Got stuck in the elevator. Pool was not open

Despite being an airport hotel it doesn’t offer ongoing shuttle service to the airport but only one shuttle an hour from 6 am to 10 pm. As a result we had to take an expensive Uber to drive 6 minutes from the airport to the hotel. We called the hotel twice during the day to keep them up to date about the time of our arrival and the person who answered the phone was not really polite or willing to help.

Shuttle service

Airport shuttle service was quick and easy-nice, clear communication from hotel regarding the pick up.

We didn't stay at this hotel because their pool and hot tub were broken. The guy said it was on the website that it was broken but I didn't see that anywhere.

The pool was closed and the staff wasn't friendly. There were several things that seemed unkept. A ceiling tile missing with a bucket under it. The ice machine on the first floor was out of order. The elevator was out of order, the equipment in what they called the gym...which was a very small room off the pool that was full indoors, but out of season was dirty and very unkept.

I liked that the room was cold when I checked into the hotel. The fan/AC stayed on all night another bonus. My biggest complaint was I could not find a schedule for how long their shuttle ran into the evening. The shuttle only goes until 10:00pm my flight was later than that. I was frustrated that the reason I booked the hotel (shuttle) was not running when I needed it and I had to pay for a $20 Uber for a 3 mile drive. It was not a great building, although the room was not bad at all.

Its clear that they are in the process of renovating and while our updated room was clean, many of the advertised amenities were not available. Specifically the pool, which was the main reason i chose this hotel. We were not informed before or during check-in that it was unavailable. I googled the hotel the night we checked-in & found out(unfortunately after we had already paid) that the pool was broken & it still showed it as an available amenity. There were also broken ice machines & broken washing machines. People should be told the truth when making online bookings & at very least at check-in BEFORE they pay for something that isn't available.

Elevator broken and staff was unfriendly. We stay only one night after we got reimbursed for the second night. Also the pool was not operational either. It seems that there is no good maintenance of the property.

The worst service. Hotel room was beyond disgusting. One of the beds was full of nasty body hair and left overs. Oil stains on the bed sheets. The bathroom had toe nail clipping all over the floor.

The common areas and rooms have a bad smell like old socks and curry. Carpet in my room was heavily stained and gross looking. Paint was peeling off walls, blanket looked like it was the original from 1980s. No cable or satellite tv and remote control was so grimy i decided not to use the tv. The lobby was decent and the continental breakfazt was subpar

We checked in and put are bags down, then I went into the bathroom to wash my hands and immediately noticed there was feces splattered on the walls and the sink and below the sink. It smelled horrible. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom. The floors were filthy along with the bed sheets. I informed the front desk of the condition of the room. He did not apologize or even say anything he simply gave me another room key. The room was clear down the hall a pretty far walk. This room was not as dirty and but the floors didn’t appear to be vacuumed. The bed sheets were clean. My wife and I drove 17 hours prior to arriving and were exhausted other wise we would of ran out of this extremely poorly run hotel.

The property was a mess! The breakfast area looked like locusts had descended and almost everything was depleted at 7 am without any apparent interest in refilling. Room was messy, three bodily fluid stains on the bed and crumbs, indicating that the sheets had NOT been chaged between stays. Pretty darn yucky.

Run down hotel. Dirty sheets. Not the cleanest. They dont even have a vending machine. Only good thing is distance to airport.

Room was dirty, sheets were stained and even though we had a non smoking room the comforter had a cigarette hole in it. We did not have soap, shampoo or conditioner. The room smelled bad and I had to spray the room with perfume to help mask the smell.

Everything was clean in the room. I asked for more towels and toilet paper and I got it without any problem. The staff was friendly. Really reconended this hotel. I'm for sure will stay there in my next visit to Salt Lake City.

The single nastiest hotel i've ever stayed in. Period. The stains on the sheets, pillows, and painting above the bed was only just the beginning. No hand soap, floors have never seen a vacuum, stairwell full of mattresses, floor was sticky, elevator sketchy

Used to be the Super 8 and not very quiet. Very quiet on this stay and like the upgrades. Nice room overall. Will stay again jf the price is right.

The property is very run down. Dead bolt on door did not work. Holes in the bathroom where the shower bar was. TV was analog only with a half dozen channels. Very run down property from end to end.

The bathroom lighting was very poor

Everything was so-so. They were friendly, but we had to wake up the front desk person when we left. The room was clean, but definitely worn. We didn't have the food because we left so early.

Changing from Royal Inn to a Super8 no sign made it difficult for food delivery and transportation beds are horrible clean but uncomfortable and the bed platforms creak. Did not sleep well because of the noise from the beds.

This is a budget extreme hotel. There is no visible sign on the building, there was an employee smoking right by the entrance next to a sign that said no smoking within. 25 feet. The entire hotel smelt musty, especially the hotel room. The ceiling above the window is falling down and crumbling. There were holes in the carpet. The tv is TINY with like 10 channels. Even though the hotel advertises a pool it was closed ‘for the season’ which I have never experience in a hotel room. It felt obviously lazy and false advertising. Everything in the room is from the 90’s. We won’t be staying again.

