Great place near the airport. The shuttle was great to get me for an early flight and also a service to store your car while you are away. Great for a trip to the east for a tourist like me.

I initially booked here to be close to the airport and needed a hotel with a shuttle. The shuttle only runs a very limited time so I ended up having to uber. That should be listed in notes about the hotel. The hotel is falling apart too. I had to listen to the tub leak all night, and hoping to get in a workout before take off only to have the treadmill not work. I would not recommend this hotel.

Microtel has been dishonest and will not make things right. Expedia states the shuttle service runs until 11pm. I needed a shuttle at 9:30 pm from the airport and was placed on hold for over 10 minutes. I finally called again and they said the shuttle stops running at 9pm but they must not have updated their info. I fly for work and needed a reliable shuttle service. They suggested a Lyft. I would not have booked with Microtel had a shuttle service not been listed or accurate hours. Lyft rides add up going to and from the airport multiple times a week. I sent screenshots of their listed shuttle times to Expedia and was told to book elsewhere. Now Microtel is refusing a refund and still displays misinformation. If you need a shuttle or honest hotel, look elsewhere. This was my second terrible experience with them. Go to La Quinta if you need an affordable hotel by the airport. They have a shuttle and are commuter friendly.

Disappointing, we stayed to park our car and fly out of salt lake airport. Called hotel to make sure they had shuttle and could park car there. When we got there and paid to park car, we were told that last shuttle to airport is at 8:00 a.m. We didn’t fly out until noon, so had to go early. The return flight was around noon, so we had to pay uber to get back to hotel. We would of made other accommodations if we were told when we called.

I called when I landed and the reception said the van would be there to pick me up in 8 minutes. After 30 minutes I called again and they said they stopped shuttle service for the evening. No apologies were made. After traveling 24 hours and waiting 30 minutes for the shuttle, I had to take an Uber (all my traveling companions were long gone by the time I found out I needed a ride). The hotel is very old and in desperate need of refinishing. Not so dirty as just decaying.

We stayed here our last night before an early morning flight out of SLC. The hotel was exactly what we needed. Clean, and right next to the airport. They have a complimentary shuttle service to the airport. However, it only runs from 4am-11am, then restarts again at 5pm. We got there around noon and had to return our rental car by 2pm. Since the shuttle service was not running midday, we had to Uber our way back to the hotel from the airport. A little inconvenient, but not the end of the world. There was a small restaurant very closeby, as well as a gas station to fill up before returning the rental. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again for a night before flying out.

Easy drive close to airport and rental car returns. Breakfast is ok. Basic complimentary foods. Staff very friendly and nice. Hotel very clean. Cleaning people cleaned all day around the lobby elevators hallways etc...i stayed 3 nights. They are near restaurants to eat also.

Our cover to our air conditioner kept falling off it looked broken, we wiped all surfaces in our room and they were gross, my husband woke up with a random piece of scotch tape on his back from the bed.

I will always remember walking into the bathroom at night and seeing a cockroach sitting on my toothbrush. I was surprised the reviews were as good as they were. The hotel was rough, ripped, stained carpets through the halls with a funny smell that would remind you of your elderly great aunt’s house. Could hear the guy next door coughing all night. Shower was cracked and stained and could only get slightly warm water to come out. Breakfast was pretty bad too, I feel kind of bad writing this review because the lady checking us in was so nice, that’s why i gave it 2 stars instead of one.

I stayed in room 105. It smelled like mold and was hot and humid. I had issues with the toilet and told the front desk. They then told me that they were having issues with it before. Not a very pleasant stay will not stay again.

I booked the hotel for a night stay during my long trip. Check-in went smooth. Room was terrible. No sun-block curtains. AC was too noisy. Faucets were gushing the water. I couldn’t sleep well. This can be booked for its convenience and lower price but not for relaxation.

No one was at front desk for awhile when we got there, i loved the layout of our room though(it had a padded windowseat) but the mattress and pillows were very firm. If i hadn't brought my own pillows i wouldn't have been able to sleep well. The AC ran perfectly though and i loved that it stayed on constantly and didn't turn off and on all night like some hotels do.

