The hot tub was awesome

Enjoyed the pool and hot tub!

Good value. I was able to use the indoor Jacuzzi early in the morning. Room was clean and quiet. Only suggestion would be to add more protein to the breakfast menu.

Awesome price, great hot tub and sauna, and waffles w butter and syrup. What’s not to like about an economical experience. Make sure you have a non-smoking room and you’ve got a charming place at a good price. Fridge and microwave and TV in the room.

Coffee Lodge (drive thru), across the street serving Coffee & Unique breakfast foods. There are several Restaurants, and Fast food places nearby (Wendys, McDonalds, TacoTime) plus a couple mini marts & a Walgreens, within walking distance. Amenities: Nice Jacuzzi & Sauna(7am-10pm). Continental Breakfast (6am-10am) I would call it a Full Breakfast, as it included (OJ, Coffee, Tea, Milk, Cereals, Yami yogurts, Toast, Real Butter & I cant believe its not butter, (do the taste test for fun !) SPECIAL Homemade Waffles ! (Made for U) & of course Maple syrup, w/ Real Butter, it doesn't get any better than that ! YUM ! The Room had a really nice clean pleasant smell, pretty comforter on a pillowtop bed, which was Very comfortable. Nice big TV, New Microwave & Frig/Freezer, Big soaking Tub & Shower with Strong Water pressure. Nice Jacuzzi and Sauna were clean and working, Ice machine worked and even had a washer and dryer to use, that actually accepted quarters, imagine that! VERY REFRESHING Not to have to use a credit card for everything. Super Friendly accomodating Young man at front desk, even helped me fix my cell fone, after I accidently did something to it. I Look foreward to coming back, when Outdoor Pool opens back up. Maybe sooner! ENJAAAAA(Lovedgreeman,who quickly checked me in.

Older Hotel with clean rooms and a great price. Easy secure parking in back with plenty of light and cameras. Very Clean and renovated room. Nice location in a neighborhood. And a price you can't beat.

Cool place with a jacuzzi!

For the price, the property was okay for the age. Sauna was great. Hot tub was good, but not very hot. Staff was great, hotel lobby was inviting and clean, unfortunately because of the odd smoking rooms in the facility the hallway has a slight odor. Our non smoking room was good. We didn’t stay for breakfast, but were told there was waffles and yogurts. Better than others for the price.

It was pretty much as I expected for the price. Nothing was shiny/new but was clean and functioned well. Left over smoke smell, especially in the halls. Complimentary breakfast was basic, and not very good. Pool and hot tub were not open.

The appearance of the property looks run down. Looks like it hasn't been painted on the exterior and interior for such a long time. The room seem clean but smell musky.

The hotel is old but very clean

We had a very pleasant stay. It is an older property, the rooms were clean and it was quiet.

Although it said non-smoking it reaked of stale smoke. The carpet had cigarette burns and the bathtub was disgusting. The odor was so gross. The breakfast was 1 waffle that the ftont desk had to make, white or wheat bread and yogurt. They charge an rxtra $15 if you have a room with 2 beds and you use the second bed!! The maintenance had an ac vover outside and it was caked with grime and dust like 2 inches long. From the smell of the room, they have not cleaned their ac covers. They were charging a guy $30 for housekeeping to come during his stay.

Parking spots are few and small. Room had cleanliness issues. Bedding on one bed was still damp. Bed cover had a weird smell to it.

I had to leave the hotel. I found bed bugs in my bed and someone else's hair under a pillow. Disgusting. Will never return.

Staff especially Randy was very friendly and helpful. The only down side to the room is the carpet was hella dirty. It was soo dirty it was sticky. They need to wash the carpets !!! The hall ways smelled really bad with weed smoke. But the room and bathroom was good. Would I stay here again. Yes but its because of the convenience.

The customer service was great. We picked this property because of where it was. We had breakfast and I was a bit turned off by the orange juice container cleanliness in the breakfast room. The yogurt was great, and the waffles fine. We have had better breakfast and we've had worse. But the room should have a major clean- flies in the bathroom - some dead on the floor. THe walls were really in bad shape with dripping things all over them. THe main light shade was simple disgusting. Room 211.

Not only when you walk in is there a foul oder but when you realize what its coming from your heart will sink. Evidence of cockroaches behind the appliances and the scariest of all, Bed Bugs. I put up three of my workers in this hotel and started getting messages and photos from them saying they have bed bugs in the rooms! When I confronted the Manager about these issues she just started screaming at me saying that all my employees brought them in and she will do nothing about it. with the level of infestation in these rooms, there is no possible way that my employees brought them in. The manager started cursing at me and telling me she was going to call her lawyer then hung up on me. Whatever you do, DO NOT STAY HERE!!! You will bring home some unwanted pests. Manager will not release her records of pest control but you can clearly shee in photos that she is just pouring some white powder to try and kill these things saying "I did my own research, I don't need to call anyone!" I wasn't going to leave a negative review because its a Motel and these things happen but after the manager called me and screamed at me telling me its our fault and started threatening me legally, I had to do something. I almost forgot! They are also trying to give expired food to customers as well! I added a photo of that too.

Great hotel one of my favourite in Bellingham area, very clean hotel with very friendly and helpful staff, excellent wifi speed, and great location

Second time I stayed here, they are usually the lowest rate in the area. I never had an issue here, staff is friendly. The hotel is a tad dated in the common areas, but still feels homey enough, modern bathrooms in the rooms, and classic motel-style floral bed sheets. It feels clean enough. It's in a nice convenient area, alot of food options nearby, gas station across the street and close to freeway, about 1.5 miles from downtown Bellingbam.

