Area is very sketchy. People wander in off the street. The staff in the morning was very friendly though. Being that is was a Wyndham property I just expected something different so don’t let that fool you. Room wasn’t bad thou. The 3 beds was very convenient. Needs a little update through the building. If you need an elevator there isn’t one.

This motel has a very nice cat. The back entrance didn't work and we had to drag our stuff through the length of the first floor instead of going around the corner. The desk folks were friendly. Too many dogs staying there, big, loud, mean dogs.

This hotel was a place to stay when we couldn’t keep driving. I wouldn’t recommend it if you have other options. First, there was a raccoon in front of the entrance eating cat food. Second, the side door was propped open with a rock and not secured. Even after we removed the rock, other patrons kept replacing it and completely ignored posted signs so they could smoke right outside the door. The AC ran cold but somehow didn’t remove the moisture from the air in our room. The “breakfast” wasn’t much to speak about at all. Service was good, workers were friendly.

This stay was a first sat a Super 8 property. This property shows age in the facility was not well lit, dark, in the reception area and in the hallways. The room bedding was very clean but bedside tables had water marks from the previous guests and the bathroom floor was not clean. The sink would not drain and filled with water, dirty water from the drain. I discovered that the plumbing was not properly fitted to allow proper draining. The plumber installed a “flexible hose entirely to long” forcing the water to drain upwards, which is not possible. Fortunately the shower drain worked fine. Being in our late 70’s and the property not having an elevator we won’t return to this property, but we never say never!

The beds were comfortable. The room was quiet. The AC worked fine. The desk agents were pleasant and helpful. It was difficult to find the hotel in the dark. There is no elevator, and since the room was on 2, it took me 3 trips up the stairs to get my luggage and coolers to the room. The bathroom was dated. The refrigerator worked well and was quiet; I especially appreciated the top freezer. The breakfast choices were quite limited.

Hotel was very clean and the staff we encountered was friendly. Check in and out were very quick and easy. My only complaint is there is no elevator and this was not stated in the property listing so i had to climb 3 flights of stairs to get to our room and i have servere knee issues so this was less than ideal. If i had known i could've asked for a first floor room or booked elsewhere. Hotel states it's smoke free but the hallways constantly smelled of cigarettes so if you're sensitive to that i wouldn't stay here. Our room didn't smell but the hallways and stairways did.

The room was filthy: hair on the floor, sink, and bathtub, empty toilet roll (not even one sheet left), scraps of tissue on the floor and toiket tank, trash on the room carpet, and filthy cord and socket for hair dryer. I took photos, submitted to management, and got another room, with no tv controller.

Extremely dirty used condoms in the room and when my nephew complained they did give him a different room but made them leave the next day even though I had paid for 2 nights. Terrible I do not recommend this place.

The room was clean and smelled nice. The bathtub however was black with grime stain. Unfortunate because I really wanted to take a bath. The shower didn't drain so you stand in 6 in of water while taking a shower. Really quite nasty. The lobby smelled like cigarette smoke as well as the hallways to the room. There were shady people walking around outside with the scent of marijuana. If you want convenience it is near Kroger, the interstate and a gas station.

I chose this place due to the breakfast and price, I should have spent like $15 more dollars to get a continental breakfast, they have some on the go breakfast, not really a breakfast if you ask me. The place smells like cig smoke everywhere.

The building was obviously well used and had seen better days but was clean. The smells of smoke and mildew in the hallways and rooms were overwhelming. It was fine for a place to crash for a few hours of sleep on the road but not a place I would want to stay for more than that.

Very nice front desk staff. Cleanest hotel I’ve been in for a very long time. Hallway carpet looked new and there was not a speck of dirt anywhere. Cleaning staff on all three floors most of the day and it showed!! AND they feed at least one cat that shows up on the front step. Wonderful people!

Building has appearance of a apartment building verses a hotel, which gives it a chic and casual quality to it. Dislikes: Mattresses are hard and uncomfortable. Washer for customers use worked fine and decent price. Dryer wouldn't dry clothes after 3 full cycles ran and for cost without refund, it was ridiculous.

there was minimal sound proofing - heard lots of street noise through window. folks in room above mine stomped around lots. could hear conversation of folks in room beside me. folks in hallway (? housekeeping?) talked very loudly at 9 AM and could hear entire conversation through door while trying to sleep

Room was very large with 3 queen beds which was perfect for us. My only complaint is the EXTREMELY dirty carpet. I tried to keep shoes on the kids but the little ones would kick them off and their feet was black from the carpet.

We didn’t need much, just a clean room with basic amenities (sink, shower, toilet, TV) and unfortunately we did not get that. Our TV did not work, the phone was broken, the room was poorly cleaned (hair on the sink and in the shower), and the piping under the sink literally fell apart and water and sludge poured out on my son’s shoes. When I reported this to front desk staff they told me there was nothing they could, I needed to call back after 3 PM for a manager. When I called at 6 PM to reach the manager, the manager had not arrived and no one could estimate arrival time. Not expecting anything fancy but this was beyond disappointing.

The rooM Was fine; however, I was disappointed of the attitude of the front desk who was rude to me when I had inquired about my lost one of my car keys.I had explained that it was the last place that I had used it, and it was gonna cost me $150.00 to replace it. I was also disappointed about breakfast which was not a complete, but rather a continental breakfast.

I had one queen room bt my assigned room had terrible smoke odor. The lobby staff was kind to find a better room in terms of smell. But I cound get 2 doubles room only. The initial chekin, switching, settling in room took me another extra hr. This property doesn't ve elevator. Breakfast was terrible. The location is shady, felt unsef and litterally on a gas station property.

It is near the expressway so it is easy to drive in and out for out of town travellers. A minor inconvenience is that the rear door of the building cannot be opened from the outside using the customer digital card key for the hotel room.

This tiny highway motel is at least least available. The beds were comfortable the sheets and shower were spotlessly clean. The towels are thick and fluffy. We watched Phineas and Ferb and the Hallmark Channel. It was relaxing has a distinctive odor. We must’ve been in a smoking room that had a dog. The ceiling is very thin and the people above us were quite loud, I was happy to have a roof over my head. There are not enough hotels to accommodate the heavy traffic of the tournaments. Charleston should coordinate their calendars, but then maybe these little places would go out of business? Also, there’s a house cat and a house raccoon! Both very friendly. It felt like West Virginia should —the staff is very kind. I was grateful for the laundry! Breakfast limited in the coffee was horrific, but the people were friendly.
