Decent place for price. Smells of smoke throughout the whole building. Gym is out of order. Some of the rooms are falling apart. Breakfast is slim pickings. Staff are nice and beds are comfortable. Stayed here 3 times in 3 different rooms and they are consistantly clean and bug free.

Needed a place to sleep prior to an early flight out of RIC. The property is approx. 1.7 miles from airport. Room was clean, although TV did not work. Bed was comfortable. I had trouble with the door key, outside doors did not work. All guests had to enter/ exit through lobby- which was a better security system. Didn't have breakfast, but it looked very sparse. The coffee was hot but average. I didn't see an airport shuttle

Property was extremely dated. Mold around tub. Rusted toilet paper holder and tissue holder. Cigarette burn marks all over Sind. Both hot and cold knobs were half missing. Extremely strong cigarette smell throughout. Elevator out of order.

We stayed here one night. There was no one to check us in when we arrived. After waiting 15 minutes we received a key to a room on the second floor but the non-smoking room smelled of smoke. We asked for another room and the clerk showed us a room on the first floor that was damp and smelled of mildew. We opted for a different room on the second floor which smelled a little better. The rooms all had stains on the bathroom fixtures. The elevator was out of order, and the lobby restroom was closed. The side door was unlocked. Morning breakfast consisted of coffee and cereal, bagels, muffins and waffles but there was waffle mix all over the counter. Wyndham should be ashamed.

The facility was dirty. Carpet was ripped and dirty, smelled, elevator was not working, workout facility was turned into a storage closet. Bathroom sink, tub and walls were stained. Towels were also stained. I was on the second floor and it sounded like construction was going on the 3rd floor from Midnight to 4 am. I went to use the bathroom at 6 am and cockroaches were all over the bathroom. We then got up and left, didn't even think to entertain the breakfast.

Bugs & Deplorable condition. We checked into room 217, flipped switch in bath, didn't work. Turned on second light to see the tub crawling with bugs. Changed to room 221, only one bug. The room was so ratty. Walls crumbling, holes in carpet, no handles on the faucet. Noisy. I will not be staying in Wyndham properties again. They should be ashamed.

We switched rooms 3 times it was utterly disgusting from a big water leak that soaked the carpet, cockroaches, broken handles on the sinks, no washcloths, smoke smell, dirty filthy carpets I wouldn’t even let a pet on, dog poop in the hallway. The health department should condemn this place. The fire marshal should be in there checking smoke detectors as ours had a plastic bag over it. Would not recommend this hotel.

The room was filthy. The white towels and wash cloths were visibly dirty, there were bed bugs and a dead fly in the tub. The room was not cleaned upon check in. Staff was pleasant and stated they would assist but did not. I would not recommend staying here. We were in a tight situation which required a stay longer than 7 days (the cap for most area hotels) and thought this would be good. Location is convenient to food and shopping and directly across from the airport.

This was the dirtiest hotel room I've ever stayed in. With the Wyndham name attached I thought I could trust it. Unfortunately, the tub was dirty, the towels were dirty and of very low quality, the sink was missing pieces of the handles, and I was afraid to walk on the carpet without socks.

The hotel is extremely dirty and falling apart. The staff spoke little to no English. There were stains on all of the bedding and the building smelled of marijuana. The continental breakfast consisted of a broken waffle maker and an overpriced vending machine.

The hallway smelled like cat urine, the bathtub bottom was black. There was a vomit stain on the carpet in the room (with splatter on the bed skirt). The staff gave an extra blanket covered in cigarette burns. The free breakfast wasn’t too bad, but overall would not book the hotel again.

Sat in the lobby waiting 45 mins before an employee even acknowledged or checked us in. The WiFi was not working which we were told there was an outage but they didn’t even try to fix it. The next morning the power kept goin out as we were trying to get ready for a funeral. I contacted customer service and asked for a refund which I still have not seen, I didn’t stay the second night because customer service called the property and I was told I’d get refunded for one night and to find somewhere else to stay nearby.

