Perfect little hotel with everything I needed!

The room was nice and receptionist at check-in was friendly enough. On Sunday though, the young woman at the desk, was pretty unhelpful. The pool was closed due to a chemical problem. She said she would check levels "in a few minutes" to see if they could open. I asked her to please let me know (my room was in the hallway between the pool and her desk). She didn't. After 30 minutes I went to ask her again and she said we could use the pool, but not the hottub. I asked her if it was ok if we checked out a bit late since we had waited to swim. She looked at me blankly and just said "check-out is at 11".

Room was clean. Bed comfortable. Staircase to room on 2nd floor is tight.

We always stay here on our ski trips to Stowe. We like that it is a small, quiet, clean and comfortable property, but still big enough to have a nice indoor pool and hot tub. Our rooms are well equipped and have had everything we need for a stress-free stay. The free shuttle to Stowe Ski Area is very convenient. We feel like an part of the family when we stay here.
