I was told the shuttle would not come to get me as they didn't run it during teh middle of the day. Last i checked there were planes going in and out of SLC from early in the morning to late in the evening so shouldn't there be a shuttle available at all times ? Very disappointing and I will never stay there again.

The front desk was not very helpful. We had to yell to get their attention as I think the person was in the back on their computer. It happened to us and several other people who came in. In addition, the shuttle to the airport didn’t show up in the morning and we had to get a Uber. They said that they would discount our hotel by the amount, but it didn’t show up as a discount.

We stayed here prior to flying out and arranged the hotel shuttle to drop us off and pick us back up when we returned. Drop off was perfect. Justin was amazing, personable and very helpful. Pick up never happened. We called the hotel when we arrived at the airport, and after some back and forth, the gentleman from the hotel actually just hung up on my husband. When we called back, he put us on hold for over 5 minutes, when I finally hung up and tried a 3rd time. This time Isaac answered and informed us that there was no shuttle pick up from 1-4, and we were out of luck. This is AFTER we had arranged the pick up before flying out. Horrible customer service on their part and not impressed with being hung up on.

Dirty blankets. Heater broken had to change rooms then in middle of night our heater wouldnt turn off the AC so we froze had to go down get a portable heater and extra blankets which they made us come and get instead of bringing it up to us. Lady told us hot tub was working it wasnt it was ice cold and the in door pool was freezing as well.

Staff were friendly. If you need a clean place to sleep, it’s fine. There were few glitches. Staff didn’t have a record of the airport shuttle we scheduled for the following day. Good thing I checked! After multiple attempts by us and staff to get the key card to work we were finally moved to another room. An elevator was out of service and it didn’t appear it would be fixed anytime soon. Everyone can use an extra walk, but schlepping luggage up to the 4th floor might not work for everyone. The wiring on the one and only treadmill in the exercise room was pulled out, rendering it unusable.

Just stopped in after a long day of driving… clean, spacious, and comfortable. Door by pool’s key thing didn’t work with my keys and the treadmill was broke in the gym, but other than that, fine for the cost.

The hotel was filthy. Trash left outside of rooms down the hall we stayed on all night. The bathroom door was broken so it wouldn’t shut. Cobwebs in the corners, carpet was torn and frayed, as well as dirty Kleenex in our room under the desk. Checking in was a nightmare. Another persons information was left on the counter where anyone could see it. When I gave it to the lady at the front desk and said it was left there, I gave her my name which she ignored and kept looking at the paper saying there were no rooms left, I told her I booked a week ago and gave her my name again to which she finally found my reservation. The beds are very uncomfortable. Would never stay here again or recommend it to anyone. We left asap in the morning.

Lobby looked fine. Upstairs hallway was dark and depressing. Felt like they were covering up the shabbiness. Carpet had stains everywhere. Bathtub had a liner to keep you from slipping that was brown - we couldn’t consider showering there. The lock to our door was broken so that we couldn’t get into our room without assistance. My sister stayed across the hall. She thought her room was much better/cleaner. At least her door unlocked …. The staff was very nice but I wouldn’t go back

I stayed here for two nights not once did they come to clean my room. They also never brought us towels we had to go ask for them. I also had a blood stain on my comforter. The hot tub was spraying cold out of the jets, and it was freezing cold. The front desk also said there was nothing they could do about it. Front desk also said there was nothing they can do to fix the coke machine and I still got charged for the drinks though it never vended anything for me. They just seemed like when we asked for things it was an inconvenience for them. So, I give this hotel a 2 star.

This La Quinta, in my opinion, is filthy and smells if urine. My room was filthy, dirty walls, dirty carpet, paint chipping, smelled horrible. Easily the worse La Quinta i ever stayed at. Smelled like your walking skid row. Lots of homeless in the area. This facility is old and dated. I would not recommend a stay her. The check-in clerk was pleasant and helpful.

Fast check in, excellent location, clean room that they were able to put us on the first floor as requested, and excellent breakfast. We stayed one night for under $100 and didnt have to pay an additional fee for our three dogs. Highly recommend this chain and this location in particular.

Dirty carpets with big stains. Breakfast was cold. The check in girl had her dog behind the counter, she then walked the dog through the breakfast area while we were eating. Iffy neighborhood, someone sas selling shoes out of their van. While sitting in the pool area, we had the door propped open, an employee walked up and deadbolted the emergency exit closed.

100 degrees and no AC. bed was lumpy..room was sweltering hot. no desk or workspace. Worst of all...they knew. when i checked out the person at the desk told me these issues had been reported earlier in the week. This was my second bad experience with La Quinta this week, so i wont be booking with them again anytime soon.

The beds were comfy. The room was clean but lacked a bathroom fan, so the mirror stayed fogged until we got back from breakfast. Plus the shower temperature fluctuated too hot and then too cold several times without changing the handle position..

I love La Quinta, generally they are my go to motel in a town I'm new in. And this one was like the rest: well done, comfortable, quiet... but in today's world, to have a broken wifi, or one that the staff wanted to change the setting on my devices [though not that I understand the problem, not sure that would have worked]... and it seems this had been a known problem for some time - weeks?? - and allowed it to persist: totally unacceptable... wifi would not connect to any android phone, or any device using Chrome as a browser... was able to work around it the last morning there by connecting with Edge, and then going back to usual... but for 3 days minus the last morning, in a foreign city, only connection to the internet was by tethering off my phone and running up the gigabytes bill. The other two La Quintas I stayed at on this cross-country trip did not have this problem. Management here for allowing this to persist for this long, and sullying the brand's reputation really need to be replaced.

