Breakfast was kind of weird, a bag of apple juice, apple granola bar and apple sauce.As a diabetic, it wasn't my idea of great. However, I really needed the pool and they made sure it was heated and ready by 9am both days. We also got late checkout one day, which was lovely because we needed the rest.

Very disappointed upon arrival sign said pool closed for Maintence. Said it had been down two weeks. After paying find there is no breakfast only coffee. Carpet very worn and badly needed remodeling. Air conditioner finally cooled room at midnight. We had car trouble on trip was reason for unexpected stay. I informed at checkin I have non mobile, non verbal daughter with multiple diagnosis who has small service dog. Upon handing me the keys I was pointed to the stairs! I never thought to ask! We carried her up the stairs and back down! Upon looking for vending machines both were out of order. We are choice privileges members and travel often. Very dissatisfied!! Ice machine did work!

The employees and owner are great people. I selected the hotel as it stated it had a restaurant & bar. The restaurant is currently closed. The bar had just reopened so kinks are being worked out. Lower end hotel so if you set your expectations correctly it will be ok. Because it is an older facility be prepared for the old hotel odors. Hopeful updates can be made as the staff and owner seem like good people trying to keep up with an ever changing economy.

I chose this motel for the pool and the breakfast. Great pool not heated and outdoor therefore no pool experience. The breakfast was a brown bag if you came to the office to get it. That nice of a place with a restaurant that is never open and cold food. In the room with the temp at 70, the room is drafty and cold.

Hotel room was not in very good condition (carpet peeling up and outlet not secure in the wall) and needed a lot of updates. The website advertised an onsite restaurant and lounge, but it was closed and out of business. There was no hot or continental breakfast, even though it was listed as an amenity and instead we were only offered a very crappy grab and go paper bag breakfast with a granola bar, applesauce, and OJ. I specifically asked about breakfast at check in and was given misinformation.

The staff was so friendly and assisted with anything I needed. The small gym was convenient for anyone to use. The room was spacious, with a unique design on the wall. It was cozy and quiet. I will definitely consider staying here next time I visit Rawlins.

There was a used narcan behind the bedside table. The sliding window did not have a latch. One of the two ice makers did not work. They had 2 washers and 2 dryers, the washers worked fine but it took almost two hours to dry one load of laundry. The breakfast buffet was a brown paper bag with a cup of OJ a prepackaged muffin and a cup of mandarin oranges. The staff was very pleasant and courteous.

While the bed linens themselves looked clean, the rest of the room was considerably less desireable. The bathroom was dingy, tile/grout was dirty. Doors looked like they were just purchased from a resale shop — not just old and worn, but dirty and smudged with dirt and grease. I’m glad I wore black socks, because I’m sure white socks would have been brown from walking around. Carpet was stained, but at least it wasn’t sticky.

For an inexpensive room this one was more than adequate. The refrigerator was huge The room was quiet and the air circulated well. Theis room is also mor spacious than most. It could use some c deep cleaning in the corners and some carpet replacement to make it feel a little more clean. All in all worth the value of $80 a night

Checking in the clerk was loud and obnoxious, the room needed new carpet. It had cigarette burns all over it, it smelled like smoke, toilet was clogged, the shower faucets were falling off the wall, the ceiling was moldy and falling down, the exhaust fan didn’t work in the bathroom, The vending machines were empty, the door was not locked at night to go outside, the bed was comfortable, the advertised breakfast wasn’t a breakfast at all. It was full of preservatives. It was a sack lunch with applesauce, muffin that had been frozen how many times I don’t know, and a little container of orange juice that is not a breakfast. Lastly, the pictures that were on the Internet were not the photos of the hotel we stayed in.

The bedroom was okay, but the bathroom wasn't that great. The bathtub spout was broken so the water would continue to come out the bottom even though the shower head worked. There would be a pool of water at my feet when I showered. The tiles were also cracked in the bathroom and some towels were dorty. Hated the bag breakfast and the staff at the front were unpleasant. Coffee was gross. The cleaning people also knocked on the door early in the morning for room service when we were still getting ready and only staying one night!

Older rooms. Upkeep needed especially in the bathroom, more water came out of the tub faucet than the shower head. Heat was set at 81 to match the temp I’m used to sleeping in of 62. Staff was great and very accommodating especially given the road closures and sudden rush for rooms.

Did not take a shower as it looked like the tile in the bottom would cut your feet & it was gross. Could hear all the neighbors - arguing on one side, vomiting on the other. Horrible experience.

It said there was free breakfast, there was not. The hotel is dumpy and dirty. The light didn’t work in our room. The room was dirty, beds and pillows terrible. Do not stay here.

Upon check in, the staff was non existent. I even called the front desk to try and get someone attention, but that didn’t work. The hotel itself is in need of an update and remodel. Even just the effort of some small cosmetic work would make it feel comfortable. The biggest thing would be pulling the carpet up and replacing it. You can definitely smell that it was previously a smoking room. Overall, I wouldn’t make this my first choice going back to Rawlins, but if I needed somewhere to stay overnight in a pinch.

God bless the people at Econo Lodge in Rawlins! My family had a terrible car trouble and they were so kind! Our stay was clean and just what we needed to rest. Older place, but the service more than made up for the state of the hotel every person in that place deserves a raise!

We got stuck in Rawlins by an unexpected winter storm. We were in our way to Seattle from Texas to see our new grandson and knew nothing about the weather in this area. Joe E. Was extremely helpful in helping us find safe routes. When Interstate 80 was closed for over five hours, the lady at the front desk (an older lady with blonde hair and glasses) was amazing at calming me down. She was both comforting and informative about the travel conditions. Staff is amazing here.

Reservation said breakfast included. There was no breakfast. The ac unit sounded like a grinder every time it kicked on until the fan got up to speed. Tried to call and go see staff but could never find anyone! Would not recommend this place.

We needed a place for a short stay on the way. The room was a bit small for 4, but bathroom good, and exactly what we needed for a short night. The man in charge waited for us quite late and also arranged small bags with some food in the morning - very useful for us leaving early. Thanks! Pity we stayed only a few hours.

I even had a difficult time finding help at the registration desk and usually had to go looking for the woman that work at the desk.
