Wherever we go, we'll try to find a Courtyard hotel. They suits our needs quite nicely with all the amenities they offer. Unfortunately with it being off season travel, the pool was closed for renovations so we missed an opportunity to unwind for the day with an evening swim. This particular one is very close to the Richmond Airport and getting there couldn't be easier. The Airport Shuttle option is very easy - reserve your time at the front desk. They were waiting for us and we were at the airport within 10 minutes. If we're in the area again - this is where we'll be staying.

Your charging $10 a day to park? How ridiculously greedy that is.

24 hour airport shuttle availability was great and quick. We had a short stay but everything was as advertised and everyone was very helpful. Nice bistro for a quick breakfast.

Convenience to RIC. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice to be able to get a drink and food at the lobby bar.

Airport Shuttle 24 hours. Nice Staff. Very clean room. Business center is a nice size. Bar open until 10 pm if you drink. Decor is very attactive and modern.

The hotel was nice and the shuttle was good from airport it runs 24 hours which was great.

The shower in my room had the worst water pressure that I have ever experienced. The water maybe made it 1/4 length of the tub. Not exceptaple for a hotel. I could have saved money and stayed at a motel. Also the indoor pool was out of order.

Old property. Renovated a few years ago, it seems. Very clean, except my shower, which had mold and dirty walls. Photos make the property look cleaner and newer than it is. Drug users and homeless people in the parking lot. Not a safe area at all. No complementary coffee or breakfast. You have to purchased everything and the food is not good.

There was hair on the bed, mold and rust in bathtub so I asked to get moved to a different room. The second room also had hairs on backboard and on bedsheets, counter tops were dirty, shower was a little better but still rust all over. There was a roof leak by the elevators, so rugs were wet no sign or bucket to catch water gladly i heard it before walking under it. Should lower prices, quality does not match price. Friendly staff was the only good thing.

Mildew in the shower. Disgusting bedroom ceiling but recently renovated on the inside. Outside can use a touch up but the area is declining.

Ants all over the bedside table. Handicap shower leaked all over floor. Had to wait at check in because room wasn’t ready. Given a handicap room although it’s not what I reserved.

My room was filled with ants all around the bed, woke up in the middle of the night with ants all over me. I did not eat in the room.

I had to clean my room as soon as I entered it. Visible stains on furniture, hard surfaces such as desk/table were dirty. My toilet broke after flushing it one time. A trip on the elevator, a button completely fell off. Very old and outdated hotel

I have stayed here before and returned knowing that I would have a clean safe place to stay. I recommend staying here.

The staff were super nice, but the room smelled of cigarettes and the bathroom had a used bar of soap left in the shower. There looked to be mold growing in the shower as well. We were only there for one night, but I expected better from a Marriott property.

Outdated, Not your typical Marriott

It is a courtyard Marriott - but not one of the nicer Marriott’s.. the common areas are small. The breakfast area is crummy. The internet is absolutely terrible. I’m only here 1 night. The bed is comfortable. The room is clean.

The condition of the property was below Marriott standard. Furniture in the room was stained. Overall property was dated and dingy.

I booked this property because I thought it was a premium property, but when I arrived, I was sad to notice how rundown the place really looked. I could tell that the intention was to be upscale, but they need a renovation. Carpet was ripping up, smelled a little bad, And the air conditioning in the room did not work well.

Great airport proximity, but we didn't notice airplane nose during the night. They were kind enough to let us check in a little early. All was good for our night there, except the A/C unit in our room was very loud each time it cut on during the night. Otherwise would recommend.

We were very comfortable at this hotel property. The bed was comfy and there was a feather and a foam pillow for each of us. Although it is very close to the airport we were not bothered by noise. We did not realize that the cleaning is typically done every other day unless requested daily so be mindful of that. Overall very convenient for travelers and a good place to stay.

Wifi was not consistent. All exercise equipment did not work properly (tv, screens for machine) and bistro did not present with a variety of options for the price. When i arrived i was given a key that was not activated and had to have it redone. It was average fof the price.

Great location near the airport, easy to locate. The room was not shabby, but looked like it was decorated in the 1960s! Also, the headboard to the bed was a couple of foam pillows with part of its cover missing. The wall paper was a mismatch of some kind. Bathroom dated, but okay though I prefer a walk-in shower. In summary, it was neat and clean, people nice, bed good -- all very functional, but did not feel like an up-to-date Marriott. I was only there one night and did have a good rest. Quiet, despite airport nearby.

