The property is quite affordable for the area and the rooms are clean/ staff friendly. The parking is limited when there is a party at the bowling alley. The indoor pool is quite chilly and a dry suit would be lovely for winter swimming. There was a fire alarm activation during our stay in the evening, but we were only required to be outside for two hours. Thankfully, the parking lot was available and we could sit in our cars. The only additional thing to note is a 17 dollar per day "resort fee" that will be added on per day.

This was our second year in a row staying at the Sun & Ski Inn. We absolutely love it here! The staff is super friendly. The property is great for families (Miniature golf, bowling, pool, river, s'mores by the campfire...). It's also a very convenient location. We were able to walk to our favorite restaurant in under 5 minutes! It's truly a wonderful hotel!

This is the second year we have stayed here. We will definitely be back. Very nice pool. Staff excellent. And the 8 bowling lanes are a blast (definitely reserve!)!

Rooms are clean and well-situated for a batch of ski gear. The pool and hot tub are delightful and the grounds are plentiful and back right onto the river. The food at the restaurant is delicious and quick. Above all, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful at this independently-owned hotel. Can't wait to stay here again!

We had a one night stay in a loft suite. Very clean and quiet. Large yard in the back with seating options. Very laid back place. Mini putt, bowling, with bar, pool and hot tub on site. Enjoyed sitting around the fire pit in the evening. Recreational path and good restaurants all within walking distance. Just park and enjoy the weekend.

Amazing property to just relax. Bike rentals right across the street and an easy bike path to use. Had a bowling alley and mini golf right on property. Evening fire with smores and an awesome hammock with mountain and river views

Well maintained property with plenty to do. Pool was very nice and warm, and bowling center seemed very busy while we were there. Jacuzzi wasn't the cleanest, but our room was spotless and well maintained. Would be a great place to visit in the summer. The local shuttle stopped in front and my husband took it every day to the slopes. Heard some teens got here to bowl on the shuttle as well.

Clean and very convenient to the mountain and town. Very friendly and helpful staff. It’s not fancy but it’s clean and well staffed. The bowling alley next door is great. Reserve ahead!

The hotel itself is beautiful. We enjoyed having a patio and walking to the creek behind the rooms. I was disappointed by our room as it was full of flies and the carpet had a little bit of a smell. Nothing horrible, but for what we paid I would have expected to not have flies all over the room and bathroom.

It was nice that they had bowling and mini golf; although we didn't use those amenities. The bathroom needs updating. No fan in bathroom or hose extension for tub. You needed to hold down the lever for the toilet to flush completely.

Beautiful property! Rooms were small but had everything you need to be comfortable and a little deck out the back sliding door. Amazing view of the mountains and along the water that runs behind the rooms. Had our dogs with us and lots of area to walk them. Wonderful stay in Stowe!

We stayed in the hotel not the cabins. The room was nice and big with a king size bed and one pull out with a full kitchen. Very roomy and clean. The surroundings are beautiful and the hotel is relatively centrally located to the town, gondola ride and restaurants. Nice quiet place to stay.

The 3 bedroom condo was great. The hot tub, sauna and exercise facility near the condo is just a stones throw away and was great too. They hotel staff was very accommodating to our needs and awesome. Just note that the 3 bedroom condo is not part of the hotel and is just 1 mile down the road from the main hotel. The only negative we encountered was the wifi at the condo. It seemed to be congested at certain times of the day otherwise everything else was perfect. Thank You

Great resort with beautiful grounds. The area is quiet. We enjoyed the bowling and food on site. They also have a room with books and board games to borrow during your stay. The staff is amazing and super friendly and helpful. Fresh baked cookies, hot cocoa, and coffee at all times! The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We got a loft room and our only complaint was the upstairs was warm. Air conditioning is on the bottom only so it was hot at times. They had a fan available upstairs which we used to cool down loft area. Great resort!!!

The location was great and we loved having a room with a little patio. We also had a fun night at the bowling alley. Our only complaint was our neighbor had wild kids that spent a lot of time near our patio, screaming and yelling with their mother trying to rein them in with even louder screaming and yelling. Fortunately we were out and about enjoying the outdoors so we could avoid the shouting match most of the day.

For an older property, this place has been well maintained. The setting is nice. We especially enjoyed the patio off the back of the room. The bedding was comfortable and the place was quite and relaxing. Staff was very polite and accommodating.

The staff was phenomenal. The manager suggested we move to adjoining rooms on property (definitely the right call for our teens!), to offering endless fresh baked cookies, restaurant recommendations, and just overall being kind and welcoming! The rooms were spacious, clean, and despite the construction, we were able to rest and relax. The river and mini golf were highlights of the stay for our kids. They’re already talking about returning!

The property is more like a motel, than a hotel. Having said that, the other properties on the street were similar style. The front desk person was not friendly, but answered my questions without showing any interest in a conversation. Instead of giving me some details about my stay, she said that "all the information is in the print-out which is given to me." The pool is too dark and the water in it is on the chill side. The Jacuzzi was so over-crowded that it was a challenge to get out of it. The backyard was nice, especially for those who bring the dogs. Breakfast is very basic, but they do offer good quality trail mix to go. Overall it was a good stay, but I would not rate this place as a 3 star hotel.

This was a great stay. Its very quiet and clean, you feel very safe and comfortable staying here. However the biggest stand out has to be the staff. The nicest friendliest staff ive had the pleasure to deal with. Especially the front desk while checking in or dealing with anything.

Overall, this place is great. My wife and I traveled 5 1/2 hours from New Jersey to stay here for two nights. Once we arrived, we were told that we would have to switch our rooms the following day because to some type of scheduling issue through online booking... We have traveled all over the world and never had a situation like this. It was a real inconvenience being that we were trying to hit the slopes early morning but were delayed an hour due to packing up our things, relocating, and unpacking. Other than that, everything was great.

The location is this property is just amazing sitting at the river, with comfortable chairs on site. The place is clean and beds are very comfortable. We really love it here, only we wish they have breakfast. It’s equipped with mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. I recommend you stay here and have a relaxing time.

A very nice clean room. Tje continental breakfast is basic. Includes cereal, energy bars, bread, spreads, hard boil egg, yogurt, juice and hot drinks The room was nice and clean with a back door to a larg yard. Parking was right at the room's door