I rented a non smoking room and was told not to smoke or I would be charged. The room was smoky. I reported it to the front desk. It was the last room on the 1st floor and the elevator was broken. The public restroom was labeled out of service, as well. I went and got room deodorizer and sprayed the room and brought the minimum of things inside. Long story short, the bed sheets were dirty, the toilet was plugged, there was only a 1/2 roll of toilet paper provided, sink knobs were broken. I went and asked for clean bedding and was provided one sheet that I wrapped up in when I went to sleep. The next morning there was NO HOT WATER for a shower. I packed up, as is and went to ask for a refund. The manager was not available. I called the number for the manager and he did not answer, I left a message and he did not call back. I called again this morning, he wont be in until after 11 a.m. I have initiated a credit card dispute. The location is close to the airport is the only good thing I can say. I cannot blame them for the people in Room 136 that decided that they needed to have a fight when most people at a hotel are trying to sleep. Regardless, it was a lousy night of sleep and I couldn't even clean up in a hot shower.

Everything was okay until I ordered food and the ants got in my food. Then we saw the spiders. Then the sink in the room leaked on the floor so the floor stayed wet. When we checked into the room the door was already open. Everything in the room seemed to be broken.

Very close to the airport. Convenient location. Affordable. Room was okay. Not updated. The faucet handles were missing on the sink, so it was difficult to turn in and off. The carpet was visibly dirty. One of the beds had a mildewy mattress cover under the sheets. The tray that the ice bucket was sitting on had obviously not been cleaned as it had dried sludge in the crevices. The sheets and towels were clean. I asked for a noon checkout (one hour later than usual checkout). I was told it would be okay; but apparently no one notified the rest if the staff as my door was knocked on 4 separate times BEFORE 11 AM. Asking if I was checking out. Really annoying. One woman was rude when I told her I had a noon checkout, and she returned with the front desk gentleman who had told me noon checkout was fine.

first: front desk rep was right on point ~ even with a guest yelling at him second: didnt see any bugs however, skunk-weed smell in the entire building, nighttime was drowned with cigerette smoke ~ even though was supposed to be in a non-smoking room, floors stained, box spring stained, remote to tv didnt work but we could reach up over our head to work the buttons on the tv, could hear people walking/falling from the floor above, shower didnt get very hot..... glad we were only there for one nite to sleep

Staff was really nice & respectful/quick. The room was clean but needs updating and there were cigarette burns on the duvet & couch. The bottom of the tub was not stained & some of the fixtures needed to be replaced (switches in the bath) and the safe was hanging sideways on the wall. Overall it wasn’t the worst but definitely needs some work but it was convenient w/a great price and good for a quick stay.

While the room was clean the lighting choices were odd, kind of all or nothing. Near the airport so lots of plane noise. The bathroom was clean but the fixtures were very worn out and the water pressure was not strong.

Sat in the lobby waiting 45 mins before an employee even acknowledged or checked us in. The WiFi was not working which we were told there was an outage but they didn’t even try to fix it. The next morning the power kept goin out as we were trying to get ready for a funeral. I contacted customer service and asked for a refund which I still have not seen, I didn’t stay the second night because customer service called the property and I was told I’d get refunded for one night and to find somewhere else to stay nearby.

The front desk people is nasty and I switched rooms 3 times since I been here no water pressure in the rooms the tubs are dirty I found roaches in the rooms toilets are not working towels and washcloths are dirty conditions barely work in the rooms housekeeping halfway clean the rooms sheets are dirty with stains on them on the bed. Then after you pay for the room, they got a sign up saying no refund after 15 minutes of check in so after you check in the man at the front desk disappears over 15 minutes so when you come back, you can’t get a refund and there’s something wrong with the room when I first got here everybody that checked in when I checked in was at the front desk, looking for the man to tell them something was wrong with the room, and he disappeared on us when you go to talk to attitude

