Stayed 2 nights

We booked this hotel for 2 nights in Yakima to celebrate a family member’s graduation. Upon arrival our room had no mini fridge, I called the front desk and the lady stated she didn’t know if it was supposed to be missing or if all rooms have one and that she’d call me in 5 minutes… 20 minutes later I opted to go to the front desk in person as I discovered our bedding had strange stains and the mattress has some stains as well. They switched us rooms and let us choose which was nice. The internet only works in certain areas of the hotel and the cellular service is pretty bad in the rooms. The TV was good. The shower was completely dirty and grossed us out so we used water shoes. If the pool was open we would have had a little bit of a better time. They had dead mice right next to their lobby door which is concerning but I did see rodent bait stations so they are actively working on the issue which is a good start. The breakfast ($10) per person was okay in value however the gravy tasted like nothing and the French toast was rough but honestly for 10 dollars a per you can get your moneys worth. The key cards are super finicky and if you’re in a rush you’re out of luck lol. Look we weren’t expecting a 5 star top tier hotel but even for a cheaper but not bottom of the barrel it was disappointing.

When checking in I was told their POS computer system was down and I was forced to pay in advance with CASH which I didn't have on me. I had to find an ATM, withdraw with cash -including a $25 deposit- AND pay a $3.50 ATM fee. Back at the front desk I was told that the senior/disability room I had RESERVED @ Hotels.com was not available. The room was clean, the towels and bedding were clean, wi-fi was available, but no free breakfast and there is no on-site restaurant. Upon check-out I asked for my deposit to be returned and I was forced to wait while they sent an employee to the room to check it for damage before they would release the $25 deposit to me. Most inconvenient!

Centrally located in downtown, but the hotel is quite rundown. Needs a refresh across the board. Old tech, nearly unusable TV and remote/guide. Staff very friendly!

Very run down. Fairly clean but not worth what was charged. The water in the pool was green, not a good look. Staff was pleasant. Lots of little issues that could be resolved with a little maintenance and repair.