Everything was a bit old and not well maintained. It was ok or average but nothing special.

Room was clean and comfortable (not necessarily a fan of the soft pillow (not soft enough) and not a fan of the hard pillow-too hard but room was clean. Shower hot/cold positions were reversed. Tub was a little worn

The cheaper reason cause tv channels few limits.

The rooms, even the bathrooms, have insufficient lighting. Okay in day with curtain open, at night very difficult with just 1 dim bulb bedside lamp, and 1 sand up lamp. Very hard to get anyone at service desk even after ringing bell. Overall not bad for a budget hotel, with a little attention to these details it has potential to be a great hotel. Thank you

Quick and easy check in.

The front desk clerks were amazing!!!

Can't go into full detail because of limited character count. Employee was using guest parking to vacuum his own car when we arrived and I had to wait for him to finish vacuuming before he came to check me in. Wifi was unsecured and annoyingly kept disconnecting every couple hours. Room key deactivated every time we left the room. Toilet overflowed on first night. Staff dropped a wet plunger in hallway and ran, did not help fix toilet. Had to use all the towels to mop up water. Next day asked for more towels. Front desk argued about our having DND sign out during morning when housekeepers were there. Had to go get clean towels from front desk because they refused to bring them to room. Dead cockroach fell out of wet towels as we picked them up. TV remote only good for volume and channel, not a remote for a smart TV. No channel guide provided, TV didn't seem to be cable or satellite. Microwave did not work. Woke up late on last day & had to ask for late check out. They started knocking on the door 30 minutes before regular checkout time & kept coming back. We ran a few (5) minutes past the late checkout time, manager became visibly angry and yelled at me. I think these people are overworked. Looks like a family run hotel. We only ever saw 2 men working front desk at all hours. They don't care about guest service. They gave us no service. They took our money and let us sleep there, got angry when we left a bit late. Won't stay there again.

First of all, no one was at the desk when we arrived. Our room smelt awful even after windows open. I had to beg for another room. I asked for a wake up call and never got it. The desk girl didn’t seem to know what she was doing. The building was old, and needed updates. Even the elevator was nasty looking. For the price I paid, the place was absolutely the worst place I have ever stayed. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

It's an average hotel. I had to wait for about 10 min before someone arrived to check me in. Breakfast was good, but the hallways were not that clean.

Sam and the other front desk staff are very professional, friendly and helpful. The bathroom was clean and I felt like I was home away from home.

waited 25 minutes for anyone to show up at the front desk despite calling ahead and letting them know what time we’d get in. sat in the lobby repeatedly calling with no answer. we took a 2 day long train trip to get here and it was incredibly late, a 25 minute wait is wack especially when i gave an ETA

Booked for few hours to sleep before flight as it was near airport but AC was so noisy couldn’t get even a minute of sleep. There was no one on counter to talk. There was someone away from desk talking on phone when dropping keys before leaving . No refund given as I didn’t let them know about the problem right then. Horrible customer service checking in as well.

Just needed a place to sleep and shower before an early flight. Did the job perfectly. Quiet, very close to the airport and was nicer than the photos showed. Would def stay here again.

It's perfectly fine, clean, conveniently located and affordable near the airport.

Convenient to the airport and downtown

Was away from the city in a bank of hotels near the airport. I had my reservations about sleeping near the freeway, but the secluded area made it so easy to sleep without the city noise.

Close to airport

The check in and the checkout we’re easy however I had to wait one hour to check in as it was nap time. The staff were professional and pleasant. I just wish you were closer to some restaurants into shopping. Thank you

The hotel was clean, staff was friendly, the bed was comfortable and it was close to the airport. We will plan to stay here again when we are in need of a room.

Everything was great other than the pool was out of order when advertising other wise! The breakfast wasn’t the best, they didn’t have any hot options other than oatmeal and pancakes. Would have liked to see potatoes or sausage of some sort.

Specifically booked hotel for its pool & breakfast option. The pool has been out of order for 5 months its webs doesn’t reflect this & the breakfast is waffles, muffins, cereal. Very disappointing

This is a typical budget hotel. No major problems. Needs a little tender care with repairs. Breakfast bar was same as other budget hotels - basic stuff, but OK. Worth the price. Would stay here again.

The room was clean and comfortable. The bathtub had several cracks and the bottom flexed when standing in the shower. The "FREE BREAKFAST" was toast, jelly and oatmeal. I should have stayed at the Comfort Inn, which was the same price.

Even though the hotel is still under renovation, the room was clean and comfortable. A couple of things were bothering us: strong painting odor and something retelling in the airconditioner.

The breakfast served was extremely minimal. Pretty much waffles and cereal. The regular coffee running dry was a disappointment. Otherwise a clean and comfortable place to stay.