This had to be the absolute worst experience I have ever had dealing with a hotel. Check-In itself was the only smooth part. We checked in late in the day, around 7PM. We got our keys, parked, and tried the key on the side door. Doesn't work. Have to go back through the lobby. Elevator doesn't work, so we have to walk back to the end of the hotel with the door that doesn't work to go up the steps. Got two rooms. One of the two rooms had trash still, messy beds that were never made up, urine still in the toilet, it was absolute filth. My wife went down to tell them to fix it. As she did so she watched another family open their door after check in and immediate turn around to request a refund and find elsewhere. They acted as if my wife was lying and refused to give us another room, outside of trying to give us a single when we reserved a double. We eventually got our double but she had to fight for it. TVs were maybe 22" which is ok if it wasn't 7 feet in the air in the furthest corner of the room. On top of that, none of the channels worked, nor did the remote work properly. Had to unplug to turn it off. Couldn't unmute. This was the smallest irritation of the trip but still worth mentioning. We were in town for an event, where this hotel became the host hotel for that event. Everyone who returned to the event on Sunday had nothing positive to say. I've never written a hotel review before... I'm delighted to make this one my first. AVOID AT ALL COST! Additionally

We saw many negative reviews but gave it a go anyway. It took us 20 minutes wait to get keys because the rude hotel employee was arguing with a disgruntled guest. As we waited, bugs were crawling on the floor. Once we got to check out the room, we were surprised that the room was not clean, the bed was made but not clean. Bathroom was dirty and there was urine in the toilet. We turned around and walked out. Tried to speak the office worker but she was tied up with another mad guest. STAY AWAY REGARDLESS OF THE PRICE!

Terrible service I was the only one there checking in at 11 PM at night and the guy took forever on the computer. Clearly there was a problem even though I just booked this online the night before and there’s nobody around and he’s not telling me anything. Eventually gives me keys but only after I asked is there a problem and he said yeah, but he didn’t elaborate so I just kept waiting. The breakfast was extraordinarily awful. The entire area was dirty. There was no milk at all and the milk container with an hour to go. They were very few muffins. There was pancake batter all over the counter and a mess on the floor.. there was a guy in the lobby, talking on the phone very loudly about the girl that took all his money and on and on and on with that. Couldn’t go into my room with the food because it says you’re not allowed to do that and if you do you’re going to lose your deposit. Then there was the dirty laundry on the floor all the way down the hallway of the room rooms and the fact the TV didn’t work at all. There’s more but why bother I’ll just leave it at that!

The hotel looked beautiful from the outside. The hotel is not the worst but it definitely is need of a renovation. The best part of the hotel is the staff. When I checked in the attendant at the desk was very friendly and helpful. I needed a 12 pm checkout and she was very accommodating. The room was very old but it was okay for one night. I did not like that the toilet stool was frayed and falling apart, it definitely should have been changed before having guests occupy the room. This was good for one night but I do not recommend this as a place to stay for longer than a weekend or a couple of days. Parking was readily available and I was not charged any parking fees.

Hotel was bearable. It is in a safe area, there were no bugs and was comfortable. However, the woman at the Reservation desk was very unpleasant and unfriendly to deal with. There were several unfriendly signs posted at Reservation desk, for example: “If you forget your belongings, they will be thrown in garbage.” “If the cleaning staff find any evidence that breakfast or juice was brought to your room, you will lose your $50.00 deposit.” Seriously! You can’t bring juice into your hotel room. I found this very unwelcoming for a Hotel. The room did not have some amenities. Don’t let the picture of the shampoo/conditioner and make-up remover fool you, there was none in the room. There was no phone in the room, no bedside lamp, no coffee machine, no hairdryer, etc… no writing pad and pen and no Bible. Breakfast options were very limited, and don’t forget… Don’t bring it to your room or you will be charged $50.00!!!! We actually cancelled our second stay there on the way home due to how unwelcoming this Hotel is and how expensive it is for what you get, plus the room smelled bad like cleaning products.

Needed a place to sleep prior to an early flight out of RIC. The property is approx. 1.7 miles from airport. Room was clean, although TV did not work. Bed was comfortable. I had trouble with the door key, outside doors did not work. All guests had to enter/ exit through lobby- which was a better security system. Didn't have breakfast, but it looked very sparse. The coffee was hot but average. I didn't see an airport shuttle

This was a decent place for a quick night stay in between travels. Everything was super easy and fast when it came to parking and check in. Conveniently located right next to Sheetz and Wawa for quick food options. if you are looking for a place to stay just for the night, I recommend.

