My stay at red roof inn was horrible and disgusting. To make a short story they make you pay extra to have a microwave and fridge in room which is not mentioned online . The room was horrible the tv wasn't working, the sink was running the whole time both nights, the bath towel had a yellowish tint to them , the bed sheets had stains on them i had to go to front office to pick out new bed sheets they all had stains on them. Police was alway called , it was a guy sleeping in a uhaul truck outside my room , people sitting in cars smoking weed and watching everything you take in your room i felt unsafe both nights couldn't sleep. Please pay the extra money for a better room and environment

The hotel was pet friendly. Staff was great! Helpful and fun. The rooms were suppose to have dorm type refrigerators and microwaves in them. Ours did not have either. It was inconvenient as we had shopped for groceries accordingly. We had no cooler. Other than that, things were fine.

I left this property early and stayed in another hotel because I found it to be a terrible place to stay. The parking lot is full of pot holes and unsafe for cars!! The room did not have many things that are standard in other hotels---hair dryer, blankets, mini-fridge, for example. The phone and the TV did not work.

The staff were very friendly and helped us with our TV that didn't work properly without some help. The only disappointment was we didn't have a refrigerator and no microwave as well. I was informed they're only in select rooms. The bed was comfortable.

Staff were nice and welcoming, but this property is filthy. We just stayed for one night on our way somewhere else. I've stayed over in a lot of budget hotels for that purpose, but I have never felt so uncomfortable. The entire room reeked of smoke. The carpeting between the beds was not vacuumed and was so dirty it felt sticky underfoot. The walls were smeared with dirt. One of the towels had pubic hair and questionable substances on it. We wiped the floor, handles, switches, and walls down with baby wipes and they came back black. There were no conveniences - no fridge, and the ice maker was broken so we lost all the food we had in a cooler. The beds were uncomfortable and you could feel every spring in the mattresses. The pool area seems nice, but this place needs a serious deep clean. I would not recommend staying unless you have no other option.

There was a construction job adjacent to the hotel that made a meeting that I had a little tough. I also wasn't aware that there were different tiers for having a microwave, refrigerator, or even a chair in the room. I would consider those base amenities that should be in every room.

So the typical hotel has a mini fridge at the very least and a microwave. This room had neither!! The bathroom was so small I hit my leg with the door every single time I closed/opened it. There isn’t enough room in the bathroom to stretch your arms all the way out. On top of no refrigerator or microwave, the location has no ice machine. I went out there to celebrate my 41st birthday and I took 2 of my closest people with me. Oh! And these are NOT queen sized beds. The beds are full sized, hell maybe even a twin but it’s definitely NOT a queen. All in all, I’m glad it was for one night. I was beyond disappointed

The room was very clean along with the bathroom. Despite it being an older building, it is kept up and maintained. My only complaints were the towels having some hair on them and the dirty vents. For the price, it was well worth it.

Unfortunately, my stay here was very disappointing. Despite the high reviews, the room did not feel clean or safe. I found a live roach, hair in the tub, and dried soap left in the sink, which made me question the overall upkeep. The location and atmosphere also felt more like the “hidden” part of the hotel rather than a secure, welcoming environment. I do want to note that Dominic, the night clerk, was extremely kind and professional. I actually felt bad for him, as multiple guests (myself included) had to return to the counter requesting room changes. He handled it with patience, but it was clear he was taking the blow for issues far beyond his control. For the price charged per night, I expected a much better experience. This was neither budget-friendly nor comfortable, and I would not recommend it.

Room was dirty, air conditioning didn’t work well it was half way taken apart with pieces falling off. The walls had paint peeling off and stains everywhere. Bathroom wasn't clean and the towels that were in the room were filthy and hadn’t been changed out. Room smelled like mold and smoke. Overall not a place I would stay at again.

The room was clean and bed very comfortable. The only thing was night time the room i had was at the end to the back and looks like a hangout spot to smoke and talk all hours and my service dog barked almost all night because if the talking outside by our room also too many outside light which made our room too bright even with the curtains closed. It was for 1 night and a saturday night also so i guess the place was full so it way not too bad.

