Courtyard by Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront-South

Beautiful view from balcony and we loved listening to the waves. The room was very spacious.

It was an enjoyable stay. My room was clean and comfortable. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Overall, a great hotel.

The bed was AWFUL, sunken in the middle and lopsided. I will NEVER lodge at this hotel again. I am surprised and disappointed that Marriott would allow this under their brand name. The balcony chairs were in the room in a corner. The balcony door was unaccessible due to renovation. I was placed in a room for the hearing impaired. $18 per night for parking, etc. etc. $761 total for two nights. RIDICULOUS!

The staff was very nice. Our room was clean. There was construction on two of our three days and it was very loud. Our room was a little dated with water stains on the ceilings and a tub that couldn’t drain unless you held the lever down the entire time. Our room didn’t really get warm even when we’d turned the heat up. We let the staff know but nothing was ever done to correct anything.

The ocean view was amazing