I liked the window seat. But the room lighting was poor. there were no lamps or lighting to read in bed. And the light switch was located in the closet! Weird.There wasn't enough seating for breakfast. Only coffee, cranberry juice and lemonade available to drink. So we left with out eating. Probably wont go back thee again.

We needed a place to stay close to the airport the night we flew in before starting our trip farther south. This hotel did just that! The room was small but had everything we needed and the bed was fairly comfortable. It was nice that breakfast was included in the stay. If you are looking for a place close to the airport and just need a place to rest your head this definitely fits the bill.

This was a horrible hotel experience. There was no shuttle to pick us up from the airport, and I was standing outside with my daughter for an hour trying to get a hold of the front desk, who put me on hold when they did finally answer. She was rude and short, and unhelpful when she told me the shuttles stopped at 9pm At 1am she asked me for my daughter’s ID, who is 13. The time frame she gave us for the shuttle the next morning was different than the website and different than posted in the lobby. The room itself - there was nothing deluxe about it. The curtains are so old they’re torn and do not block the light out, the pillows are the worst I’ve ever slept on, the refrigerator had to be unplugged in the middle of the night because it started screeching. The bathroom light/fan is like a car engine, and this morning it sounded like our neighbor was showering in our room because the walls are so thin. This room and the front desk professionalism was a 2, not a 7.5 like advertised, and I would like Expedia to refund the expense.

I checked in a 8pm and asked for a late checkout. I was offered a noon checkout by the very nice woman working the front desk and was told there would be no charge unless I wanted a later time. I said noon was great! Despite this, I was woken up four! times before 11am. The first time was the front desk calling my room at 9am! to tell me they would be testing the hotel alarm system, which took place shortly after. The next two times was housekeeping knocking on my door despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign I had put outside. And the fourth time was the manager pounding on my door right at 11am *yelling* at me that I had to vacate the room immediately. I was very upset that I had been woken up a fourth time despite me scheduling a late check out and she and I started shouting at each other through the closed door. I explained to her that I had requested the late check out and she said if that was the case I would be charged $25. I told her there was no way I was going to allow her to charge me for this since 1. I had been told there wouldn’t be an extra charge and 2. I had been woken up several times already that morning. At this point she tried to enter my room which is absolutely unacceptable! Thankfully I had the safety “bolt” in place which prevented her from opening the door. She yelled at me that she was charging me the late checkout fee and left. Knowing I wasn’t going to get any more sleep, I packed my things and was out of the hotel by 11:30am.

I must say that Alex was very attentive. He signed me up long distance and did all the work for me and my spouse. Also got me a 10% discount at Roberts Restaurant. I noticed he had a very upset customer when I went for a question. He handled it very professionally and never gave in to lowering himself to the angry guest. The guest was upset at the people that had his truck and did not repair it when it was promised but Alex lent his ear and let the customer vent. Alex is definitely a people pleaser. I would love for him to work for me. We need more people like Alex. You guys at Wyndham Are very lucky to have him.

This property is very convenient to Salt Lake Airport. In fact, you can watch the planes land from the back of the property. Our room was small but clean, the parking was good and breakfast was available. The downside is that there is no place to walk to to get food and we turned in our rental car in the night before we flew out. Also, the airport shuttle had limited hours when we were there (3/31and 4/7). Even though the shuttle driver was sitting in the lobby he was not allowed to take us to the airport. We assumed it was because he was only getting paid for a set number of hours. We would stay there again because of the cleanliness and convenience to the airport.

We stayed here based on area, breakfast being included and the Wyndham name. Don't be deceived. This place is run down, low on staff and I would NEVER eat there. They literally had an open pot of oatmeal sitting in a closet for 2 days.

We stayed because he was close to the airport. Check-in easy, staff was friendly. We got the "lucky" room across from the elevator. Quite noisy, not unbearable, still not desired. Went down for breakfast, breakfast "person" didn't show up, nothing but cereal. We passed, the clerk was very kind & apologetic, I felt badly for him.
