Best Western Riverfront Inn

Place is terrible. Not once did they mention before booking that the pool couldn’t be used. Asked to be reimbursed something by the staff but was told the pool being down was lites in my itinerary (most definitely was not and I got the proof of that). Stayed for 3 nights and not once was the room cleaned or bedding changed. Spend the extra and go to the Holiday Inn if you stay in Marinette.

Really enjoyed this hotel. Clean and spacious room. Great inside pool and hot tub. Right across the street from a park along the river. I really enjoyed exploring the area.

Pretty nice hotel. Pool was nice. Rooms were nice. A couple of opportunities for improvement - They ask how many people will be on the room, would be nice to have at least that number of towels and wash cloths. - Would be nice to have more than 1 ice machine across 6 floors.

Like the pool. Hotel needs renovating.

The breakfast is only until 9:00, wish it went later. Also, the only ice machine was on 6th floor. The staff here are all really nice !

Shower didnt work propetly. Elevators very slow. Bar and restaurant closed due to lack of staff. F

Elevators were sporadic, as in didn’t work. Waited ten minutes for front desk staff to appear. Extra charge for “river view” was to see a pond across the road from the hotel.

Older property. Smelled in the hallways because there was no air conditioning, so air was stagnant. Fitness center dirty and air was set to 76, so it was hot. Staff was great and friendly.

Pool was closed

I loved my pool time and everyone was really nice. I especially liked that bed , it was so cozy ! Yes everything was very clean etc ... No complaints.

Fine once we go our second room. Had to ask for a new room after check-in because our room was not clean. It was like they had forgotten to finish cleaning it.

The property and lobby are nice, with shopping nearby in the quaint downtown. Being near the river brings gnats, and although we were on the third floor, there were dead gnats in the shower and on the toilet. Beds were full size, not queen, if that matters to you. Breakfast included is a buffet, serve yourself.

Our first room smelled terrible and then we figured out it was due to standing water on the carpet. Our second room (dry carpet) had mold in the shower, the tub took a couple hours to drain after a shower and the toilet was nasty. Here's the best part: 1. The hotel can't give any discount due to this being booked through Experian. 2. Experian won't give a discount because the hotel needs to authorize it. 3. The hotel won't authorize it because if they do "Experian will credit you something however they won't pay us a dime for your stay." - directly from the front desk employee at this hotel.

The room could have been cleaner, surfaces and bathroom walls were not the cleanest. The hallway felt like there was a window open. Staff was nice

When we got to our room there was garbage behind the chair next to the air conditioner and crumbs scattered all over the floor I took pictures. Also they didn’t clean the mirrors u can see the smiley faces people drew on them which go away when u clean the mirror. Also the microwave and refrigerator stopped working out of nowhere for a couple hours and our food that was in the fridge got warm by time we noticed. We fiddled with the cord a little bit and then it started working again but the cord is very sensitive. We forgot to tell the front desk when we left but we wanted to let you guys know so you can fix that for the next guest who stays there. Honestly would appreciate a refund for the room or a free night or something.

We were very disappointed to arrive at the hotel and learn that the restaurant/bar was closed for the entire weekend. This was a selling point for our stay. The hotel should have posted on their site or something to give patrons a clear description of what they would NOT get during they stay. The hotel interior is outdated. The bathrooms need updating and better cleaniness. There was mildew in the tub/shower. Vacuuming was spotty. Majority of staff was wonderful and polite. Only met one staff member that didn't care to help anyone in a meanful way.

Old and rundown smell not clean

The staff was very friendly. The bed was comfortable and there is a restaurant in the motel. The river view from the room was nice.

Brand new bed but the rest of the room was very tired. The fridge plugged into the microwave which plugged into …….nowhere. The coffee machine was intended to plug into a gang outlet on top of the dresser that was supposed to be plugged into the same nowhere which was behind the 6 foot long dresser desk combo. No way to move that and I quickly gave up after finding the half inch of dust behind the dresser. Clearly none of the appliances hadn’t been used for a long time. The bathroom vent was also covered in dust/lint…yuck!

