Pool was very dirty. Room was nice but not worth the price I paid. I could get a suite elsewhere for the price i paid. Plus had to pay parking which was ridiculous. Probably won't stay there again.

Everything was great except at check-in when I approached my room, everything was left open, the room door was wedged open and all the drawers were pulled out. It appeared to be clean was just caught off guard. I called to the front desk to ensure the room was not occupied by another guest and reassured me that the room had been clean and passed their inspection and there was no other guest occupying the room. I asked could I move to another room but was told that they were completely booked. Also, the elevators are super slow. It was overall a nice hotel, the food was good at the attached restaurant and everything was within walking distance

Everything was good but the indoor pool that was supposed to be heated was never heated. It was freezing, tried to asked them about it but just kept getting the ' it takes time to be heated ' response. Been there for 3 days and it was not heated not even warm.

Loved staying here! The service was quick with no issues checking in or finding the place. The room is pretty typical. Love that it was on the boardwalk and being able to get out to the water quickly. The only issues were not having enough food options at the pizza place and the indoor pool really needs an update to cancel out the noise. It was overwhelmingly loud.

The staff was not as friendly as last year when we stayed. There seemed to be a lot of different people at front desk. The pool was "mostly" closed but I did get to swim once. The hotel is dog friendly with treats available. The breakfast is large and varied and you can request different hot items if you have special dietary needs. Our bed was comfy and room smelled good. Shower good, fridge very cold, elevators fast, rooms all face ocean. Why is there a parking fee? And even tho' lot empty we were warned not to leave car there after check out when we requested a few extra hours. This is our second stay here. We would return.

This property only has one working elevator used by both guests and staff, and it has apparently been like this for over 8 months. There is no excuse for this inconvenience! Also, the breakfast was not as good as other Hamptons and the room fixtures were past their prime.

I stayed three nights. The hotel had been remodeled so the fixtures and paint and carpet were all fine. The breakfast was very good consisting of eggs and meat and potato’s every day. The major problem was the elevators. One was out of use and the other was creaky and, with 8 floors to service, always hard to get. I learned that this was not a new problem but had been going for months. Apparently the elevators are so old that they can’t get parts for them. Elevators are something that should work in a hotel at this price level. I had to take the stairs everyday from the 4th floor to get to and from my room. Fortunately I was not on the 8th floor. But I spoke to a couple whose room was on the 7th floor. Not good.

Next to the 31st street stage which some people may like but was a bit annoying for background noise. We had our kids staying in a pull out bed and there was lots of gross food bits from prior guests inside when we lifted the cushions. Prior guests had set a bunch of alarms that kept waking us up at like 430/5am so I would urge housekeeping to make a point of disabling those when turning over room.

Ocean view room was great. Beds werd comfortable. Only issue was dried stains from a chocolate shake on the curtains, the air conditioner, and the closet door from a previous guest. We informed the front desk. We cleaned the air conditioner and the closet door ourselves. No one came to clean the curtains.

The pool is closed bc of a piece of plastic hanging over the pool area that could easily be removed with the scaffolding they have out front. Literally the only reason we booked that hotel. There was dog hair all over the floor. The shower had black hair all over it. Which we didn’t realize until after my son went to bed so they couldn’t even come in to clean it. Our room was not ready at 4pm as promised. Will not stay there again and wouldn’t recommend.

The bathroom was disgusting- there were brown stains on the bathroom door/handle, tub wall, curtain and tile. The tub was poorly cleaned with hairs still there and the sink. Looked as though they used just one rag to “clean” everything in the room. A sock was on the balcony floor. Upset as we were looking forward to coming back here for 2nd time but this was by far, disappointing.

The checkin was okay as they didnt have any tooms available. The room view qaa beautiful however the celing begin to leak one hour into the stay. Only to end up falling in around 4am. I was told i would be compensate for two of the nights out of 4. One was granted. Overall My baby celebrated her 5th bday and was extremely happy so thats all that matters.

Miserable experience. Festival next door kept us awake, and so loud we couldn’t watch TV. Had to do a late dinner away from hotel to get some respite. Booking through Hotels.com meant we had no recourse but to put up with the noise. Could not wait to get away from there. Never going back.

Great location, but lacked service and rooms were dirty. Our toilet was running the entire stay and clogged once. The tub did not drain properly so we were ankle deep in water every shower. The sink smelled like sewage. The air conditioner vent blew sideways towards the beds, so you got blasted with freezing air while you slept. We did not have shower gel at check in or for the next 2 days and had to call housekeeping 3 times to get it filled. The front desk was not very friendly and the bar staff was abrupt. Keep in mind the pizza place attached to the hotel does not open until 3pm so you can't get lunch. There was not enough space to sit at breakfast so my husband had to stand and eat one morning. And $20 daily to park?! Very disappointing. Again, this is a great location right on the beach but I would not stay here again - there are plenty of hotels on the beach.