Very convenient to the airport and just off the highway. The lobby stunk of marijuana. The room is decent but the bathroom especially needed better cleaning. There was hair everywhere. About an hour into our stay, the smell of marijuana wafted into our non-smoking room. It's unfortunate others aren't respectful of families with children who don't need to be exposed to that.

I stay at the Microtel pretty often and it's always my go to in this area because of what your getting for your money. The rooms are pretty affordable, can be a little high on the weekends but that's expected. The complimentary breakfast is always on point. My only complaint is that recently over my last few stays I've noticed that the rooms are not as clean as they used to be. There have been roaches in the room the past two or three stays. Not like an infestation but a couple each time which made it impossible to sleep and was afraid of putting my bags down in fear of taking them home with me. Also the elevator has been down the past few times which is inconvenient when staying on the 2nd and 3rd floors. I don't have any complaints other than then that and the cleanliness not being up to par as it used to be. Staff is friendly and accommodating. It's in walking distance to the 711 and Sheetz and Wawa are across the street and El Patron is a short walk from the hotel as well.

Our first impression was the smell of marijuana when we entered the front door. We were put in a handicapped room, which we didn't need, but we thought it's only for one night. There was no hot water the next morning when we went to take a shower and because it was a handicapped shower the water was all over the bathroom floor. The shower head was a hand held one which barely worked.. The one plus was the breakfast.

Took the towels after the first night even though we hung them up but never brought fresh. The hallway carpet was stained and very dirty. Breakfast area was very basic. One carafe of coffee that always seemed to be empty. Spills on the floor right in front of the elevator that patrons had to walk around but the staff did too. It was an ok stay for two nights but the facility could use a lot of updates.

The hotel is extremely dirty and falling apart. The staff spoke little to no English. There were stains on all of the bedding and the building smelled of marijuana. The continental breakfast consisted of a broken waffle maker and an overpriced vending machine.

It was very dirty. Tilley was running, towels and linen were stained. Breakfast was to be served till 930, got there at 915 and there was only one bagel left and no batter for the waffle iron. Pictures were very deceiving when booking this hotel. Save your money and go to motel six it might be cleaner

There a few things that are expected from a hotel, and this hotel did not meet them. First and foremost, we arrived and were told that the elevator was out of service. So we had to drag our luggage up the stairs at the end of the building. Second, breakfast was included in the stay. Like most hotels, bagels and make your own waffles were provided in the lounge. It appears that bagels and waffle batter were provided by staff early in the morning, but no one maintained cleanliness in the breakfast area. Food, debris, and waffle batter were scattered on the food preparation areas and surrounding floors. So much so that we decided to eat elsewhere. Was rather disgusting in nature. Third, the emergency water sprinkler mounted the ceiling near the breakfast bar was leaking. Judging by the staining on the surrounding ceiling, it appears to have been leaking for a prolonged period of time. The hotel’s answer to this problem was to have a bucket laying in the center of the floor to catch the leaking water. Furthermore, adding to the I’ll-appeal of the breakfast bar and hotel environment. Fourth, our shower was deemed unusable. The water failed to heat at all. Couldn’t even retrieve like warm water. The shower knob is a single knob that rotates from cold to warm. The knob rotated completely around endlessly (I’m assuming in need of repair) and never achieved a position where the water was even like warm. Lastly the bed sheets had multiple cigarette burn holes. Very uncomfortable

Honestly was surprised by how bad this hotel has become. A great stay about a year and a half ago but this stay was not great. The room wasn’t ready when I arrived even though I booked a week before and the check in was at 4:00pm I arrived a hour later and they still weren’t ready. The fridge in the pictures was a waist height mini fridge the actual fridge was knee height. One member of staff want help full but the rest were great. I requested I different room for that day or the next day and was told they didn’t have any but another employee told me there were 2 open. Don’t stay unless you have no choice. 50/50 chance you will get a good room.

Our room was very run down, there were several things broken in the room including the shower rod and seating area above the ac unit. The carpet also had stains and there was a pungent smell as well. The breakfast was also very minimal and had barely any options. P