Clean and comfortable 2nd floor room. Window had no screen and opened to an ivy-covered wall (not unpleasant).

Definitely a budget place with some interesting characters and a multitude of rules such as only one waffle per person for breakfast. Can’t beat the amazing price and free parking, though. Secure WiFi for your room. Mattress is comfy. Rooms are clean.

The staff is friendly and helpful and it's easy walking access to a variety of dining options. Rooms are a bit dated and older and they have smoking rooms so the halls have a lingering order of smoke but ok for the price.

The property is dated but clean. The hallways did smell of smoke but the room did not. Beds are okay - not great but not horrible. Overall the location is convenient and easy to get to. Breakfast wasn't great.

Staff is friendly. Rooms are dated and they offer smoking and non-smoking rooms so the hallways smell of smoke but for the price it works for a night or two.

Decent spot with fridge, microwave, HBO cable and a good bathroom. Functioning AC and cleanly. My favorite spot to stay at just for the premium cable and price.

The Bellingham Lodge was very comfortable and staff was excellent. Having housekeeping made the stay relaxing.

Exceptional hospitality and care for the guests!

Did what it needed to do, didn't try and do anything extra just let us come and go, lobby open 24/7, and had breakfast and daily room service with friendly staff

Place was good, stay there. But never through Expedia. They rip you off. So I stayed for two days, booked through Expedia at 158$ it was told to me $158 by two front desk clerks, so I make sure I have $160 in my account so I don't need the cask deposit. Well I check in and it's $183. I didn't mind paying the extra $20 but I'd like to have known before I had no other option at check in and now I need a security deposit because I didn't leave $190 in my bank account. Never will I use Expedia again. (The property was super cool about the deposit in my circumstance, and helped me out a lot and we're very helpful, I was leaving the country and couldn't wait a week for the $60 to go back on the card so she finangled it that she used it as part of the bill and gave me the cash back. Super amazing, she didn't have to but she was super helpful. I will remember that always. (Oh and she helped me make my waffle in the morning apparently I suck at waffle making)

Super friendly staff. Solid location!

The staff and the owner are very accommodating and nice people. Made my stay there feel very welcome like the laundry and all the other facilities I didn't really get to use the sauna in which I wanted to but I just didn't get the time to. I'm usually up and Bellingham at least a few days to maybe five once a month and yeah my new place to stay. Oh and love the waffles in the morning keep up the good work guys you got a new customer.

The front desk guy, I believe ether Scott or Steve is his name and my bad for not remembering, but always very accommodating and professional when I'm checking in. Makes you feel comfortable,I like that a lot

Great location, we were down on a biking trip, staff was great helping us store bikes safely. Very friendly, won’t hesitate to visit again!

I really hate to have to leave negative reviews. But in this case, I need to. A housekeeper there tried to accuse me of sexual misconduct which spoiled the rest of my stay. The owner Ms. Moon never apologized, but expected me to apologize for cursing her out. She ended up kicking me out for letting a homeless guy use my shower. she really has no compassion or love for her job.

Staff is rude and unhelpful. Just go somewhere else save yourself the trouble

Price was great for the area. Lodge was close to university and several bus stops. Whatcom public transportation is very easy to use, runs frequently to every where and is extremely safe. Lodge was a bit run down and outdated, but housekeeping was top notch and kept rooms clean and fresh. Breakfast was sparse, but adequate.

Located next to a good Japanese restaurant and convenient to Mt Baker.

A nice older hotel, could use a reno but still functions as a safe quiet place to stay. Restaurants and conveniences all walkinh distnace on the same street. Good central location for getting around Bellingham.

Parking was fine, excellent location and the older facility was good for the value.

was a little disappointed in the free continental breakfast, only coffee, cold cereal & waffles. No donuts. I expected a little more for $150 per night. room was clean, but the beds were a bit uncomfortable, well used over the years. All in all it was ok.

The staff is very welcoming. The room was nice. Unfortunately the breakfast is not so good. The microwave oven in the breakfast room was dirty and the door would not open easily. The floor in the breakfast room was sticky and yuck. The breakfast food was cheap and scanty. If you are going to offer breakfast, why not get some decent bread? It would make a big difference to guests if you offered some appealing foods.

What i was not impressed with was the breakfast. It was nice of the staff to prepare the waffles but their was no fruit and the coffee tasted blah. It was however nice to have breakfast available. The room carpets felt a bit damp. The whole room could use a paint touchup Their was coffee packages in the room but no tea. Other than that, It was good.

Check in was fast and they allowed us to check in early since our room was ready. Staff was friendly. Staff made free waffles for breakfast, in addition to the standard cereal, toast, yogurt, etc. Room was clean, but dated. Had all the amenities you need. Free parking, free wifi. Pool was a little small, only room for 3 adults comfortably. Location was convenient.

It's an old inn that shows signs of regular upkeep. Some rooms allow smoking, so there's a faint lingering smell throughout. Breakfast is pretty minimal, though they do serve waffles made by the receptionists, which adds a quirky touch. The main draw is the pool, hot tub, and sauna—while small, they're very clean, which is definitely a plus.

Property is older but maintained. Room was clean. Beds were just okay. Breakfast selection is limited but they will happily make you a waffle if you like and serve it with a smile. We were in town for an event and just needed a place to sleep, so this served the purpose on our budget.