Room was clean, bathroom too, nice TV. Balcony is very small and narrow. 2 chairs and people is about all you can fit. There was also food left in the fridge from the previous guests. It was so much food it filled the very small trashcan provided with no room for anything else. The fan in the bathroom was defective and making a lot of noise.

First off, Alexa (night front clerk) is extremely rude and condescending. I asked for a few towels and wash clothes prior to going up to my room to take a shower, like we've done the past few nights without any problems, but this particular time Alexa denied me of these towels and wash clothes stating, "housekeeping will bring them up to your room". Well, housekeeping never did. Fifteen minutes later I'm having to call and request again. The another fifteen minutes later I'm back down at the front desk requesting them in person again. She says, "he's on his way" pointing to her phone. I asked her nicely to just give me a few from the cart that was clearly in the room behind the front desk, where we've received them prior after requesting. She gave me some excuse that they've had complaints that they have stains. If requesting for something that is clearly within visible reach one shouldn't have to wait over 35mins to receive. My whole family is ready to shower and get to bed as we have to wake up early and get to the airport, but now we have to wait unnecessarily because Alexa just didn't feel like accommodating us like all the other front office clerks did. Not to mention, Alexa maintained an unsettling apathetic demeanor while being condescending. She clearly should not be in a customer service oriented position. All other staff were pleasant. The beds are firm. Breakfast was good and kept stocked. Location is great! The pool has been closed the past few days.

One person working front desk and answering phones, seemed very overworked. Waited in a line of 5 people, another worker walked by and said she will get to you soon and went back into the office. Terrible Service, room seemed older and not well kept up.

Unfortunately my checking was very unpleasant. The staff member who help me with my check in wasn't happy with my choice of reserve my stay throughout Expedia. She keep asking why I didn't reserve directly with the hotel, questioning how much I paid, and even mock me when she told me that I had to pay a fee for parking. The hotel was amazing, but I am not sure that I would stay again, because my check in experience.

The staff at this facility are outstanding! Check in was so helpful when we were in a time crunch trying to get to a family funeral. She helped make sure everything was set and ready and quick as possible. Also helped us extend our stay when a room became available when previously sold out. The night bartender was also fabulous, when our family gathered that evening. What a wonderful experience we had at this hotel.

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. Upon arrival check in was easy and friendly. We got to our floor and the a/c in the hallway was not working, it was so hot! Once we got into our room there was crud in the shower and the bed was like laying on 2x4’s. The next day we left for a while and when we returned the lock to our room was broken, we could not get in. The front desk immediately sent up someone to fix the door which inconveniently took THREE hours out of our day to sit around and wait for. After being told I would be comped the nights stay, when we checked out the next morning the man at the front desk had no clue what I was talking about, he was flustered and unfriendly. I still have not seen or heard anything of this compensation and will be following up again since the hotel manager was conveniently not around when we left nor did she actually comp the room. Most likely would not stay here again

It seemed to be in the middle of everything at Virginia Beach (on the beach, adjacent to the boardwalk and bike lanes) and yet, seemed to be fairly quiet. I loved the full breakfast which is included in the stay and the opportunity to get a wide variety of pizza's and other food and drinks in the afternoon and evening. It is a family friendly option!

The location of this property was perfect! Sunrises were spectacular! Breakfast was also very tasty and while there was a core option you still had choices of fruit, yogurt, waffles and bagels. Parking on site should be included in your stay and I wish the onsite restaurant offered more than pizza, salads and sandwiches. The pool, though warm and covered is a bit too small for such a property. Despite the nuances I had a lovely time here!

This hotel is a 10/10. The staff were extremely friendly. The property is extremely clean and well kept. Our room was great, oceanfront with amazing view. Was able to sit on the balcony and watch dolphins swim by. Hot breakfast daily with an outdoor dining patio. Would definitely recommend!!

We love the location, beautiful ocean view, bathroom is roomy and bathroom has powerful water flow. Breakfast's menu changes on different days, which is great if you stay for couple of days. However, pool's water was too cold for my boys, and they do like cool water. Toiletry could be improved, provide more toilet tissues for customers that stay more than 1 day. We'd definitely come back!

Excellent front desk & cleaning staff, and beautiful updated rooms in a primo location. Yummy breakfast too. Only drawback are the gals who work at the bar on the first floor by the beach -very rude. Rest of the hotel is EXCELLENT - just get a drink somewhere else in town.

We loved everything about our stay! The oceanfront room, the hot breakfast and the service! The breakfast staff were especially friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back!