There were numerous long black hairs in the shower. I have short blonde hair. The bed was as hard as a rock.

This is an older building, but it is really showing on some of the rooms. Old holes incompletely repaired, cracks in both some of the walls and ceilings of the room. The beds were both smaller than an average double room and the mattresses and bedcovering were thin. The price was appropriate, but this property needs some work on it.

The room was outdated, homes in wall where previous art had hung. Water did not get very warm. Chipped furniture

Ok at best. People working here are wonderful and five star quality. Beds are ridiculously small and lumpy. Pool was closed too which was disappointing for the kids.

We used to stay here often. It has gone down hill. The furniture needs to be replaced. Doors are dingy looking. The beds are uncomfortable. Even the flag flying outside our window was disgraceful.

Struggle at check in due to online booking. Waiting an hour and 20 minutes for food in restaurant.

Front Desk staff was wonderful helping us with all our request.

The hotel was clean, room was mediocre. Took us almost 25 minutes to get checked in after booking online. Front desk has me swipe my card for liability purposes, I went to sign the paper, it was for someone else’s room. Then, I finally get my room keys. Go up to the room, it was already occupied and other people were in there already.

Front desk lady was extremely rude - would never stay there again!

Upon entering the hotel a person was outside the front doors Smoking, right in front of the sign that said NO SMOKING. then we were given the wrong room, I set up a 1 King Bed, we walked into our room 2 beds and a roll out. had to go back to the front desk and fix it. Then later saw the front desk worker out smoking in front of the NO SMOKING sign. ??

Beautiful property with amazing view depending on your room location. Breakfast was excellent, staff was welcoming and friendly. Only down side was parking, but understandable with location.

The hotel I usually stay for visits in town was booked, so I chose the Best Western as a substitute. Very nice staff. Even though the room was clean, some of the areas showed a lot of wear and could use an update. Despite being on a busy road, it was quiet and I had a view of the beautiful Menominee River. Would stay here again!

Good location

Well located. Good price. Nothing fancy. But I always stay there.

Comfortable hotel with nothing fancy. Room had a nice view. Restaurant in the building was good. Great park across the street to walk through. Food options within a few blocks.

It was easy to get to. Across from the river & could walk to the little island

Convenient walking access to downtown

The breakfast menu was complete processed food, no meat no eggs is the amount of money that you spend to stay there it’s pretty inexcusable

Hotel is dated. Breakfast was free but cold. No warmers under chaffing dishes. Washed clothes as we were on a long road trip and the dryer ruined our clothing. Manager was not with assist us as we will need to replace the clothing to finish our trip. Look elsewhere for accommodations.

Beds, bedding and pillows very comfortable. Room was really quiet. Staff very friendly and kind. We had a river view room which was pretty. Loved having the fridge and microwave available. Location was great we took a walk down the road, nice area and a great park in walking distance. Had a nice childrens play structure and museum on site at park. Across the street from a very nice library. We toured it and it was beautiful. Attached Restaurant was good. Server was great. I was extremely impressed with the large glass of wine at a very bargain price. The included breakfast was fantastic and about a notch better than standard hotel breakfast. Only a couple downsides- there was a sign on the pool saying closed indefinitely. However we inquired and they said the hotel recently changed hands so they needed the pool to be inspected by the state or county and that was taking a while. Tub didn’t drain during shower and heads up to parents- couldn’t figure out how to fill the tub if taking a bath. There was no way to fully close the drain. Some water damage in ceiling panels so if you are fancy you may not like some aspects of this hotel. Overall a great stay and would stay again once they get the pool reopened.

The breakfast buffet wasn’t that great. Not a lot of options to have to have a meal ticket. Beds were comfy, and Internet worked.

Property was in a nice area with bars not to far away. The bar inside in the hotel was awesome!
