Very nice staff. Lots of variety at breakfast - fruit available (thank you!). Breakfast area kept very tidy. Ask for hot chocolate packets at front desk. Hot tub and sauna were not working which was disappointing since we were visiting area for a long weekend to XC ski. Cleaning staff very noisy in hallways by 8am. Looked like they were doing a deep clean of carpets and mattresses which is great. However, there was not daily housekeeping, in fact they never once came to clean our room. We had to ask for fresh towels our third day in. For the actual weekend a high school XC ski team came to stay, a large group of teens and parents. The teens “played” and talked in the hallways. The adults too socialized in the hallways near the common room and entrance to the pool. They set up their ski waxing equipment in the stairwell. As a fellow skier I want to be supportive, however as another guest at the hotel it made it hard to function.

Check in was easy and quick; individuals at the front desk were friendly. Room was large enough to accommodate our dog’s travel crate; room was clean. Grounds around the hotel well maintained. This is a pet friendly hotel, and had signed areas for pets. Breakfast was ok – eggs, waffles, toast, cereal, coffee and juice

Cleanliness was appreciated. The hot tub was broken which was a bummer because we were looking forward to that. However, the breakfast was hot and not just a grab n go, like we thought. That was a welcome surprise.

Not nearly handicapped friendly as you would expect nor up to what I had been used to in Wyndham standards. Railing for folks to go up and down are hard to grab. No elevators and no handicap bathrooms. Breakfast is practically non existent. They were cleaning rooms and removing showerheads and not replacing them before being useful. Kept telling me, “We are going through a cleaning process”… so why make those rooms available to book then?

Clean facility helpful staff but when the toilet got plugged up there was no maintenance person available so they gave me 3 different plungers, none of which worked so we had to change rooms.

Our key didn’t work and after several attempts management had to use master key to get our things then we had to move to a different room as the key lock needed a battery? And they apparently had no one to replace batteries there.

I appreciate that the area is not going to have newer modern hotels but the room and towels smelt like smoke in a non smoking room. There were a number of flies stuck between the screen and the window pane. I realized why the towels smelt like smoke when I saw the housekeeping staff was sitting outside enjoying a smoke break. The front desk staff didn’t make eye contact and finished a personal call prior to helping me. The hotel is awkwardly layed out. The sheets were clean, the television had good options and the location worked for my visit.

Room was nice and comfortable. Pool was just ok, water too chilly. Hot tub in our room was great! Snowmobilers racing their engines in the parking lot right outside our room was not cool! Also loud people in the adjoining rooms late at night was very annoying to say the least! We won’t be back.

The check in process was quick and easy. The receptionist was friendly and polite. Everything from parking, the cleanliness and comfort of the room, breakfast, courteous staff, to the ease of checking out was notable and appreciated. I will always stay here, if available, whenever I visit the Ironwood/Hurley area.

Room was clean. Front desk on Saturday afternoon and evening was excellent. Sunday morning front desk had an attitude. They offer beer, wine, and snacks at the front desk. Easy access location.

Location is so easy to get to. The staff were all really nice. The room was a good size and clean. Breakfast was tasty. We were there when it wasn't really busy, so we had the pool to ourselves. Would stay here again.

If you're going to get your snowmobile stuck in a ditch, it may as well be right in front of the place you're staying so you can pull it out with your truck in first thing in the morning! Easy access to the trail system. Hot tub is a nice touch at the end of the riding day!

I like that the halls were broken up into segments, not one big long hall. The breakfast was one of the best for a motel in this price point. It included sausage, scrambled eggs, gravy and biscuits, etc.

The hotel was very accommodating to any needs or requests. The staff was excellent. The breakfast is typical eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cold cereal, oatmeal, donuts, toast, yogurt, ave hard boiled eggs. My 9 year old son LOVED the scrambled eggs. The pool area is nice. The sauna has composite board benches which was a different experience, but it worked. Kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

The room was clean and bed was comfortable. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast left something to be desired (no fruit, limited warm food). Air conditioning unit was noisy and inconsistent, but not unlike many other motels we have stayed in.