My wife and I shared a deluxe kings room smoke free. Sadly tendents beforehand did not follow the smoke free policy. The smell was bold to say the least. The sneezing was horid. Toppling with the pet dandruff it was overwhelming. The bed left knots in my neck and back, not sure if it were the pillows or the bed itself. There were significant stains on the bed and sheets. The walls were thin enough to hear others televisions, pets i.e. dogs barking. And some "pounding" if you can catch my drift. The water pressure was good, shower was very small though. There was a 1" 1/2 gap under the front door enough for bugs to get in easily. The room was very warm if the ac wasnt blasting. All in all wouldnt recommend to my friends and family. Maybe my enemies though.

I honestly wish I would have taken photos. My wife and I booked to stay here from the 4th - 7th but ended up leaving on the 6th because I couldn’t take it anymore. First off we drove for literally 10+ hours for what we thought would be a nice vacation from Cincinnati. First when we got there none of the rooms were ready (check in was at 3 we arrived after 4). 2 other groups where there waiting as well. When we finally did get our room my wife almost dislocated her should trying to get the door open. When we did make it in the room the odor alone almost took us out. The bed sheets had medical tape all on them, the bathroom needed help tremendously, the toilet wouldn’t flush the shower ceiling was about to cave in from water damage. The floors needed to be gutted and replaced. I refused to walk without shoes on. I ended up taking the towels and using them to stand on with flip flops on to take a shower. Another towel was used to sit on in the chair. There was no fridge or microwave. I went to Walmart and spent over $100 in bedding and supplies just to be partially comfortable and try to sike my mind into thinking the room was mediocre. It didn’t work I couldn’t take it anymore and checked out a day earlier. Unfortunately the hotel also refuses to give a refund for the day we didn’t even stay. So now technically I am out of $297 for the day we didn’t use and the stuff I had to purchase to clean the room.

The rooms need updating and truly need a huge upgrade. Some of the staff have attitudes and have forgotten they work in hospitality, while others did amazing. It seemed as if all the rules were not enforced on all guest but mostly us, which we never were a problem and if something was said to us we made sure to address it. So if you have no other choice please consider some of the other hotels in the area, as this place will always be my family’s and I last option for our next stay in the Virginia Beach area.

This place is a flop house! People fighting all night outside your room. The AC is a joke! The bathrooms are gross. The towels and sheets are stained. The towels and sheets are a dingy color. They have homeless people living under their trees in the parking lot. Our room reeked of cigarettes even though it is 100% smoke free! The staff is the only nice part.

The room was clean and bed very comfortable. The only thing was night time the room i had was at the end to the back and looks like a hangout spot to smoke and talk all hours and my service dog barked almost all night because if the talking outside by our room also too many outside light which made our room too bright even with the curtains closed. Red Roof Inn Greenwich, Virginia Beach is a motel situated in close proximity to popular entertainment and restaurant venues. The grounds are well-kept and attractive, with a reasonably modern infrastructure. Staff is pleasant and friendly. My deluxe room was well-lit, spacious and accommodating, featuring popular amenities such as a large flat-panel TV with cable channels, microwave oven and refrigerator. I was very comfortable at this location. Unfortunately, the furniture, A/C unit and bedding are dated and badly in need of replacement. Cleanliness needs a bit of work as well - while far from filthy, the tiled portion of the floors in my room were covered in a fine layer of dirt and grime. All things considered, this motel room exceeded my expectations for an inexpensive stay.

This hotel should not be available on pages like Expedia or booking, as well as we arrived we left, the rooms dirty both the bathroom and the bed and the floor, outside the room dirty and in addition to that on the page it said with breakfast included and the only thing that included was a cup of coffee, we checked in at approximately 11 and left at 12 in the morning, our room was 211, I hope you can give me a refund since we did not stay 3 hours in that room

ALL GOOD. COULD USE A COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST FOR THE PRICE. ONLY 1 ICE MACHINE FOR BOTH BUILDINGS BARELY WORKING. COULDNT GET ICE UNTIL LEAVING THE NEXT MORNING. NEED TO CLEAN PUBIC HAIRS FROM BATHROOM BETTER. VERY ANNOYING WHEN I GET ROOM WITHOUT FRIDGE AND THERE IS NO ICE AVAILABLE!!!.