The room itself was ok, the beds were ok comfort wise, just more a full bed and not a queen. The 2 big issues were: The connecting door to another room was so thin that you could hear the people in the other room like the door was not closed. The other issue was that the door to our room would not easily open even when the key was saying it was working. Others had issues with the doors too.

I have never complained about a property. I've stayed at this property of couple of times with no problem. This time. There was a problem. I had no Wi-Fi. My TV was messed up the telephone, didn't work? I only had one outlet. I could plug my phone in for charging. The other ones were completely shut down. The one lamp was jerry-rigged with electrical tape. I had 2 lights in the whole room.

We were amazed by the customer service that we experienced during our stay. Justin at the front desk was awesome, he went above and beyond to make our stay great, even gave recommendations for dinner. The pool and hot tub were great after a couple weeks of hiking. Usually I expect an "airport hotel" to be poorly managed and in bad shape and was pleasantly surprised. Thank you!

The stay overall was not terrible. The check-in process was poor. The girl who helped us get checked in did not know what she was doing, which would have been perfectly fine, but she was also very rude. It made the experience negative right from the very start. The hotel itself was great. Clean, spacious and very quiet.

Yikes, this place is the worst LaQuinta we have ever experienced. Both front desk ladies we interacted with acted like they hated their job and the rooms feel dated and old. There are better options by tue SLC airport in the same price range.

I can't really call this a stay, because when I arrived for my reservation at about 10:30 PM, I arrived to a lobby with a room full of people sitting in all the chairs where I guess people normally have breakfast. Turns out their 'system' was down, and they had no way to help anybody. I guess they have no contingency plan for if this happens, and some people had been sitting there for a couple hours i was told . The front desk was absolutely no help, they just said there's nothing we can do, and told us we could wait until the system was up or we could cancel our reservation. after about an hour and a half of waiting I canceled and found a room at the hotel next door for about 70% of what this hotel charged. It's unbelievable that they do not have a plan in place for if their system is down and they can't just assign you a room or something. Or that they can't coordinate something by telephone with an office somewhere and give us our room key...and their reaction to the problem was really juvenile and almost like we were in their way because we couldn't just simply check in and go to our room. one of the worst experiences I have ever had on this app.

I was deeply disappointed when the airport shuttle - the whole reason we stayed here-- left without us even though we arrived early for our pick up. I was traveling alone with two young children and received limited help when sharing my situation. The front desk person lamented that the driver just wasn't very reliable -- i realize this wasn't her fault (and driver was very rude to her on phone! Terrible!), but given the high stakes of missing a flight with kids, full flights, etc I was disappointed by the lack of support solving a problem that was caused by LQ staff. After waiting for 30 min I finally resorted to sprinting around w luggage and kids to nearby hotels in the hopes that one of them would have a shuttle. The room was not very clean-- the bathroom tiles had built up mildew and there were coffee stains on carpet under the coffee maker. There were several hairs in beds and bathroom. The pool looked very dirty -- possible it was just stained and not harmfully dirty, but I felt nervous for my kids the whole time we were in there. The breakfast was great and the women cleaning the dining space seemed wonderful and hardworking. Honestly, if anyone stays here for shuttle, they'd need to have a back up plan. With the SLC airport under construction, we had to walk for 15-20 min (kids) to our gate and cut it very close. We would have missed our flight without the help of the Hilton's shuttle. That would have been a super costly and professionally detrimental situation.

The front desk gal was not there when we arrived at 7:30 pm. We said “hello”, “is anyone here” multiple times… even raising our voices towards the office. We walked around and didn’t find anyone. Finally, we called the hotel and a voice answers!!! We told we had been standing in the lobby for 10-15 minutes and needed help. She stormed out if the office and in a very rude voice says “You could have knocked!” (Not sure what we should have knocked on as the door was open to the office…but apparently she only hears knocking). She then proceeded to check us in without speaking to us at all. She does not belong in the hospitality industry!!!

Upon check in, it seemed as though we were a bother to the lady at the front desk. She didn't have a name tag and looked sloppy. The hotel itself is higly outdated and very rundown. The pool area was dirty and the chlorine was so bad it made our skin burn. The ac made strange noises. Our room, although outdated was decently cleaned by staff. The next morning I noticed 2 unauthorized charges on the credit card, Issac at the front desk was quick to fix that error, and was very friendly. Breakfast was below average.

The property was pretty clean except around the pool area. The pool lights were not working and could not swim at night. The coffee was cold every time we tried to get a cup. The breakfast was very limited with very little options. There are no restaurants around the hotel unless you want to go inside another hotel. I didn't like that they charged you and extra $100 they would take 5 days to get credited back to your account after you checked out. I usually like La Quinta Hotel but not sure will stay with them again.

Room was nice, staff was nice. Room needs a few cosmetic repairs. Very disappointed in the breakfast. Waffle machine not being available. Milk sour, biscuits & gravy the gravy I could not eat. Not sure what they had done to it.
