to food options. Ample parking and Avis rental car drop off. Room was nice but also of the fixtures needs repairs - towel rack, sink faucet and toilet seat cracking. Comfortable King bed, no issues Central heat/cooling Good water pressure

Check in lady was rude, she asked for my name and when I told her she shook her head at me and looked at me up and down and said “so actually here’s where we’re going to start we’re going to start with a photo ID” and shook her head at me again. I know I needed my ID, but it was how she said it and she ignored my name as if she didn’t ask for it. She said it with a lot of attitude and her body language showed it too. Not a great impression 😊

New Year’s Day tried to check in later than 3 pm. I was told I didn’t have a reservation. However I paid for the room for Nye as well as New Year’s Day. Front desk was rude. Complete loss of 490.00. Was told they cancelled my reservation for checking in late. I’ve never had that happen and I stay in many hotels. I won’t use their property again, or Expedia.. they were no help either.

Just found I was double-charged for the breakfast by the waiter in this hotel. I had two tickets for the breakfast. I brought my two children to hotel's breakfast. The waiter charged me an adult's price. I signed the check and put it on my room. Then I realized it should be a kid's price and asked another check and paid it with credit card. I asked the waiter for the previous one and he told me it was shredded. But now (12/29/2024) I found it was charged.

Got to the room and the a/c was out and they immediately switched our room. It was clean and got cleaned. Breakfast buffet was good but a bit pricey for what I ate. I left my clothes in the closet, called the next day, filed a missing clothes report, heard back the next day and my clothes are on their way back to me! TY Hilton SLC!

The 1st gentleman we spoke to checking in was rude. We got to the hotel 10 minutes before check in & he said you have to come back we can’t help you till 3:00 however he checked in people behind us. I went to a different person & she was amazing & checked us in.

The staff were absolutely amazing! From checkin to checkout - they were super helpful and gave us great tips on how to get around town as well as where to go. The hotel itself was great! The rooms were clean and the amenities (eg pool) were awesome. Would definitely stay there again!

We had several friends plus ourselves, staying at this property for a night out on the town. The air conditioning was not working well at all. It was extremely hot in the hotel. I feel like what we paid their air conditioning should be working. We also went to go to breakfast in the morning their cheapest breakfast seem to be around $30 a person I found that extremely pricey for breakfast. The hotel stay was OK. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were great, but I feel like for the price it was overpriced.

We stayed for 3 nights over the Thanksgiving weekend. All of the staff we interacted with were amazing. Had a king room & it was very comfortable. The tv was huge & we enjoyed it to watch lots of football games! We could easily change the temperature of our room so that was great. Bed was comfortable & shower was also great & clean. The breakfast buffet was awesome. Had so many choices. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Just stayed for one night while passing through. Really nice property. The staff was all very friendly. Do not get the pizza inside the hotel restaurant, it was probably the worst pizza I’ve ever had. Aside from that the rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable.

The Hotel was worn. Not shabby but on the verge. The Restaurant/Grill food was overpriced and not very good. The service -- at least 2 of 3 times -- was not good. Only ate there because I was working at a conference and was so tired by time I got back to hotel, I didn't have strength to venture out into the dark, cold weather.
