Hotel Mead Resorts & Conventions Center

We were first assigned to a room with a broken air conditioner. In lieu thereof, the room had a portable contraption with a vent through the window. The window was boarded up with cardboard which was taped to the frame. The tape wasn't secure, allowing bugs and mold to accumulate on the window sill. We were given a second room which was filled with mold in the bathroom. Needless to say, we declined any further rooms. We were promised a refund, which hasn't arrived, yet.

Would like to say staff was great and prompt on calls to the front desk from room. Not so great walking up to the front desk evenings hours( no one there) Just call from your room apparently. One of the TV's by the bed wasn't working, yet had sitting area with a TV in room that worked fine. Called front and they tried to fix it, was offered to change rooms. As staff couldn't figure it out either. Still stayed, not that big of a deal. Although, one of the windows for some odd crazy reason, was in the process of being repaired. It was ducted tapped and had press board possibly and card board box over it. Now if my children were small, they are grown now. That would be a major safety concern for obvious reasons [3rd floor & not a sleep walker] So assuming it was just that room, maybe they forgot it was still under maintenance? Still wasn't feeling the need to move rooms, after the discovery. I was tired and it was late. Tried both restaurants. One to be more formal, food was ok, and prices decent. You'd be better off in the bar with the pool tables, as far as the food menu though. The swimming pool was ok, jacuzzi was tied up with a bunch of kids. So not that relaxing and skipped it. Breakfast they served in the morning, was ok. The stations of food, seemed oddly arranged. They had asked to see my room key for room #, which was fine,but felt weird about. Id rather scan my room key than be asked on a random check. As no one els I saw being asked. New owners 2024? Upgrades needed

Just to start when we arrived there was an up charge for our room because we used Hotels.com after we had waited 10 minutes for someone to finally get to the front seat to check us in. The room not clean, the shower had mildew and something spilled up the wall. The safety chain to our room was broken. Our TV turned on but no programming due to the fact that it was internet based and well none of the internet worked. When calling the front desk the reply was, “that’s above my pay grade.” They have massage chairs in a common area that are nasty dirty and the leather is gone where the massaging parts come out of the chair. Pool and hot tub were closed before we had a chance to use them 10 pm. Outside looked rough grass growing out of the black top and landscaping had not been up kept. I do have to give them props on breakfast that was better than most places all except the coffee was completely empty. 10 out of 10 do not recommend 😠

The room smelled musty and stale, tub had very dirty grout and the front of the sink was very very dusty. Towels also smelled very musty, no washcloths, no hair dryer, no mini fridge, only 1 outlet worked in the entire room so charging devices was inconvenient. Chose not to use the pool as it was very cloudy and dirty towels laid all over the patio furniture the whole first day I was there. For the price you pay for this hotel is not worth what you're getting. I'd expect this type of stay from a motel.

We rented two rooms for an overnight getaway. One of the rooms had mold in the shower. In the other room there were no usb ports to plug in our phone and other rechargeable devices. I would rate this hotel as a once fine hotel past it's prime.
