The resort is great. We came to ski at Winterplace and stayed here for 5 days. It is just 15 min away from the slopes. In case the snow conditions are not good there are many options for activities at the leisure center: movies, bowling, swimming, tennis, basketball, lazer tag, gym. Accommodations at the Inn are very specious. Breakfast provided gives enough varieties. Matthew, the front desk manager, and Mr. Tom at the leasure center were extremely kind. Food at the sports bar is also surprisingly good. Portions are quite large. We had a lot of fun and we will definitely be back.

The staff was exceptional. All, the servers, lifeguards, shuttle driver, front desk staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and were very friendly. Amenities were numerous, indoor and outdoor pools, indoor and outdoor tennis and pickle ball, bowling alley, golf courses and more. Large, walkable, grounds. The property was a bit run down though and our room was very dark.

We really enjoyed our visit to this property. We stayed in the renovated executive suite area. The staff were very warm and welcoming. The pool area was clean and well maintained and very relaxing. Breakfast was good. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Beautiful area, nice breakfast, decently adequate fitness center, arcade was old and lacking for kids. We did enjoy the pool and the lifeguards were amicable. Was sad the hot tub was being renovated. But was an enjoyable stay!

Nice property, but the indoor pool is closed. The outdoor pool is open and heated. The breakfast was included and was pretty good. The staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the local area.

After 18 holes of golf on the impressive Cobb Course, we checked in to the resort and proceeded to our room in the "Executive suite" area. opening the door to the bathroom, we found hundreds of ants (most dead) on the floor. The tub had hundreds more inside it, coming from the rusted out hole around the drain. Tile around the tub was cracked and the grout severely discolored. The king bed was OK, however the sleeper sofa was pathetic, resulting in a completely sleepless night. Breakfast was a typical buffet, which would have sufficed if it had been warm, which it wasn't. The main resort building appeared in much better shape, however the Executive suites were in serious need of some TLC both inside and out. That part of the resort was not in keeping with the rest.

The room was damp. The couch was stained. The carpet was stained. The bedroom Door wouldn’t open or close without full body pressing. The lighting was harsh. The breakfast was not good. I expected more from the resort. I was very disappointed

It says it sleeps four incorrect! It had a pullout couch that had barf on it and when we removed the cover it was like sleeping on springs the calling in the tub had major mold and the tv in the living room area didn’t work

Musty smelling when we entered the door. Two air conditioners were working hard set at 65°, too cold for us. There was black mold all around the bathroom shower and outside the shower along the floor. Shower itself worked fine. Carpets looked old and worn. We had to watch the tv in the bedroom later in the evening as the tv in the suite living room did not work. The remote lit up and worked but tv was dead. Pressing the power button on the tv itself did nothing also. There was a tear in the couch cover exposing the cushion underneath in this room. I was adjusting the curtains in the bedroom and behind the curtains I found a garbage can full from the previous guest! This whole unit needs to be updated and remodeled! We stayed at this resort 25yrs ago and loved the place but now it’s time for an update. Not worth the price we paid. All the facilities.on the property are nice with lots to do, swimming, indoor/outdoor pickleball, tennis, full gym not to mention the golf!

The property itself and the amenities at this property are beautiful and easy to use and get to. However, our room itself was absolutely filthy. It smelled like mildew. The table cloth, carpet and curtains were dirty. The sink didn't work properly and the shower barely had any water pressure.

The indoor pool was being renovated which was a principle reason we chose the stay. The rooms are dated with poor water pressure in the shower. The added resort fee was presented when we left and not charged before. The free breakfast meets the standard Quality, comfort and residence level and nothing more. I will not be using the resort in the future. Recommend not using the resort. High priced with lower delivery.

We love stopping at this dog friendly resort, but after 20 years we have been visiting it might be time for some new furniture and bathroom upgrades. The shower stream is so light I can’t even get the shampoo rinsed out.

The service provided by the front desk staff was great. The resort itself in its entirety is beautiful and has everything you could want. I was put in the Executive Suite bungalows. They were conveniently located right next to main hotel, and were quiet and had plenty of parking right next to my room, but they were severely outdated. I saw housekeeping come through every day, but when the carpet, bathroom sink and tiles are stained from age, and the wallpaper is starting to peel, it just doesn’t feel clean, you know? The bed was very comfy, though! My overall rating is, meh.

Beautiful location, lovely facilities. My cottage had flimsy boards on the porch, which need replacing. My room was very nice, but also had some structural integrity issues. The floor was very wavy. The uneven floor made it impossible to close the bathroom door. (Thank goodness I was alone.)The HVAC units in the room were not working properly, but maintenance responded very quickly.

Very nice room. Amenities were good. Convenient shuttle to Winterplace. Only negative was the incessant complaining by shuttle drivers about having to drive to Winterplace and around the resort. Every trip. Multiple drivers. I understand they were short handed but it is inappropriate to complain to customers.

This was our first time visiting. We chose this resort due to the reviews and we’re looking forward to a nice relaxing couple of days. This was not the case I was very disappointed. Our checkin was terrible. First I was told the room wasn’t ready then a room was found. I was given a key for a room in the wrong building. I had to go back to the desk in another building to get the key for the right building and room. The gentleman who arranged the original room refused to look at me when I went back to get this situation fixed he didn’t even apologize for the error. The manger did apologize but the damage was already done. The room at first seemed nice but we found out the refrigerator did not work after trying to plug it into several plugs. The air conditioners were loud and on the second and our last night there the air conditioners both stop working. We were not at all happy with the checkin or the room. But the resort itself was very nice, we had a wonderful breakfast and dinner. We walked all over the resort and enjoyed our time. First impression left me with a bad taste. I hope someone else has a better experience here but we won’t go back.

Amazing property, amazing staff. If you are picky I would not recommend staying at the executive suites, I would stay in the main facility. Staff are super helpful and will accommodate you if you have anything you aren’t happy with. The blonde at the front desk is a sweetheart.

Friendly and helpful staff in all areas. Comprehensive recreation/fitness center. Wonderful complimentary breakfast. Buildings have some age but are clean and pleasant. Beautiful country for walking trails. This was our 3rd stay and we plan to return again!

Stayed with my daughter for new years. Because all of their amenities were advertised as opened til midnight. Everything closed at 10:00… we were stuck with nothing to do…. Managers won’t call me back. It’s been 3 weeks. Room was subpar and bathroom was dirty.

Wonderful place but it’s tired and could use a refresh. Staff was very pleasant but not very attentive or aware of what was happening around them with regard to guests presence. I do know what all their plans for the weekend are though because that seemed to be their focus first then the customers. We will be back to give it another try. The location is a perfect meeting place for our family to enjoy time together.

I have stopped at Glade Springs for many years when I travel to visit my Mother. I love that it’s away from the noise of the highway yet easily accessible. The outdoor pool area is fantastic in the summer months.

great location for my friend and I to meet halfway! our boys would love the golf but we do not golf. loved all the options - fitness, pool and jacuzzi were awesome - but we had the place to ourselves. the "lake", not so much a draw as the photo easy access and get around beautiful grounds although could not find paths to walk? loved our room - big size and clean outside pool lovely too food service needs help - quality and morning breakfast was out of food each day - bad timing I guess. for all the people they had helping, they were not that helpful or friendly but great time and will go back again
