A very nicely situated for a short visit-across the street from a grocery store and next door to a pharmacy. Many dining options nearby and parking is plentiful and very close to the hotel. Our room was spacious and clean. Only 2 small complaints--the room smelled a bit musty and the windows didn't lock closed. We were on the 2nd floor so that wasn't a huge issue. Overall, a great stay.

There are very few conventional hotels in Middlebury so we picked this one. The room was spacious and well laid out - much more comfortable than the rooms we have encountered in more urban areas. The room included towel bars - a huge plus in an era when you no longer get daily housekeeping! There was a small fridge, small microwave, and coffee pot. The hotel staff provided all the coffee pods, sweetener, and even half and half needed for our week long stay. (They do not have complementary coffee in the lobby). The staff was very friendly and very helpful. There were ample power outlets, but no build in USB ports. My only complaint is that for this price, I would expect complentary breakfast. They do have breakfast for sale in the bistro, but it is very over priced. The bistro is actually a Starbucks and bar that also serves a few hot foods for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (no dinner on Sundays). If you don't wish to purchase overpriced breakfast on site, there is a McDonalds and a grocery store across the street. As a head's up, if you are a first time visitor to Middlebury, most restaurants in town close at 8PM and many are closed Sunday through Tuesday, so plan accordingly.

For the price and the brand name, I expected cleaner and well maintained facilities. It appeared ‘tired’ and unkept. Toiletries that had been glued to the shower wall had fallen off and the glue had not been scraped off; grout was stained and dirty. Hallway carpets looked worn and dirty. Elevator was slow for such a small building and dirty. The smells of the bistro radiated through the lobby and to they were not great odors. Pool was closed with no explanation as to why or if it would reopen. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Staff was pleasant enough but lacked the air of professionalism. Other Marriott facilities we have stayed at, the staff was generally in uniforms or matching blazers. Did not appear to be the case at this location. The welcome speech seemed canned and rattled off while clerk was scanning the computer screen. Unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming and disappointing.

The Courtyard Middleberry was in a convenient location, had easy parking, was clean and accommodating, the staff was friendly, and the room was comfortable and quiet. I only looked in the fitness facility, but it looked nice, and I would have enjoyed a pool if they had one, of course. It is a bit of an older hotel, which isn’t a big negative, but is something to be aware of. It would also be great if they offered a free breakfast to guests. We would certainly consider staying again!

Staff was super friendly, hotel overall was very clean. the toilet in my room was loose so it wobbled, there was a bag bag full of old beer cans in the closet, the room I was in was at the end, and I could hear people stomping up and down the stairs all night long

Very conveniently located and easy parking. While somewhat understaffed, the staff were friendly and as responsive as they could be. Our fireplace switch didn't work but they came and tried to fix it. When our son decided to stay with us in our room, they easily accommodated us with a rollaway bed. One definite need for improvement: the pillows. They hold no shape and I needed 3 to be comfortable.

The staff was friendly and professional. Restaurant was clean. Food mediocre. Restaurant manager excellent, aimed at pleasing the customer. When reserving this hotel one of the eye catching amenities was the swimming pool. The website never mentioned the pool wasn’t open. Very disappointing. Please stress to your receptionist to avoid calling out female traveler’s room number out loud in front of other customers.