The hotel was clean, the free shuttle was great. When we arrived after a very long day of travel we walked in to find the front desk person in a heated discussion with a guest and a group the guest was with. We stood in front of the checkin desk for at least five minutes listening to each them bicker. The front desk person was behind the desk and we were directly in front of it and she never even looked at us. Never acknowledged us. I finally said, excuse me, we need to check in, and she looked at me and said , “I’m aware.” Her demeanor to me and the other guests was unprofessional and rude. It was midnight, we were exhausted, and just wanted to go to sleep. Once we made it to the room, it was nice. The next morning, the person working in the bistro was extremely nice.

I checked out this morning early. My shuttle was not ordered for me. The gentleman that checked me out, I don’t remember his name but he personally drove me to the airport. Excellent customer service. I will definitely be back. Thank you very much.

The front desk associate was extremely friendly and helpful. I did go to the bar to get a drink. The man working at the bar was not friendly at all and just complained about the lady at front desk. Shower was NOT CLEANED. It had a dirty wash cloth in it and body hair. Obviously, it was not cleaned at all prior to my stay. DISGUSTING (So I cleaned it myself). PROS: Lady at front desk was great and bed was very comfortable. CONS: Bartender and FILTHY shower.

Arrived late to a full lobby of kids and parents from a soccer tournament all over the place. This must have been hectic for the one lady at the desk but to my surprise she was still very polite and friendly. I was checked in quickly and she arranged shuttle to airport with no issues. Wish I caught her name she did a great job!!

Our flight was delayed coming in, and even with a pre-check in completed and letting the property know we wouldn’t arrive until late, they cancelled our reservation. Then they couldn’t key the room and we had to be moved twice because the doors weren’t working. All at 3am as well. When we got into the room there was a brown red substance on the wall, the ac had wires coming out of it and the fire alarm was falling off the ceiling. At that point we were so exhausted we just went to bed. Wouldn’t stay again. All around frustrating and upsetting for a Marriott property.

Didnt like the women at the front desk. Lied to me about breakfast and told me i had to go to waffle house. Just treated me like she didnt like white people.

The area is very convenient to airport food and snacks. It would help if they had security since it is not well lit at night

The area around the hotel is not safe. The hotel itself is average but you don’t want to venture around the area.

All the signs around the hotel say “ not responsible for damage to your car “ made me nervous about the area

Pictures on line looked nice but neighborhood was very sketchy. Room seemed pretty dated, especially the bathroom. Lighting at the vanity very dim.

Desk staff were lovely 😊 Super close to Richmond Airport. Shuttle driver was right on time.

Half way stop to final destination. No breakfast

Our second time staying at this hotel. Staff is beyond great. I'm happy with the services we have received. This time we ate at the Bistro for the two mornings we stayed. The woman who prepares the food was kind and sweet and did a great job and the food we ordered was really good. If I had one critique, they need someone that can help out, because while she was preparing our food, others we waiting to just order coffee.

Property itself was acceptable. Staff were all friendly. There was an issue with breakfast as some breakfast staples were unavailable. Was not explained that you had to pay for breakfast. Other guest had the same impression i.e. no cost. Also has a shuttle for the airport. Overall I'd stay again,

Front desk - Excellent (helpful, attentive); room up to date and clean; everything worked; Airport shuttle there when needed - perfect. One Big disappointment: Courtyard's Bistro failed to open in the evening of our stay and again in the morning at 6:00AM We'll stay again next time we fly in or out of Richmond.

The only thing I did not like, there was no complimentary breakfast like I’m used to. Everything is more geared to spending money after you spend for a nice hotel that Erik feed you so you can come back next time for the next leisure or business tip.

Although the bed was very comfortable, nice and the room was quiet, there were other things that will ensure we won’t return for another stay. We stayed in room 302. There was neglect and dilapidation of parts in the bathroom. Rust and damage as well as a loose shower curtain bar in the shower and the grate covering the intake fan in the bathroom need to be tightened. We reported it to the front desk. The “breakfast” at the Starbucks in the lobby was the deal breaker for us. There was 1 young man working and he seemed like he didn’t really want to be there. We think he was the only person working in the food area. Therefore the service was incredibly slow and the food was not very good. It was also expensive. He kept leaving the front food area and going back into the kitchen. My husband and I had to leave and wanted to wrap up our food. My husband went to the kitchen door to knock and get the man’s attention to ask for a box. The front desk clerk at the front of the hotel saw this and screamed at my husband when he went to the kitchen door to knock and ask for a box. She literally screamed at him not to go back there. He was never planning to enter the kitchen, only trying to get the attention of the 1 staff member working so he could get a box for his food. For as much as a one night stay costs, the least that can be done is have some breakfast items available for no cost. We will not be returning.

There was no coffee station in lobby only coffee at the Bistro opened at 630. Staff was great and gave me a coffee at the bistro as I did not have a coffee cup in my room because we used the two we had the evening before. Staff was wonderful! Fire alarm went off and we evacuated was the only drawback to our night.
